There are many small repairs that needed to be done. Several times had asked for them to turn on the hot water. Lot of the extra curricular activity equipment needed to be repaired and/or updated. But the staff was great!

Everyone, if there is one and only one review to read - it's this one. I saw some very bad reviews before booking, but was optimistic and figured some over privileged people were angry because something small happened. This place is hands down the worst place I've ever seen or been to, and should be shut down immediately. The website lies about everything, there are 3 bars but only 1 was open - only half of a restaurant - the pictures are from 20 years ago when this was a decent place. Everything is outdated, NO WATER - could not take a shower, the food was HORRIBLE, everything was an inconvenience for the staff when you asked for ANYTHING. Most importantly, no one cared.... like, they all lie to you - asked where something to eat was and multiple workers said they didn't know, even though they were eating. If you miraculously get a drink from the bar, be prepared to bring all of your cups/dishes back to the bar - they get REALLY angry if they have to pick anything up. Don't bring your wife or girlfriend, because there are no rules with how aggressive the staff can be towards females. Don't bother trying to get in the ocean, because you can't. There really is no beach, all of the sand is pretty much gone so unless you enjoy sitting on concrete, you won't be there. The pool is not clean, and don't ask the staff for a towel because you won't get one. Travelocity should be embarrassed and remove this place from a place you can book, you will be miserable - do NOT stay here.

This was my second visit. Unfortunately it will be my last. I booked a superior room that was advertised as over looking the pool with sea view. Instead i was placed in a cornor room that overlooked the entertainment area. There was no hot water and i had to use a bucket to flush the toilet. I reported the matter and was promised that someone would come check on it but no one did. The television had 6 channels in the evening but the next morning there was only one local channel. The bathroom was dark and dingy and furniture old and dirty at the base. The food tasted really good, but There was a limited choice of food. On the other hand the grounds was quiet and relaxing and staff quite pleasant.

Nothing.The pipes in the bathroom are broken this includes the shower pipes and face basin . The furniture are old . No proper mat at beside. Refrigerator is rusty. Drapes are horrible. The rooms and bathroom need a complete make over .I saw a cat in the dining area.For cats lick things eg cutlery etc unacceptable.The complete building should be demolished .Things have changed too old. Sometimes we have to get new things in order to do well.The containers serving the food should be thrown away and be replaced with new ones.You should not ask for review because you know that the hotel is below Zero.Lookin for the day when That building will be demolished.

The property is ancient and "run down". It badly needs renovation to be on par with other facilities that can boast an "all inclusive" stay. I hope the management pays attention to the constructive criticisms that are offered.

No entertainment , no guest the place need a upgrade and new menu and new marketing with airlines like tui airways uk and all the amercans airlines .the beach is fine . But need a price drop to a 2 star untill the above is done . The hotel is charging the ssme as the riu , this is not practical This property needs manageing

The property has a lot of potential but the facilities need to be upgraded. It is supposed to be all inclusive but only the bare minimum amenities were provided ie: tissue and soap. The food offering was also very limited and seemingly restricted. This was not an all inclusive experience at all.

Staff was super cordial. They made every effort to make sure i was satisfied. The property could use some sprucing up, but that is not a reflection of the staff. I believe the property owner needs to give his hard working crew the support they need to update the property to be able to continue creating magic. Overall property is in a prime location with awesome views, but the team is working with what they have.

On arrival we were served a fermented friuit punch along with hotdogs served with stale bread and old lettuce leaves.Staff was friendly but the accommodation is terrible. They also try with the food AC is working well There is good water pressure but the bath needs to be scrubbed. The bath towels seemed to need washing. Only bath soap is provided.The refrigerator in the room was not stocked and no drinking water was provided.

Horrible Experience!!!

Shut it down! Roaches, no hot water, dirty pool, building falling apart, filthy curtains and bed shirt, filthy tiles grout, stray cats, empty almost abandoned property, everything outdated and falling apart or out of service. Absolute Horrible experience. Stayed because I had no phone service to call to request a refund. Felt like I was stranded there.

The property is a beautiful place, stayed there 10yrs ago and booked again just from my expericene from then. Didnt read the recent reviews. This trip was very disappointing. The property is run down. I wanted my money back right away. But all the other hotels in the area were booked. And they dont give refunds. Talking to the staff, which was wonderful, Tom @ the front desk.. we decided to make the best off it. Since we practically had the property to our selves, as hardley anyone was there. But will not recommend or stay here again. This property needs a major face lift. The staff did the best they can with what they had to work with, but the owner of the propetry does not care. We were skeptical about using the, beach, pool, hot tub, as everything three didnt look maintained or was broken. We had to leave the property to find a nice beach. Luckly there we plenty free beaches near by. But for what we payed we shouldnt have to go elsewhere. Puerto Seco beach down the street rivived my spirit, although it was $20u.s to get in. The AC in the disco was broken & leaking, almost fell from the water. There was no water pressure in the shower head. This is no longer a 3 star hotel. The Aumbiance has left this Club. This is like a motel, u stop at, when u have a long journey just to rest. Not a vacation spot . or if u just want somewhere to get away from the hustle & bustle of the big city.

What I like about the property is itā€™s clean and has a lots of relaxing areas, the view is beautiful. What I donā€™t like is the looks of bathroom and some of the furnitures, they need to renovate the property and advertise, so they can bring in more guests. Over all itā€™s a very relaxing property.

The hot tub did not work the shower did not work the furniture was in bad shape very little activity in the resort no pick up from the airport the bus was late taking me back to the airport
