Wonderful vacation in a wonderful villa

We stayed 8 grown ups in this beautiful villa near Seccagrande for a week. I read in some of the reviews before arriving that the house is even nicer than the pictures promise and can just agree. Especially the space and the nice finish in the remake (that was done 2017 if I understood it correctly) impressed us a lot. The pool area is amazing. Nice and big pool, good possibilities to sun bath, nice views over the field. The dining possibilities are even better, large tables that fits 8 people, a wonderful outdoor kitchen with an bbq that we frequently used to bbq swordfish, aubergine, peppers and other things from Sicilys own kitchens. Easy check in and good communication with the very polite and helpful owners was also nice. We would definietly return to this dream house.

Superb!!

The property was perfect in every way for our family, who consisted of 2 parents, 3 children over 18 plus 2 more 16 and under. The inside and outdoor space was perfect, the pool was amazing and the location was peaceful. Contact with the owner and host was easy and made the trip/stay so comfortable. We highly recommend this villa.

Great stay

We were a group of 8 and we had an amazing stay. There were a few early season hiccups but the host was fantastic and addressed everything super quickly. Highly recommend as an amazing get away.

Geweldige villa met absolute privacy!

Echt een prachtige villa emt een heerlijke tuin en zwembad. Goed uitgeruste keuken ,vier ruime slaapkamers en badkamers en lekker netflixen op de bank was ook nog mogelijk! Prima gelegen met op korte afstand archeologische sites en prachtige strandjes.

Stunning Property

As you drive through the gate you will be amazed by the beauty of this property. The owners have attended to every detail. The gardens are beautiful, the outdoor space is fabulous and the pool is inviting. The only concern was that the fourth bedroom was up a windy, steep staircase. Not ideal for couples in their 70’s. There are three bedrooms on the main floor but one is much smaller than the other two. The indoor space is lovely and bright with great air conditioning. The kitchen is small but works well for preparing meals when staying home in the evening. Great location for visiting tourist attractions in the surrounding area if you are happy with driving. We even drove to Palermo easily for a day. Thanks for a great stay.

Fabulous villa and pool!

A spacious, comfortable villa with everything you might need for your stay. We spent many happy hours in the pool, relaxing in the beautiful surroundings and playing table tennis. The BBQ is great and was well used. A truly wonderful week away!

Fantastic villa

The villa is even better than the pictures,very decent bedrooms, all ensuite, nicely decorated living area, the outside area and the swimming pool are absolute winners, and our favourite- table tennis! Just perfect setting for family holidays The place is quiet but not isolated there are 3 restaurants within 1 km and beautiful beaches within 10 min drive The owner was extremely helpful and easy to contact, all the advices were sound We loved the place and the atmosphere

Empfehlenswert!

Das Objekt war für unsere Reisegruppe (8 Personen) genau richtig. Die Küche ist allerdings recht klein und die Außenküche mit einem etwas klapprigen, sehr kleinen Gasgrill nicht wirklich adäquat ausgestattet. Ansonsten ist das Objekt nicht zu bemängeln. Der Pool ist ein Traum. Der Sohn des Eigentümers schaut regelmäßig vorbei. Mängel / Defekte wurden schnell behoben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

wonderful house, fantastic host

We had a fantastic week in this beautiful house. Gaspare was an outstanding host. We felt most welcome from the beginning. Gaspare made us feel home even before we arrived with his messages, with his choice of some food and drinks and with all his tips and helpful advice. We ended up at " coltello and forchetta" every other night and it became very special to us. It was our 5th time on Sicily and Dimora a Turri will keep a special place in our hearts because it was our home away from home- so well equipped and lovingly furnished- though we spent most of the time outside by the pool. Mille grazie !!!

Holiday at villa in Ribera

The house is lovely - beautiful garden and pool, well equipped and very comfortable. The house is not in Ribera - it is near to Seccagrande which is a rather rundown holiday resort but very Italian and friendly. We were there mid September so end of season and may be more charming in season. However the sea is gorgeous and we walked down from villa to swim every morning. For a relaxing holiday I would recommend this villa highly.

Superb villa with a fabulous pool in a great and convenient location

This superb house has been absolutely ideal for our 2 week summer holiday. We were a mix of 2 families - incorporating 2 couples, 2 teenagers and 2 younger children (age 8). Everything was ideal - the correspondence during and leading up to our holiday was great - we had quite a lot of questions and got quick answers back. The directions provided to the house were clear, and communication on our way to the house was fantastic. On arrival, we could immediately see that the villa was better than expected. The setting outside was great - the pool, patio and seating areas were fabulous. The first thing we noticed in the house was how clean it was, and that the sizes were better than the pictures showed. The configuration worked really well - three very generous double bedrooms on the first floor, and a very large double bedroom upstairs which was in the eaves room. Each bed was also on the large side, and all were very comfortable. In addition, 4 shower rooms was perfect with plenty of hot water. The kitchen facilities were excellent, and we made good use of the barbecue. There was a dining area and sitting area, however we were outside all day and all evening enjoying the terrace. We had a couple of questions during our stay and the owner, Gaspare, was very quick to reply and help. He called in to check the pool at the end of the first week and his team changed the bed linen and towels over. The air conditioning was also very effective , and certainly helped with the comfort in the evenings. The pool area was great - plenty of sun beds, tables and chairs for us all to laze around. There is good screening around the property and very quiet. You can see on the map that the villa is close to a main road and other reviews advised that this wasn't a problem - we would all agree with this. Occasionally we could hear traffic, but really was still such a quiet location with the advantage of having a good road network close by. There were plenty of beaches nearby - we didn't walk to our local one due to the house being up the hill and too hot for the children ! However, lovely beaches within a very short drive. Beautiful seas and sand. Plenty of amenities nearby - supermarkets and so on in easy reach. All in all, a great holiday location and would certainly recommend this lovely villa.

Große Villa - ideal für die große Familie

Wir waren als Familie (4 Kinder 7-14 Jahre) 2 Wochen Gast in der Villa und haben unsere Zeit sehr genossen. Durch die 4 Schlaf- und Badezimmer war mehr als ausreichend Platz. Auch die Aussenanlage mit der großen überdachten Terrasse und dem großen Pool sind super. Alles war sauber und gepflegt, auch der Kontakt zum Vermieter funktionierte einwandfrei. Die Lage der Villa ist etwas abgeschieden, 2-3 Villen in der Nachbarschaft, aber die direkte Umgebung lädt nicht zum Bummeln ein. Seccagrande ist sicher auch nicht der hübscheste Ferienort, hat jedoch eine kleine Strandpromenade mit ein paar Bars und Restaurants. Zum Baden gibt es viele schöne Strände, die in 10-20 min erreichbar sind. Neben den Tempeln in Agrigento gibt es noch ein paar andere schöne Ausflugsziele. Auch wenn Kleinigkeiten wie z.B. die Auflagen für Liegen nach dieser Saison erneuert werden sollten, können wir die Villa sehr empfehlen.

Good Place to cisit the west side of Sicily

The house and grounds are very good. Mosquito screens need repairs and main door to kitchen is very sticky. Location is just off highway, but noise is minimal. The owners could do well by having an English manual that explains the washing machine, dishwasher and so on. Overall, excellent.

Great host

A fabulous villa for a family holiday!

We arrived after dark and the sight of the villa all lit up was wonderful. The owners were waiting to greet us and were very welcoming. The villa more than met our expectations and was so comfortable and well equipped, down to the cot and high chair for our granddaughter. The grounds are spacious and the outside living area allowed for us all to have space to do what we liked without feeling on top of each other. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. A great choice for our family holiday. We made lots of great memories here and would definitely return.

Beautiful Villa

Our family of 9, 7 adults and 2 children stayed here and it was comfortable accommodations for us. The pool was great especially for the children's enjoyment. The outdoor space is beautiful and very much enjoyed. The house was clean and the owner welcomed us with a basket of local produce and fruit. They also had some items to get us started such as coffee and some breakfast items. We came to Sicily to meet family and they helped provide English speaking translators. The villa was lovely and the owners were very helpful. We greatly recommend this property to a larger group and if you have children. The four bedrooms and 4 bathrooms worked great for our group. We give the property five stars! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations.

Even more spacious than the photos suggest. Pool is long enough to swim in with plenty of space around it to sit in the sun on the loungers, the chairs and table, or the hammock. Lots of covered space for shade / in the evening with several tables and chairs, the largest of which sits 8 for a meal. Galley kitchen is well suited for holiday meals. Inside lounge is comfortable if you've had enough of being outside. Everything immaculately clean. Food and wine there on arrival was a nice touch. Owner was very helpful in providing advice on things to do. If we go back to Sicily we'll definitely go back here.

Fantastic holiday - Thank you so much

We arrived at the villa and were stunned by its beauty and the peaceful surroundings. Our gracious hosts met us and showed us around with instructions on how to use the kitchen gadgets. We were delighted with the villa, which is much nicer and more luxurious than the pictures show. Four large bedrooms housed our family incredibly well along with the inclusion of cot and high chair for our granddaughter. The garden is gorgeous with lemon, lime, fig and olive trees and it was a joy to watch the swallows swooping and coming down to the pool in the evenings for a drink. Dragon flies and damson flies were abundant and beautiful and certainly no bother - it was lovely to watch them. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and they certainly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and that we lacked for nothing. I would highly recommend this beautiful villa and we would love to return one day. Thank you to our hosts - we are very grateful for all your assistance.

Una Villa meravigliosa

Una Villa con il colore del sole. Pulita, comodo con una piscina stupenda. Gli dettagli sono fatti con gli occhi di una artista. La Villa è molto moderna che anche mantiene il cuore Siciliano.Siamo stati sei adulti per otto notte. Io sono viaggiato molte volte in Italia e anche la bella Sicilia. Questa casa è stata la più bella. Devo dire al Gaspare e la sua mamma Maria una grazie grande fra noi e sperò di ritornare. A dopo. Arrivederci Nicola (Nick) e compagni.

A lovely villa

Our family loved our stay in the Seccagrande villa. The property is as beautiful as the photos show and in pristine condition. The house was very well equipped and the accommodations were excellent for our large group (six adults). Our hosts were extremely helpful, responsive and gracious-- they were very welcoming and made our stay even more special.

Soggiorno meraviglioso in residenza lussuosa

Dimora a Turri è veramente una residenza di lusso. È per chi anche in vacanza non si vuole accontentare. È fornita di tutte le comodità, la cucina è attrezzatissimo i letti sono comodissimi anche i lettini aggiunti. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e si mettono a disposizione per qualunque cosa. Inoltre è vicinissima a luoghi meravigliosi quali la scala dei turchi, la valle dei templi, la meravigliosa Sciacca.La consiglio veramente a tutti e spero di poterci soggiornare di nuovo.
