Superb 100 m2 duplex apartment on the 5th floor (no elevator) in the heart of old Nice. The effort involved in climbing the 5 flights of stairs is amply rewarded on arrival in the apartment. The vast living room (35m2) is a particularly welcoming space, with a sofa bed. The bay window opens onto a vast 30m2 west-facing terrace offering a 180° view over the rooftops of the old town, with a beautiful view of the cathedral, the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. Nice's climate means you can enjoy the terrace in any season (table, deckchairs, sun blinds...). The main floor (5th) features a fully-equipped kitchen (electric hob, dishwasher, oven, fridge-freezer), a double bedroom with rooftop views, and a bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. A spiral staircase leads down to the 2nd bedroom with double bed, next to a bathroom with corner bath, WC and washing machine. Wifi is available free of charge in the apartment, as is a television.

Authentic Old Town Nice

We loved it; the apartment satisfied all our needs, and the rooftop terrace was a very special spot, from early morning until dusk/evening, as we watched the swallows circle around the neighborhood, and as the skies darkened and the new moon emerged.

Très belle terrasse sur les toits du Vieux Nice et la mer

Un septième ciel (ou presque) qui se mérite mais la terrasse vaut largement ce petit exercice physique (qui nous fait aussi brûler des calories pour compenser toutes les spécialités du marché Saleya dévorées pendant notre séjour). La climatisation pendant cette période estivale est un vrai plus. La proximité de la mer, de la promenade du Paillon, du château (vue sur la cascade!) en ont fait un super point de départ de nos journées Niçoises et un remarquable point de chute pour des soirées rooftops très sympas. Merci à Marie pour l’accompagnement bienveillant à distance et l’accueil sympathique sur place de Zouzou.

très bonnes vacances

petit déjeuner tous les jours sur une très belle terrasse. Climatisé dans toutes les pièces et c est vraiment appréciable à Nice. Calme. Par contre pas trop fait pour les grands car des poutres assez basses.Très bon séjour.

Fantastisk beliggenhed og vidunderlig tagterrasse med vue over by og hav. Vieux Nice SÅ hyggelig.

Bedre kan man ikke bo i Nice - meget fransk og autentisk. Det er hårdt at komme op på 5. sal men det er det hele værd. God indretning og prikken over i’et er så absolut tagterrassen, hvor al liv foregår. Det er et must at komme tilbage, og man får meget for prisen.

Perfekt beliggenhed og skøn terrasse

Vi var 3 voksne der boede i lejligheden 5 dag i juli. Alt fungerede perfekt. Terrassen var fantastisk både morgen og aften. Alt ligger lige i nærheden og vi kunne gå rundt til alt. Lejligheden er veludstyret og sengene er fine. Ingen nattelarm på trods af den centrale placering.

Terrasse mit herlichem Blick über Nizza.

Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und hat einen eigenen Charme. Die 5 Etagen waren einfacher zu überwinden als gedacht. Die Nächte waren sehr ruhig, ein nahegelegens Pub schliest um 24 Uhr. Das absolute highlight ist die grosse Terasse mit Sonne den ganzen Tag und Ausblick über die Stadt bzw. den Stadtberg. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sicher zurück.

A very special place over the roofs of Vieux Nice

We visited Nice with 5 persons and had a fantastic stay. The roof terrace is a very special place we enjoyed sitting there and we loved the view over nice. You can see the old town, the ocean and the hills from there. And even the first day it rained you have a fantastic view through the very big window in the living room. Nice gives lots of possibilities to love the stay. Communication with Marie and her father you was there to introduce us was very kind and easy. So all in all perfect stay thanks a lot and we hope to come back one day.

Wunderschön !! Über den Dächern von Nizza !!

Wir waren zu fünft und hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Nizza. Die Wohnung liegt nahezu perfekt inmitten der wunderschönen Altstadt mit ihren engen Gassen. Man kann alles fußläufig innerhalb von ein paar Minuten erreichen, das Meer, die Promenade, das Chateu mit dem Aussichtspunkt. Den Hafen mit der Bushaltestelle für den Bus nach Monaco. Es lohnt sich für einen Tag mit dem Bus die traumhafte Küstenstraße entlang nach Monaco zu fahren. Die Wohnung geht über 2 Etagen , das Highlight ist definitiv die Dachterasse mit traumhaftem Blick über die Altstadt, zum Meer und in die Berge. Aber auch das Wohnzimmer mit dem riesigen Fenster zur Terasse hat Charme. Es ist ein Altbau und das weiß man ja beim Mieten und die Fotos sind absolut zutreffend beschreibend. Der tägliche Gang durchs Treppenhaus fördert die Fitness... für uns jedenfalls war es ein absoluter Volltreffer, genau was wir wollten. Der Kontakt vorab mit Marie und die Schlüsselübergabe durch ihren sehr netten Vater waren unkompliziert und gut. Wir kommen gern wieder !

Another amazing stay!

Our family are return guests to this fabulous and charming apartment. We couldn't wait to stay again this year and experience the outstanding views from the roof terrace. The apartment is well equipped and extremely spacious, light and airy. Very comfortable to lounge inside as well as outside. The kitchen is compact with a big fridge and plenty of cookware and accessories. Dealing with Marie and her father is always a pleasure. Both are extremely hospitable, kind and quick to respond to any communication. The only thing guests need to be aware of is the climb up the stairs to the top. But if you're fit you won't have a problem, we had our 76 year old grandfather with us, which he managed with no problem. Already looking at dates for our next stay. Thanks again.... See you again soon!

Urlaub inmitten der Nizzaer Altstadt

Ferienwohnung, die inmitten der wunderbaren Altstadt liegt, große Dachterrasse, die einen wunderbar über den Dächern von Nizza träumen lässt. Wohnung selbst hat Charme, allerdings muss man über viele Schwachstellen hinwegsehen (Kanalgeruch, Zustand der Toiletten und Bäder, Sauberkeit, fürchterliches Treppenhaus).

Tolle Wohnung mitten in der Altstadt

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem süßen Apartment. Wir waren zu viert und hatten wirklich viel Platz, da die Wohnung 2 Schlafzimmer und ein Wohnzimmer bietet. Die Wohnung ist schön und liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt!! Das Highlight ist die riesige Dachterasse mit einem traumhaften Blick über die Dächer von Nizza! Die Wohnung liegt mitten in der Altstadt, man kann also in wenigen Minuten diverse Restaurants, Bars und Geschäfte erreichen! Der Strand ist ebenso in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Schlüsselübergabe hat perfekt funktioniert! Vielen Dank für einen wunderbaren Urlaub in Nizza! Die Wohnung war ein absoluter Volltreffer!!

Superbe !

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable entre amis dans ce bel appartement. Situé au cœur du Vieux Nice, nous avons pu profiter de toutes les activités alentours sans problème. La vue de la grande terrasse fait également rêver. Bref, tout est réuni pour passer un moment agréable, qu'il soit court ou long ! Merci encore pour l'accueil. Camille

Vacation 2016

We have a pleasent stay in NICE. The flat on the top of the house was ok, even after climbing all theese stairs. The terasse was beautiful, great view of old Nice. BUT no mattresses on the sunbeds, or chairs. We contacted the owner, but she wasn`t intrested to help us. It seem to me that she only want my money. If the flat had been prepaird for us. Mattresses, some flowers, solving problems for us, we could have a beautiful stay. Kjell Knutsen Norway

Schöne Altbauwohnung und sehr zentral

Die Altbauwohnung liegt super zentral in der schönen Altstadt und nicht weit vom Strand entfernt. Wir haben vor allem die tolle Dachterasse über den Dächern von Nizza sehr genossen. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Der Empfang war pünktlich und freundlich. Die 88 Stufen zur Wohnung waren ein guter sportlicher Ausgleich. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man den Charme des Altbaus mag.

tres bien

nous avons passé un excellent séjour. un peu sportif pour acceder à l'appartement mais quel bonheur quand on y est! nous avons profité de la terrasse très bien orientée sur les toits du vieux nice. l'appartement est spacieux,' confortable, calme la nuit ,et au pied des commerces.nous le recommandons aux vacanciers valides.

Spacious Apartment with Large Rooftop Terrace in Excellent Location in Vieux Nice

This is an excellent apartment for two couples with two double bedrooms on separate floors with the ability to have our own toilet and shower (and bath in the downstairs room). The apartment is at the very top of the building but the climb is well worth it for the large rooftop terrace with excellent views and enough space for al fresco dining and sunbathing. There is a washing machine and dishwasher and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking any kind of meal. The location in the old town is excellent and allows you to walk everywhere. Restaurants, bars and shops are all at hand but the apartment itself is on a quiet street which allowed undisturbed sleep. Olivier, Marie's father, met us on arrival and explained everything and made sure we were settled. He told us to phone him if we had any issues but we had none. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Agéable et accueillant, tout à fait conforme à l'annonce

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cet appartement, qui dispose d'amples espaces communs ( salon, terrasse) pour pouvoir vivre ensemble en famille ou entre amis sans être reclus dans des chambres. La description de l' appartement dans l'annonce est tout à fait fidèle à la réalité observée. L'appartement est parfaitement situé et a du charme. Il est caractéristique du vieux Nice, et la vue de la terrasse est magnifique; le salon est lumineux, aussi ne faut il pas se surprendre d'avoir à monter des escaliers raides et nombreux ( ce qui est simplement à signaler pour ceux qui auraient des problèmes de mobilité, ou en tenir compte pour les bagages). La construction est elle aussi caractéristique du vieux Nice, avec un appartement "récupéré" sous et sur les toits; l'isolation thermique n'est pas extraordinaire mais nous n'avons eu aucun problème de chauffage ( étant venus en hiver) et nous supposons que la climatisation fera des merveilles en été. Pour le reste l'appartement est silencieux. La chambre située en contrebas de l'appartement est un peu sombre ( mais elle est vaste), mais elle sera sans doute plus fraiche en été. Nous avons été bien accueillis et gardons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour.

In der Alttstadt von Nizza

Die Wohnung liegt zentral in der Altstadt, sodass man in wenigen Minuten den Burgberg erreicht wie auch die anderen interessanten Punkte der Stadt. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man mit mehreren Personen benötigt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, das Wohnzimmer ist großzügig gehalten und verfügt über einen Esstisch wie über eine Couchgruppe und führt auf die große Sonnenterrasse hinaus. Die Begrüßung des Vermieters war freundlich, er hat uns die Wohnung super erklärt. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Wonderful stay

Great find right in the center of the old town. 87 steps but well worth the view and fantastic outside space to enjoy. Lovely and clean with everything you need supplied. Marie was quick to reply and the check in etc went very smoothly.
