Large open plan living area comprising kitchen/ dining and living room. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need including a gas cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher, toaster and microwave. There are enough sofas, armchairs and dining for 10 guests. There are French windows to a patio area at the front with seating and a BBQ.

On the ground floor there are two bedrooms with level access. One is a large room with a king size bed and a sofa with enough space for an extra bed or cot, the en-suite bathroom is accessed down a few steps. The other bedroom is a double room with en-suite bathroom and separate front door. On the first floor there are three bedrooms: One is a double with access to a separate three bed children’s room and bathroom, the other is a twin room with en-suite bathroom.

Cottage

A really lovely find, just right for our family and dog. The swimming pool went down well with everyone. Well equipped kitchen and also a couple of treats left for us. Friendly owners would definitely visit again

Great holiday

Really loved the location very well equipped we had everything we needed. The only disappointment was that the games room was shut quite often it would have been nice for the children in the groop if it had been open a little more. It would also have been better for us if there had been a gate on the outside space. But other than that it was perfect.

Tolle Lage, tolles Haus!

Wir haben eine wundervolle Zeit im Haus verbracht, ausreichend Platz für zwei Familien, prima Schwimmbad, freundlicher und fröhlicher Empfang durch Theresa (?), insgesamt eine sehr gepflegte Anlage in toller, ruhiger Lage oberhalb von Cawsand!

Family get together

The property was large enough for our party of 9 Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate all of us comfortably for the weekend. Clean and tidy. Definitely would stay again.

Short stay

Lovely location Cawsand only a short walk away House was clean and tidy on arrival Some parts of the house are dated and in need of modernisation. Children enjoyed the pool though it was not clear that we needed to pre-book slots. We were lucky that we went at the end of August and the other cottages did not use the pool as much.

Family holiday 3 generations

Loads of space for 3 generations both in the house and around the grounds, made great use of pool and tennis court. Superbly equipped kitchen and living areas, comfortable beds. We had everything we needed for a great family get together. 20 minute walk to lovely quiet beach and other beautiful places within a short drive. Very hilly area for walking!

Good family holiday home

Hosts were wonderful, very welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was just as described in the listing, plenty of room for us all. Beds were lovely and comfortable and everything was nice and clean. Pool and games room were a lovely touch and were much appreciated by our family. The only negative we could find was the location. The lane leading up to the accommodation was extremely narrow only wide enough for 1 car. This took a lot of getting used to for me, but I was ok by the end of the week. There are lovely cliff walks and secluded beaches to discover. The nearest villages are very small but nice. We had a very nice lunch in a pub in Cawsand out hosts were able to advise us on places to eat which was very helpful.

Wringford Manor is the largest of 6 holiday cottages known as Wringford Cottages. We are located in the centre of the Rame Peninsula in south east Cornwall, locally known as ‘The Forgotten Corner’ of Cornwall. Rame Peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, known for its wildlife, tranquility and breathtaking scenery, but only 45 minutes from Plymouth. A short walk to the west of Wringford lies Whitsand Bay, famous for its sandy beaches and magnificent sea views. To the East lies the historic fishing villages of Cawsand and Kingsand with a beach and a number of welcoming pubs. The South West Coast Path to the south takes you around Rame Head, with magnificent views from the cliffs, passing the famous 11th century Monks Chapel. To the north, you pass through Mount Edgcumbe Park, 800 acres of beautiful parkland and stunning views over Plymouth Sound.
