Great location in the old city. Very handy walking to restaurants etc. Has a washing machine which was handy but you need to take them to the nearby laundry to dry them. Double glazing cut out all of the street noise.

Perfect stay

Place and location couldn’t be better. For our family and our 11 nights stay, the apartment was excellent. Kitchen is big, has everything you need, two bathrooms, good size bed and very comfortable. Thank you Val. Val was very helpful every step of the way. From here is very easy to get acces to tram or bus. I sincerely recommend.

Love the view!

My daughter and I stayed here and absolutely loved the balcony and people watching each day. The apartment was spacious and clean and Val was a super responsive host. One thing to note, as others have mentioned, with the incredible location comes some restrictions - as you have to walk a bit to get a taxi.

First time in Nice

My husband and I loved our time in Nice. The property was an excellent location for restaurants and day trips. We enjoyed taking the tram to the train station and walking around old town. The night life was a bit loud each evening when we were ready to turn in however we loved sitting on the balcony to drink wine and people watch before heading out to dinner. Now off to St Remy!

Great location in old town

Stayed for 3 nights with my young adult children and thoroughly enjoyed the apartment. The central location, view from balcony, air conditioning and 2 separate bathrooms with showers were perfect. Would definitely stay here again!

Location was amazing!! The apartment looks exactly as it does in pictures. One thing to callout is vehicles are not allowed to drive down to the square so you’ll have to carry luggage down a few blocks but if you get dropped off by the Librairie/Jean Jacques it’s an easy 2 block walk. The stairs at the building could be challenging to some with larger bags but overall amazing stay. Val was great and responded to any questions we had immediately.

An extreme disappointment

I’ve traveled extensively across Europe and have always had positive experiences with hosts—until now. Unfortunately, this was by far the most disappointing and frustrating experience I’ve had.The host was unresponsive and discourteous throughout our stay. Despite the check-out time and entry code being communicated via SMS, the host consistently failed to respond to multiple text messages and calls. This lack of communication was not only inconvenient but became extremely distressing when my sister experienced a medical emergency. Even in that urgent situation, we received no reply.We spent hours walking around town trying to locate someone who knew the host. Thankfully, we came across the team at BagGuys—two kind individuals who went above and beyond. They repeatedly called the host, his mother, and his brother until someone finally got through. It was only then that the host responded to us, and when he did, he was incredibly rude, showed no empathy, and never once apologized.To make matters worse, the apartment itself was in poor condition. The floors were dirty enough to turn our feet black, there were used towels left outside, trash still inside the unit, and even stains on the pillows. When we finally got inside, his only comment was to “enjoy my incredible apartment”—a comment that felt dismissive and insulting given the circumstances.There were no instructions provided for check-in or check-out, and even after the stay, we received no communication or apology

Excellent stay in old Nice

This was the most fantastic stay of our holiday in France, mostly because of the well-equipped apartment and it's terrific location.The apartment itself was one of the largest we stayed in. The main bed sleeps strictly 2, but the living room sofas each can accommodate a 5'9 adult and they were comfortable to sleep in. Plenty of spare linen. Having 2 bathrooms was a luxury. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could think of to cook for our family. The double-glazed windows kept the noise out for the major part of our stay, but on an especially noisy night, I did get woken up.About the location. Downstairs from the apartment puts 100s of restaurants, nifty mini-marts, souvenir stores, pharmacies, ATMs within easy reach. The tram and bus stops are a 4-5 min walk away, and they connect you to the train station as well as other places in the Cote d'azur. Bigger shopping stores on the jean-medecin avenue are also similarly placed. And then, you could easily reach the wonderful Cours-Saleya market for fresh produce, flea markets, the promenade, or reach the castle hill. Even our 6 year old looked forward to the daily walks to all these places since everything was so conveniently located. Although there is no parking in old town Nice, or a way for cabs to get you our luggage closer to the apartment, the Rue Centrale is an easy sloping stroll with luggage.Finally, Val was responsive over vrbo, with clear instructions on check-in. Merci Val !

Excellent location and great host

The location is unbeatable, the property is very cozy and the host is excellent. Their communication is very fast and reliable. The only issue we had was that the internet connection was slow, but we worked around it by purchasing a mobile data SIM card.

Perfect location

Although the entry stairwell is a bit sketchy, the apartment above is well worth it. Sitting on the balcony in the evening and watching the activity in Rossetti place square was great. Washing machine has a 14 minute cycle, so you can do a quick wash in the morning and have it hanging before you go out to tour around. Bed was on the firm side, as was the couch for sleeping. Would stay here again though

First time to Nice

My daughter and I came to Nice for her senior spring break, it was our first time to Europe. We were very happy with the location of this apartment, close to everything. It was beautiful, exactly as shown in photos! It was a short walk to the tram and bus stations, and we walked the little streets of Old Town Nice every night. Close to the market, so many delicious restaurants and bars… we would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Staraordinaria posizione pulizie decisamente da migliorare.

Le mie priorità nella valutazione di un appartamento sono posizione- igiene- servizi - accoglienza.Ottima posizione, vicinissima. A Cours Saleya e quindi a Quai des Etats Unis. Appartamento di charme , antico e moderno allo stesso tempo , ben illuminato ben arredato e ben equipaggiato adatto a famiglie o amici con una buona confidenza poiché le stanze sono passanti pur essendoci due bagni indipendenti. Bagni molto carini letti comodi anche il divano letto in sala. Non ci sono armadi se non uno in cucina. L’immobile è antico e l’ingresso poco accogliente, posto al secondo piano ma facile.PULIZIA Ho dato tre stelle alla pulizia perché il frigorifero è stato lasciato pieno di cibo non deteriorabile ma aperto. Il livello e il prezzo dell’immobile non è quello di un ostello quindi l’accuratezza nelle pulizie deve essere migliorata e garantita a tutti gli ospiti.SERVIZI bene la connessione a Internet. Noi eravamo in tre ma il boiler non regge 3 docce.ACCOGLIENZA Host molto disponibile , purtroppo abbiamo dovuto contattarlo più di una volta. Non l’abbiamo mai visto/a ma ha sempre risposto in modo molto gentile.Qualche informazione in più sul parcheggio e mezzi di trasporto ci avrebbe evitato perdite di tempo ma per quello ci si arrangia. Quindi consiglio di riservare il parcheggio on Line perchè in questo modo avrete uno sconto, (altrimenti 30 al giorno) il parcheggio è a 200 metri circa e dovrete attraversare alcuni vicoli quindi no borsoni a mano.

Even better than pictured!

We couldn't have been happier with this apartment for our stay in Nice! It had everything we needed and then some! The location can't be beat! It was so convenient to everything we wanted to do, and the view is just spectacular! It was spacious and modern, and we loved all the natural light from the windows. Everything was comfy, and it was so nice that our daughter had her own bathroom. I am big on ironing, and the iron was top notch! We didn't have any issues, and Val was great at communicating. Maybe it's because it was cold outside, but we didn't have any noise issues from outside. We loved our stay there, and we would definitely highly recommend!!
