Ett enastående hyreshus i många år på St. George Island, Florida känd som "Alla pappas pengar", men nu under nytt ägande och ledning från och med 2019. Vårt väldigt och nyligen förbättrade hem och inuti kallas nu "Beach Haven"!

Vårt hem ligger direkt tvärs över gatan från stranden med utsikt över viken !!! Ett fantastiskt och önskvärt bottenvåningshus utan trappor och en kort promenad till stranden !! Detta hem är din plats för handikapp eller äldre medlemmar i din familj och hyresfest! Varför lida långa trappor till toppen med varje post, med alla matvaror, bagage, husdjur och mer ??

*** Detta hem hyrs nu bara som ett hem som innehåller en separat stuga tillsammans! Ett hem och en fastighet som nu sover 15 personer, med 2 vardagsrum och två separata kök !!***

Njut av en helt inhägnad gård för dina älskade husdjur! En verkligt sällsynt fynd på St. George ö. Kom och njut av kostnaden utan boarding för att hålla ditt husdjur innehållande när du vågar utforska ön och besöka lokala butiker och restauranger, och återvänd hem för att hitta dem säkra! Husdjur deponerar $ 100 och husdjur rengöring ytterligare $ 100.

Detta hem har en helt egen uppvärmd pool med ett integritetsstak! (Värmare tillval för extra $ 250). En pool och stranden i sikte! Vad mer behöver du ??? Närliggande tillgång till stranden ligger på gångavstånd, även för de äldre !!!

Home har 2 närliggande Beach Access Points. Den ena är markplan och rensad, den andra är en närliggande strandpromenad med doggy station. Båda tar dig hela vägen till stranden och ligger på nära gångavstånd även för äldre eller handikappade.

2 grillkolgrillar, täckt garage, 2 utomhusduschar och 2 vattenpinnar. Inhägnad på gården med låsport. Privat pool med hög integritetsstaket och låsport. Yttre flodljus.

Nice location

Nice location across street from beach. Nice layout and like the detached cottage. Great for our family. However the property was not well maintained. Several lights were out, and bulbs were missing in a couple of lamps. Soap missing in one bathroom, linens & towels low quality.

Beach haven

House was as listed. But there were things that should be improved. Pool leaks and so does hose used to fill it. Electrical outlet in living area under front window missing the cover shield. Master bath shower had what looked like mold. Rental is for 15 people but not enough silverware for everyone. Tv remotes had no batteries. And there were so many remotes we couldn’t figure out which was for what. Tv remote in cottage wouldn’t work on/off or volume. Bed in front bedroom was very low to floor - why??? Coffee pot in cottage didn’t work - we had to buy one to use. Coffee pot in house took very long time to brew. No Microwave in cottage. Kitchen and dining area of house could use better lighting. Prior renters did not clean yard from their dogs - we had to clean up first day. Ceiling fan light in bunk bed room flickers. More towels would be great - if we’d had all the beds full we would have been short on towels. Suggest trimming back bushes alone driveway - made parking tight because of overhanging and so you can see traffic, bike tires are all dry rotted only 3 of the 4 bike operational. can opener in cottage did not work. Cottage had mold at the ac ducts, toilet handle had no pressure to flush, only had enough hot water for a very quick shower, only had 3 forks. Toilet handle in one bathroom was broken and taped Loved the fenced yard. And easy walk to beach. House would be great if maintenance was done.

Family vacation

This would be an awesome rental if some TLC was put into it. Light bulbs out, outdoor grill rusted out and fell. Shower heads need replacing. Toilet handle broken and had to duct tape it together. Lots of small things that wouldn’t take long to fix. Pool and yard was great.

Nice Property

Ground level is great for us senior citizens. We absolutely loved the fenced in yard and pool. Nice open living area with all amenities. Nice location not too far to restaurants and shopping. Pet friendly a plus!

Run down property

First of all we were without hot water for 48 hours! Even when the heating element was replaced the water was very temperamental! You had to get the wonky dials positioned just right. There were exposed cables everywhere! The tv didn’t work in the cottage. We enjoyed our vacation because we love St. George but we will never stay here again! Definitely not worth the money!

Family Time

Great family time, houses were awesome just some items needed cleaning, some lights didn’t work but we all enjoyed the layout of houses and pool area was perfect, the favorite area for us was the huge front porch with plenty of shade, we enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the area has several nice eateries and souvenir shops.

A week at the beach

I booked this place for my parents, sister , myself and my significant other. So we had 5 adults and two dogs. The house was nice and spacious for our group. We did not even use the in-law suite, the bed was smaller then we were used too is the only reason. Was clean and very nice. They provided a nice set of starter toiletries. The kitchen was surprisingly well stalked, we had plenty of large bowls for watermelon, pasta salad and other things. A lot of the Tupperware didn’t have lids and we just used Saran Wrap, easy enough. Lots of drink pitchers two for lemonade or sangria. The beach chairs were a little warn it but still very usable and so convenient, the beach is basically across the street. We were able to bring the paddle board out 1 day. Took two able bodies but not bad, made for a very fun experience. The pool was great, clean and warm and very fun to play in after a day at the beach. All in all we would stay there again, it was great for the week!

Met our needs perfectly

With a dog, two toddlers, and 3 families, this house met our needs perfectly. The lack of stairs was great for the kids and one member of our family who was still recovering from an orthopedic injury. The heated pool was great fun since the Gulf was still chilly. The fenced yard was great for the kids and dog. The proximity to the beach was good for hauling sand toys and chairs (and the buggy to do it with was super helpful). The kitchen and dining area was large enough for everyone. And the layout with split bedrooms and a cottage gave the 3 families some privacy. There was plenty of room in the driveway for 3 cars but it was walkable to a playground, doughnuts, and ice cream 😄. Not much of a view and the pool and the cottage need some repairs, but overall a great combination of amenities and value.

Great stay!

We had a great week at Beach Haven! It is a perfect location! Close to the middle of the island and action, and it has a close beach path. The house is roomy with good amenities. The yard is great for dogs! Minor improvements include a deeper cleaning and a “pantry” area for food. All in all, satisfied and plan to book for 2025 now!

Enjoyed our 5 week stay!

My mom and I and my golden retriever arrived for our five weeks stay in early February. We had grandchildren and great grandchildren and teenagers and their parents come and visit us and we all enjoyed the heated pool and the close proximity to the beach. Any concerns we had with the house were handled very quickly, and there really weren’t that many. A couple of lightbulbs needed to be changed for us because of high ceilings and two bathroom faucets were replaced. Overall it was a delightful stay.

Surprise! We are here from MO! Not ready for us?

Before our arrival on 12/26, the beach house and apartment unit were closed for a month due to a tile job. Unfortunately, when we arrived the property had not been sufficiently cleaned after that tile job. It was not checked for working TV service, dishwasher, heated Pool, WiFi, or working indoor/outdoor lights. We had to clean all utensils and some dishes by hand because of the tile dust everywhere. There were dirty hand prints on walls, cigarette butts, and small construction waste around the front porch/side areas. We found sheets and underwear in the w/d and bathroom. The Wi-Fi did not work and the pool was not heated until the second day of our stay. The pool kept its warmer temp for 2 out of 6 day stay. I would like to ask for the $300 pool fee, the service fee, OR the host fee to be reimbursed. We appreciate Andrew coming over the first night and fixing the outdoor apartment light, some inside lights, the breaker (which blew first time), and having hskp come over and wipe down the dust from the ceiling fans and she helped ME clean the refrigerator that smelled like old fish. However, Andrew did NOT return my text or calls after I told him we blew the breaker a second time and the d/w was not working. Please consider a reimbursement of one or all of the mentioned fees. I was a loyal VRBO customer but never again after this stay.

The house was dirty when we arrived we had to wash the beds and thoroughly sweep the whole house the pool was unusable for the first 5 days until it was fixed no filtration and no heat the back door would not lock and kept flying open with the breeze we had to jam a door under the knob to keep it closed we had 2 disappointing weeks and that is being nice about it

Have realistic expectations

The second day, my MIL (who was staying in the cottage with my FIL) suggested I request a "discount" for our week long stay. I told her we were already getting a reduced price than you'd pay for similar size places around us. In fact, I priced the rental right next door to us with the same number of beds/baths. It was over $1,500 more for the same week. As long as you go into it knowing you didn't find the "hidden gem" with top of the line accommodations for a lower-rate, then you'll be happy. Pros: Great location to everything Plenty of space in living area and bedrooms All on one level (great for older family members!) Dish washer, oven and clothes washer/drier worked great Easy entry to the beach Lots of outside showers Beach gear was great Beds were comfy and bunk room was great Can't beat the price with how close you are to the beach Cons: Big roaches inside. We saw them in all the bathrooms, kitchen, master bedroom and the cottage. Contacted the host twice but never saw anyone come spray. Only one bike was working Double kayak takes on water Bring extra towels b/c they don't give you enough Also suggest bringing extra light bulbs and batteries Fridge has seen better days and is missing shelves in the door Hodge podge of kitchen stuff (e.g. skillets, glasses, etc.) so might want to bring your own favorites Not the cleanest. Wouldn't suggest moving any furniture around because they haven't been cleaned under in a long time. Neither vacuum works well.

SO many things to love...

The features of Beach Haven can't be duplicated anywhere on SGI. Don't even try. This is a one-level, pet-friendly property with a private pool, steps from the beach that can accommodate a large crowd. Throw in a separate cottage, well-stocked kitchen and a fenced yard, and you have a truly unique property for any group, and particularly those that include seniors, children and dogs. There are no steps to navigate anywhere, and dogs have plenty of room to run freely in the fenced yard. The pool has a true privacy fence, and the gate can't be opened by anyone younger than 10 due to the height of the latch, which is a fantastic safety feature. The large covered front porch and furnishings are a delight. All of that being 100 percent true, read through all of the reviews, and you'll have a good idea of what to expect. There will be some items that don't work, quite a few burned out lightbulbs, older furniture (combined with some very nice updated items), ants in the kitchen (the spray under the sink takes care of them when they appear), bathrooms that could really use a facelift, and some very spotty housekeeping. Come in with those expectations, and you'll have a great visit. Loud boos to prior guests who didn't clean up after their dogs in the yard, which isn't a property management issue per se, but please don't think this is a yard for kiddos to run around in. Another year or two of wear and tear will be too much at the current rate of maintenance, which is a real shame.

The house was in a great location and it was nice to have the pool. However, the floor in the house needs to be replaced. One of our gueat got a splinter from the floor. House was very clean and each bedroom.was very nice. I would stay here again if i knew the floor was fixed.

Great Labor Day Trip !

The house is perfect for a family of 12-15. The kitchen is well equipped with nice appliances. The pool size and depth was great, though a few tiles are missing but no big deal. The distance to the beach was just a few steps across the street. The proximity to restaurants and shops is perfect. The grass needed cutting but that wasn't a big deal either. We'll definitely rent this house again. I'll give it a 9/10. 😀

Great potential.

Absolute perfect family setting. More than ample sitting and sleeping arrangements for large parties, to include private cottage for private couples. A few issues during the stay, a couple lights were not operational, water pressure/heating was minimal for showers, and just overall maintenance was not quite finished. Really hoping a lot was to do with actively renovating the property and will continue to improve. Absolutely loved the ample space, but yet still cozy family abode perfect distance from everything. Will definitely return on our next trip.
