Location, location, location

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Not the most modern apartment but it was well equipped. The location is 10/10. Amazing view from the terrace. Walking distance to everything. I would recommend this apartment to friends and family in the future.

Really good spacious apartment. Good location. Clean everywhere apart from the knives, forks and spoons. There was also a leak in a bathroom. The electricity cut off numerous time probably because of the leak. Good overall though

This property needs upgrading

This is a prime example of a property that could be/should be wonderful but, that isn't being maintained properly. The basics are all here - it's a good location close to the promenade and shopping/restaurants; its a good size; the kitchen has everything you might need; there's a big balcony with a peak at the ocean and, there's an elevator to get you up to the 6th floor happily. That said, this apartment needs a thorough cleaning- even the walls are greasy. The smell of mildew and sewer come through strongly (especially in the ensuite to the bedroom); and most of the furniture is so old its cracking (the large main chair in the living room), or sagging/old and sad looking. The bed needs replacing, it's 2 thin single bed mattresses that have seen much better days. Cluttering up the balcony are old, rusted pieces of furniture, dead plants still sitting in pots and faded old cushions for the loungers. During our stay, one of the big sliding glass windows in the bedroom was badly broken and taped together - we were told on arrival it wouldn't be fixed until after our stay. Finally, there were renovations going on upstairs (I believe the floors were being sanded and nailed down). The noise drove us out of the apartment for several days during our 'relaxing' holiday and have me a bad headache (the hammering went on and on). While I realize the manager had no control over the apartment above us, his lack of interest and non responsiveness (the owner didn't respond to my message either) says a lot about the level of care at this apartment. One final note - this area is very noisy at night. There is a nightclub across the street that gets going late and empties out at about 5 am; garbage (including bottles) gets picked up at midnight; and street work goes on all night. The windows to the apartment are not soundproof so sleeping can be difficult. We would most definitely NOT recommend this stay.

tolles Apartment in bester Lage

Ein wunderbar nah am Strand und der Altstadt gelegenes Apartment mit riesigem Balkon und seitlichem Meerblick; im Wohnbereich etwas abgewohnte Möbel und sanierungsbedürftiges Parkett; dafür 2 moderne Bäder mit großzügigen Duschen, ziemlich neue Küche mit extra nagelneu für uns gekaufter Nespressomaschine- alles insgesamt zum Wohlfühlen und Entspannen! In wenigen Minuten erreicht man Bus oder Bahn , direkt auf der anderen Strassenseite ist an 7 Tagen bis 20:30uhr ein Supermarkt mit extra Bäckerstand geöffnet- besser geht es kaum! Danke an den Vermieter und Pierre, welcher die problemlose Schlüsselübergabe erledigt hat.

Séjour agréable à Nice

Logement fonctionnel avec sa grande terrasse et ses 2 salles de bains. Le propriétaires et le gérant sont très serviables. Seul bémol le boulevard gambetta est bruyant le soir.

Worn out furniture - Great location

Good: Balcony view really enjoyable. Bad: You cannot find a place to sit comfortably. Furniture is so worn out that you feel the wood construction below the madrasses and you will not enjoy the small and old bed. The fridge and it’s door is the located so that if you are in the kitchen you cannot open the fridge door nor take food out. We had several more problems that are to be addressed after we left e.g. of the toilets and the washing machine didn’t work.

Great location and patio

Had a lovely time at Yves' property. It's located in a great location, close to the beach, buses, restaurants, and grocery stores. Kitchen is fully stocked. We spent a ton of time on the balcony which was lovely.

Schönes Appartement mit grossem Balkon an super Lage im 6.Stock mit seitlicher Meersicht.

Buchung und Check-in sehr gut und unkompliziert, netter Gastgeber, es hat alles prima geklappt, merci! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben auch den grossen Balkon sehr genossen. Toll mit den zwei Badezimmern mit Dusche und WC. Und die zwei herunterklappbaren Betten im Wohnzimmer für die Kinder waren prima. Die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen, sehr zentral und fast direkt an der Promenade des Anglais. Perfekt um zu Fuss und mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln Nizza und die Côte d Azur zu erkunden. Sehr gute Verbindungen und sehr günstig. Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Haus, Strassenbahn und Bahnhof auch in der Nähe. Vom Flughafen direkt mit der Strassenbahn Richtung Port Lympia bis Haltestelle Alsace Lorraine, dann sinds nur noch wenige Schritte zu Fuss. Viele feine Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten, Take- aways und Restaurant/Cafés in unmittelbarer Umgebung, Carefour direkt visavis mit grosser Bäckerei. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Winterurlaub

Ich bin der Gastgeberin sehr dankbar für den Aufenthalt. Alles war wunderbar. Ich hatte eine wundervolle Zeit in der Wohnung. In der Wohnung hat sich bereits alles befunden, was benötigt wurde. (Seife, Handtücher, Bügeleisen, Toilettenpapier) Man hat von den Balkon einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer. Auf der anderen Straßenseite befinden sich Bäcker und Geschäft, super Lage. Ich bin sehr froh, dass die Kommunikation und das Check-in/oft problemlos verlaufen ist. Einziger Tipp für zukünftige Reisende: die Wohnung ist für 6 Personen ausgeschrieben. Eines der Betten ist eine Schlafcouch und steht mit zwei weiteren Betten in einem Raum. Für eine sechsköpfige Familie total in Ordnung. Für Freunde vielleicht nicht optimal. Insgesamt kann ich die Wohnung jedem weiterempfehlen !

Super Lage und gut ausgestattet

Die Lage ist echt toll. Sind ca 50 m zum Strand. Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist auch sehr schön. Zudem ist der Balkon rießig. Die Küche ist ziemlich neu und gut ausgestattet. War ein schöner Aufenthalt. Gerne wieder.

Excellent choice

From the onset this was a pleasure to book, Yves was very responsive especially as the booking coincided with Covid-19. Finally it was safe for me to travel and I kept my booking. Pierre was very welcoming and friendly on arrival The flat and balcony are both amazing, so much space and really well equipped, there is everything you need except clothes and a toothbrush! Perhaps most importantly the bed was really comfortable and the air-conditioning worked well and quietly. I agree with other reviews that some of the decor could do with a touch up in places but this didn't bother me. I wasn't looking for high end glamour, I was looking for something homely with a balcony that gets hours of full sun, that's just what I got! I had a fab holiday here and wouldn't hesitate to book again or to recommend it to friends.

Excellent location close to the beach , shops and restaurants

We really enjoyed our stay and the location was great very close to the beach . All the shops and restaurants are just down the road. The owners communication was great right from the beginning . Above all we were nicely greeted by the host Pierre. He gave us all the tips. This is our fourth visit to Nice and first stay at this apartment. Pierre was one of the best host and we would definitely go back here if visiting Nice. The apartment has also two lifts. Two bathrooms and air conditioning for the bedroom was perfect. The apartment has a natural beach and hill view on the other side . Overall nothing to complain. Thanks to Yves and Pierre.

Superbra läge vid havet Superbra med supermarket,bageri apotek inom 100m Superbra värd, Pierre som är otroligt service mindes! 6 bra bädd platser o hög standard på köket. Fantastisk balkong med kvälls sol till kl 20.00 och 3 utgångar
