This riverside Orondo vacation home in the Sun Cove neighborhood offers stunning water & mountain views. Sun Cove amenities include newly resurfaced pickleball/tennis courts, community swimming pool, rec center with pool table and foosball table, boat launch, playground, volleyball court, frisbee golf course and basketball court. Shared recreation, dock, and boat launch make this a great rental for a large group of family and friends looking to explore the Lake Chelan Valley by water craft, bike, foot, or car! Conveniently located walking distance from: the sandy beach on the river, acres of grassy community waterfront area, clubhouse with foosball & pool table, pool, tennis, boat launch, & more! Located in a quiet resort community about 13 miles from Orondo, this home sits right on the shores of the Columbia River. Gather your comrades for a game of pickleball, tennis or basketball, or enjoy a cookout in the community picnic area. The pool is a great place to cool off midday.

The house itself sits on a beautifully landscaped lot, with a generous, covered balcony to take in the water and mountain views and entertain. Amenities include wireless internet that will allow you to access your Netflix, Amazon tv, and sling accounts on the flat screen TV. The open-concept is comprised of a cozy living space and a fully-stocked kitchen for cooking up delicious meals. BBQ on the deck & serve food al fresco on the patio, then gather around the living area for or a movie night. Or forgo technology for an evening of lawn games with your loved ones and enjoy the stars. This three-bedroom, two-bathroom home can sleep up to 8 guests. This home also comes equipped with A/C and a washer/dryer.

Golfing is just 5 miles up the road at Desert Canyon! Head into the city of Chelan just a short drive away. Lake Chelan offers golfing, miniature golf, go carts, boat launch, ā€œLady of the Lakeā€ Ferry, movies, bowling, and parasailing! Wenatchee offers ice skating, semi pro hockey, semi pro soccer, and the Wenatchee Apple Blossom festival! Sun Cove is famous for its 4th of July Celebration with a golf cart parade, dunk tank, water slides, picnic and epic firework display - seriously a great show! Folks also enjoy: skiing at Mission Ridge; Dirt Bike and ATV trails in the area; Jet ski and Boat Rentals at Lincoln Rock; Leavenworth for Oktoberfest, Christmas, and summer concerts; the gorge is just down the river; Boating, fishing, water skiing and kayaking in the Columbia too.

Trips to Lake Entiat are ultra-convenient from this location - just hop aboard your water craft, or drive down to Daroga State Park. Take tours of wineries, or hike the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Or spend your days on the balcony of your rental with plates of local fruit. Home is a short drive to Chelan for dining and shopping, minutes away from the world class Desert Canyon Golf course and restaurant as well as Rocky Pond Winery, and about 20 miles from Wenatchee.

Great Family Rental!

The photos of this vacation home seriously doesn't do it any justice! We were super comfortable here and the kid is already talking about coming back and maybe making this a yearly visit. So much to see and do. Had "snow" much fun! May try to come back during the summer to take advantage of all the water fun to be had!

6 Day Stay

We stayed at this house for a week of boating on Lake Entait. The location of the property was great, pretty close to the river. The house was not very clean and needs some TLC. The couch foot broken, the carpets are stained and thereā€™s a lot of dead bugs on window sills. Luckily the bathrooms and kitchen were clean.

Fantastic experience and location

Location, house and amenities were perfect for our weekend get away. Being close enough to Lake Chelan and Wenatchee if you need anything, but having an area on a quieter part of the water was ideal. The house was clean and spacious, and was just as advertised. What I was most impressed with was the communication and customer service of the team!! They were wonderful to work with and very responsive to email, and when we ran into a road closure due to a wild fire, very helpful and assisted to ensure we would still be able to enjoy our weekend. Would defiantly return!!

Comfortable home

This house was perfect for our young teens. The bunk bed room felt like a dorm room. The pool and rec room were a definite bonus! We spent one day at Slidewaters Park only a 20 minute drive. The kids had a great time!

Mountain Views!

Neat little spot next to the water with great views and a great deck! We spent most of our time outside, however there was plenty of room inside to relax and enjoy ourselves!

One of the most beautiful homes weā€™ve stayed at.

This is an incredible location with great views and access to the Columbia river and lake Chelan. This home has everything you need and more and we hope to stay here again soon. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Chelan area.

Great Place But Inconvenient for Boats

The property itself was excellent. Great furniture, linens, very clean, great outdoor area and extremely responsive owners. I would give this a 5 but we were under the impression there was a place to moor our boats given the pictures of the property. This is not the case. The boats need to be taken in and out of the water and parked back up on the house property every time you take them out. Because we had two boats with towing vehicles, this made things very tricky and complicated. We would have boated much more if it would have been more convenient. Also, parking permits were a must if you park anywhere besides the property you rent. It was made clear to us by a couple neighbors and the Sun Cove personal that renters are not encouraged nor particularly wanted. I understand why they have the rules they have, I just wish we would have known about them before renting the property. Full disclosure is always best.

Nice but could use a little help

There was a wasp nest on the deck so it was not usable. The beds were so uncomfortable we were fighting over the couch. The rest of the house was great, good size, good amenities and well taken care of.

Really nice house

We loved most everything about this property. I think our only complaints are the shower head in the upstairs bathroom and like any basement it was much cooler downstairs than upstairs. It was perfectly located in between Chelan and Wenatchee where our activities were. The amenities that Sun Cove has to offer were great to. We definitely recommend this house!

Great Getaway!

Beautiful house and property! We felt very much at home and enjoyed spending all our time playing in the snow. The house was clean and has a perfect layout for entertaining. (Next time we'll have to bring the whole family!) This was our first time renting a house for vacation and after our experience here I don't think we will go back to staying in a hotel!
