This was a cozy cottage with very small rooms. The back yard was wonderful for our dog and would be great for a barbecue. What a great price and location!

Cute place and short walk to beach and shops. Loved the fenced backyard so we could bring our fur baby. Not sure why but the second bedroom was dismantled. It worked out ok since it was just my husband and myself so only needed one bedroom. Could have used more towels in the bathroom. Did have one incident with a light fixture and Management was very prompt with sending someone out to fix it! Would stay again.
Nice fire pit in backyard.
Enjoyed watching some elk grazing in the neighbor’s yard.

We sincerely apologize that the one bedroom was in transition, we had moved a few things aside for some roof work happening before your arrival. We enjoyed our stay at the Seabreeze! The house is old and has some quirks but was comfortable and clean. Management informed us a week in advance that the dryer was broken so we had to hang dry our laundry (which can be challenging in a humid place like Cannon Beach).The fenced in backyard was great for our 2 dogs and happens to be on the 4th of July parade route. Our dogs are 40-50 lbs each and stand about 20 inches at the shoulder. The lowest part of the fence was a gate that was 3 ft tall so I didn't feel comfortable having the dogs outside without keeping an eye on them.We chose to stay in Cannon Beach for a fireworks-free fourth of July. There were a couple distant booms but overall our dogs had a stress free week. One thing that could be improved would be adding a way to charge an electric vehicle since the public charging options in Cannon Beach are extremely limited/non-operational.

The location is excellent - in the center of Cannon Beach so it's an easy walk to anywhere in town & to the beach. Including Haystack Rock. Neighborhood is quiet.The photos are deceiving - the rooms are tiny compared to how they look in the photos. Home probably was built in early 1900s with minimal updates. Windows are painted shut & the home got uncomfortably stuffy in the afternoons.The family room addition looking onto the fenced back yard is very comfortable. The backyard is very pleasant for people & their dogs.Internet is painfully slow - hard to stream Netflix because the programs search for a signal every few minutes.We were notified before check-in that the dryer was not working. Upon seeing it, it is obvious that it hasn't worked in years. We stayed 8 nights & there was no attempt to repair or replace it. We drove 10 miles north to a laundromat in Seaside.Still, it is one of the least expensive pet friendly vacation rentals.

I’m sorry the afternoons got stuffy and that the internet was slow for you. The home was quaint and situated in a good location, within walking distance of the beach and downtown. We even saw a herd of elk pass by the house. However, the property was not adequately prepared for our arrival. When we got there at 6:00 PM, we noticed dog hair on the coffee table and on the floor, balls of hair along the baseboards. The only cleaning supplies provided were paper towels and a vacuum, so we spent our first evening cleaning.There were not enough towels; only four were provided, and they had a musty smell. Additionally, the cold water in the bathroom sink was turned off. What appeared to be black mold was present on the bathroom window, and pink mold was present on the shower curtain. The bedding smelled like dog, and there were piles of dog feces in the backyard.There are gaming console games, but there was no console to play them on. The television was very small, and there were no fans or options to open the bedroom windows for fresh air during the day. A carbon monoxide detector was sitting on one of the bedroom tables, not plugged into a wall.While there were two coffee makers, no coffee was supplied. The bathroom lacked counter space, and none of the windows could be opened. It was very cold, and we had to roll a heater around to warm up and then into the tiny bathroom. We left a day early because of these issues.
