Once a haven for the Plymouth Co-operative Society's pigs, Otter's Cottage has transformed from a 1960s farmworker's cottage into a luminous and spacious holiday retreat. This welcoming home comfortably sleeps ten guests across its five beautifully appointed bedrooms, including two king-sized rooms (one with an en suite), two twins, and a unique room with offset single beds. Conveniently, two of these rooms are on the ground floor, catering to those who prefer fewer stairs. The residence boasts three modern bathrooms, one of which features a vintage roll-top bath.

The heart of the cottage is its open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space, bathed in natural light and warmed by a cosy wood burner. The grand, handcrafted kitchen table is a centrepiece, accommodating up to 16 diners; perfect for guests wishing to book multiple cottages yet dine collectively.

Outside, a generous sun-drenched garden beckons, leading to a picturesque wildflower meadow and a delightful children's play area, where Alys the tractor awaits young adventurers.

Guests have access to a shared wildflower meadow, orchard, and play area. For those enthusiastic about tennis, there is a hard court tennis facility, pre-bookable on arrival with one hour slots. (Please bring your own tennis rackets and balls!)

You will be pampered with hotel-quality white bed linen, plush towels, tea-towels, bath mats, and environmentally friendly cleaning materials. To enhance your arrival experience, your hosts provide delicious local organic milk in the fridge, along with ample recycled paper toilet rolls, Fair Trade tea, coffee, sugar, and local organic herbal tea - an invitation to immerse yourself in a world of indulgence from the moment you step through the door.
