Close to the beach!

Nice spot close to Chesterman Beach (South). A short walk that even our little kids could manage. Was great for our surf trip.

Excellent beach location, less than ideal accommodation.

The location of this townhouse was amazing, being only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. However, we found the accommodation to be quite dated and badly in need of a renovation and a thorough spring cleaning. The oven and refrigerator were not fully functional and there was a pervasive odour of decay, not unlike an old damp basement. For example, there was a rancid odour that emanated from the kitchen drains and cabinets that the cleaners tried to mask with lots of bleach. Also, the carpet in the bedroom had an unpleasant frowsy smell that permeated the room and made it difficult to fall asleep at night. Given the prime beachfront location, the owners would be very wise to consider refreshing and updating the overall presentation of this lovely townhome.

Cozy. Condo 3 minute walk to Beach

Older condo and furnishings, clean and equipped with everything you need. Easy access to Tofino, bike trails and South Chesterman Beach. Excellent communication with property manager.

We have stayed here many times but not like this. On arrival the suite was untouched as far any cleaning towels beds garbage etc. We contacted the manager who found a cleaner and after arriving for a 5:00 checkin did not get in it till 8:15.

Good location close to beach

The location was great, and we liked the way the place was decorated. However, the bedroom smelled like teenage boys. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and most of the linens were not very clean. That bedroom needs a new carpet, new bed, new sheets, curtains, comforter and pillows, and a deep professional cleaning. We stayed at two other houses o. This trip that were less expensive and way better appointed and clean! Loved the close walk to the beach though!

Excellent location!

Was a great location but a few things at the condo could be improved. The pillows on the bed are very 'tired', some shampoo & conditioner would have been nice, the ice machine was broken in the fridge alrhough there were a few trays in the freezer. We like lots of ice for our beverages so we went into town to buy a bag of ice. The washing machine had old laundry left in it as well as the dryer which had a bunch of towels in it from the previous clients. The great location was definitely the highlight!!

Fabulous Retreat

The location is amazing and the complex is really quiet and peaceful. The unit was clean and well stocked. Very comfortable to stay in- we didn’t want to leave! It was great being so close to the beach. Would absolutely stay here again!

So wonderful to come back to stay at this lovely, very cozy condo where my husband & I fell in love.

Very warm when we checked in late on the cold winter evening. Very easy to contact the host. Everything thing was the same as remembered from our stay in 2006.

Tofino retreat

We’ve stayed here a number of times and find it the perfect place for a few days of retreat from urban life. Well-appointed with easy access to South Chesterman beach, it feels like our “home away from home.” We will be back!

Perfect Location on South Chesterman Beach

My spouse and I have been to Tofino many times and the location of this unit is awesome. It’s a quick walk to the beach and you are away from the noise. It was our toddler’s first time at Tofino and the unit was perfect for him. He wasn’t able to destroy anything and there was plenty of hooks out front to hang his clothes that got soaked at the beach. He loved running on Chesterman Beach. This rental is perfect for a family of 4 or 2 couples. Caretaker was always available to assist us with any needs.
