Bästa vyn på Chincoteague, Island! Totalrenovering avslutad juni 2019.
Detta är en fantastisk egendom på den lugna sidan av ön, men du kan vara på Main Street eller Maddox på fem minuter och till stranden på 10 minuter. Etta kanalsidan restaurang ligger precis intill vår byggnad. Ponnyerna hänger direkt över kanalen från vår enhet! Det är också en av de bästa platserna på ön att titta på ponnyerna som passerar under den årliga Pony Swim!

Detta är en två sovrum, ett badrum enhet som för närvarande sover fem. Kan sova sex om du använder soffan som är mycket bekväm. För närvarande finns det en kungssäng i befälhavaren. I det andra sovrummet finns en våningssäng med en full på botten och två på övre.

Great Place

Very nice, comfortable & clean place. The dock was great. Sunrise with coffee overlooking the water and looking at the wild ponies on Assateague...just what we needed.

Overall our stay was FABULOUS! The rental did advertise washer/dryer however, it did not specify coins operated. The rental also advertised a grill however, it did not say it was a puplic park style charcoal grill that is shared between multiple units. These are important details.thattshared

Nice stay

We had a nice stay. The kitchen and living room area were nicely updated. Andy had great communication on the day of our arrival. The view was beautiful too. Check out is actually 10am, not 11am as stated in the listing.

Awesome Location!

Our family of 4 (two teenagers) thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the porch, being right on the water, seeing the lighthouse and ponies, watching the birds and boaters go by. We also were fortunate to have timed our visit to view a rocket launch from Wallops Island! Wonderful getaway!! And VERY nice for our two teens to have their own bedroom! Wish we could have stayed longer, would definitely go back!

Fantastic condo with amazing view

This is a great little condo. It was clean and nicely decorated with a gorgeous view! It had everything we needed to cook a meal or two. Beds were very comfortable. My two kids appreciated the reliable wi-fi. We had a very relaxing stay here on Chincoteague Island. Thanks Andy & Rebecca!

Peaceful and Relaxing

Three of us enjoyed our stay at this waterfront property. We enjoyed sitting on the porch or dock in the evening hours and watching the birds and the lighthouse. Andy was readily available with any questions or suggestions for whatever we asked. We made friends with the neighboring guests and enjoyed getting to know them. This is a nice property and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. My only regret was that I didn't take a fishing pole!!!

Beautiful place with amazing views

When booking, I chose this unit for the view and it did not disappoint!The view was amazing (we even saw the ponies a few days) and the area was quiet and peaceful. For the unit itself, I always look everything over when we arrive and it was very clean. Everything was updated and worked well. The furniture and beds were comfortable and all the little touches were spot on. Andy was very responsive when we couldn't figure out the pin pad 😂 and when we found there were no beach towels, he he immediately brought us some! They had also just updated the deck furniture and it was comfortable and nice! A couple of cons, I do wish there was a little more privacy when sitting on the deck and because it's an older building, you can hear the people in the upstairs unit walking around, moving things, etc. You can't hear tvs or conversations or anything, but if you're a light sleeper, this could be an issue. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Great location. Would stay again

Place is small but location cannot be beat if you're looking for fun on the bay. Great views. Walk out back door right to floating dock with boat slip. Great crabbing and fishing from dock. Andy and family are very nice and accommodating. House was well stocked for cooking and kitchen use. Kitchen and living room are excellent. Bedroom's are ok. Back porch is shaded and beautiful. Strong smell of paint when you walk in and lots of flies around.

Low-key Ideal

View of lighthouse, park, and ponies. Quiet waterfront great for fishing and kayaking. I'd drink my morning coffee on the patio and watch the dolphins swim by. Great bar next door with live music, friendly staff, and good food. Far enough away that you don't hear it in the unit. Easy private parking immediately infront of unit. Half-mile to breakfast place and convenience store. Less than two miles to town. Caring and helpful hosts.

Great place to stay for nature lovers

My husband, son, and I came to get away for a few days over Thanksgiving break and to check out Chincoteague. The view overlooked the Refuge and we spent hours looking at the birds and wildlife outside the door, which was a great bonus. We were a few minutes drive to the Refuge as well as many good, local restaurants. Andy gave us great recommendations for seafood (which we took) and gave us a lot of helpful tips. The property was fine overall, although there was some hair on the bathroom floor and dust under the bed and in corners, but maybe that’s because no one had stayed there for a bit. Overall it was definitely what we were looking for!

Quiet and Comfortable

We will definitely be back. The condo was clean and well appointed. The owner Andy, met us at check in and gave us a walkthrough of the unit. He lives on the island and told us to give him a call if we needed anything. The bed was as comfortable or better than many hotels I’ve stayed in. Many shore rentals don’t have enough dishes or cookware to prepare meals. Not this one. There is everything you will need to steam your crabs, or broil your oysters. Plenty of counter space and new appliances. The views off the deck and boat dock at the back of the property are beautiful, especially at sunset. We came down for our anniversary this time, but will probably bring the kids next time.

Terrible

The condo was just dirty. The sofa, loveseat and chair was stained and dirty. No heating and air unit, only a air unit with a small electric heater. The toilet wasn't cleaned as well. The lining and pillows should be changed as well. We was so over it we left a day early. If we could have gotten our money back, we would have left the same day. I would never visit this property or refer it to anyone. Property owners should make sure that their properties is maintained well at all times.

AWESOME !!!!!

I highly recommend this condo, right on the water, overlooking Assateague Island. Every morning I got up, I could see the ponies on Assateague. I also saw Loons, Buffleheads, Mallards, and Grebes right outside my door! The fishermen drove by in their boats, I saw the sunrise and sunset, and the lighthouse at night! If you love nature and Chincoteague and Assateague Islands, I really do not think you can do any better than this location. Andy and Rebecca are super nice people, so friendly and helpful, and always available. They remodeled this condo with all the modern appliances and features. The photos just do not do it justice. I was really pleasantly surprised when I walked in. I had friends and family visit me at the condo and they were all jealous. I stayed during the winter so it was quiet and serene; perfect for me! There is also a dock that accompanies the condo, so if you are there in the summer, you could rent a boat or a kayak and that would be a lot of fun! I could write a book about how nice this place is and how nice the owners are. Just stay here and you will LOVE it!! : )

Terrible host

Arrive thurs night. TV stopped working Fri. Called twice on Sat. No response called and text Sun. Finally responded, came over. Immediately said we smoked marijuana in unit. We did not. Smoked outside. Said don’t give me a bad review and I won’t give you one. Said we probably dropped TV ?!Proceeded to call us a word that cannot be printedand threw us out. Said he would refund last day. Instead charged 500 to clean. No refund. We are in our 70’s. Had to drive 7 hours home at night. He committed to return the cost of one day and reneged. VRBO CALLED HOST AND HE REFUSED REFUND.

Nice Finishes and Location, Needs Professional Cleaning

The rental unit had nice finishes, and had everything we needed. The location on the water was great, and the neighbors were friendly. I was under the impression a crab pot was available for use, but there wasn't one. No biggie. One hiccup was related to the cleanliness of the unit. We always inspect the beds before we sleep in them, and were disappointed to find human hair all over the sheets. We weren't sure if they were changed before our arrival, so we contacted the property owner to inform him of the issue and to ask for new sets for all the beds. Communication was challenging being in a bad cell area, but he responded right away and even showed up to the property to inspect the sheets himself and brought new sets. That was really cool of him, but he was a bit confrontational at first and seemed offended that we even asked for new sheets. He assured us the sheets were washed at his home and he has pets. However, as I said, this was human hair, not pet hair. It could have been the type of sheets used that hair tends to cling to. The bathroom walls also had human hair all over them, like they were wiped down with a hairy rag. The top shelf of the refrigerator was sticky from something a previous occupant spilled, so I cleaned it myself. No problem. The rear sliding glass door was streaky, so I cleaned that as well. Again, no problem. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, but I didn't expect to have to clean so much. A professional cleaning and linen service would go a long way.

Guys weekend

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It has incredible views out the back of the bay both sunrise and sunset and a view of the lighthouse. Peaceful location and convenient to driving to the beach.

PONIES!

Couldnt have been a better place to hang out with my wife and my 5 and 3 year old. Able to look at jellyfish and crabs off the back pier. Look at ponies with binoculars in the morning. Great and memorable vacation with the kiddos. Andy communicated with us when I texted him, and we honestly had no issues on the trip. Highly recommend

Great location

The condo is at a good location on Chincoteague island. It has a private dock, which is great for fishing, crabbing, kayaking, and watching the sunrise. It has a nice kitchen, with all kinds of utensils. It is a great place for a family vacation.

We moved to Chincoteague Island from Nashville, TN in April of 2018 for a 18 month work assignment. We love the area so much that we are now making this our permanent residence! The kids love the school and the sense of community here is phenomenal.
