"Sandy Bucket" Àr en perfekt oas för din familj eller för tvÄ familjer. Sandhinken i vÄrt hus hÀnvisar inte bara till sandleksaken utan ocksÄ till vÄra sandiga "bottnar"! VÄra kiddos kallar deras botten "hink" sÄ namnet har en dubbel betydelse för oss! Vi Àr husdjursvÀnliga, 100 yds till stranden med privat tillgÄng till stranden, panoramautsikt över havet och ingen vÀg att korsa nÀr man gÄr till stranden. VÄrt hem renoverades i juni 2017. Helt nya köksapparater, bÀnkskivor, stor enkel handfat 10 "djup rostfritt stÄl handfat med hög utdragbar kran, ny tvÀttmaskin / torktumlare, alla nya badrum (plattor, fÄfÀnglighet, badkar, toaletter, etc.), nya lyxiga vinylplattor golv i hela huset , ny fÀrg och möbler (nya madrasser, soffor, stolar, etc.). Dessutom ett helt nytt VVS-system och tanklös varmvattenberedare sÄ att du aldrig kommer att bli slut pÄ varmt vatten !! Ett nytt 19 fot djupt dÀck slutför renoveringarna. Huset Àr 1. 5 miles till ingÄngen till State Park och 2. 5 miles till fyren, livsmedelsbutiken och restauranger sÄ det Àr pÄ ett perfekt lÀge att cykla eller springa i bÄda riktningarna pÄ cykelvÀgen som gÄr lÀngs hela ön! Partierna pÄ East End Àr vardera 1 tunnland sÄ det finns mer integritet och strÀnderna Àr tystare, vilket vi Àlskar!

Det finns 3 sovrum. Det stora sovrummet har eget badrum, takflÀkt och franska dörrar pÄ dÀck. Det andra kungens sovrum har en TV, DVD-spelare och franska dörrar pÄ dÀck ocksÄ. VÄningssalen har en tvilling över tvÄ vÄningssÀngar och en tvilling över hela sÀngen. En rullbarnsÀng finns ocksÄ i garderoben sÄ att vÄningssÀngen kan sova 6 barn. Matbordet har plats för upp till 8 personer med bordsbladet. Det finns tre barstolar vid köksbÀnken för ytterligare sittplatser. Vardagsrummet har en mycket stor bekvÀm sektion tillsammans med tvÄ dÀmpade stolar. Stor platt-TV med DVD-spelare, böcker och spel.

Det finns en utomhusdusch under huset med bÄde ett duschhuvud och en slang för att tvÀtta leksaker och hundar. Parkering för flera bilar under huset ocksÄ. Gratis wifi och kabel-TV. NÀr du anlÀnder kommer du att fÄ ett startpaket (tvÄl, toalettpapper osv.).

Great place to enjoy SGI

This house has everything we were looking for: awesome view, comfort, enough space for our group of 6, peaceful surroundings and more. We really enjoyed sitting out on the large deck and the very short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Beach Vacation

Beautiful beach vacation. The house was almost waterfront and a very easy walk to the beach. Clean and comfortable. The balcony was great for morning coffee and gated to keep the dog in. The beach was amazing.

Nice beach weekend

AC worked great, beds were very comfortable, close walk to beach, quiet area, kitchen equipment looked and worked well, screened porch is a bonus, and tables and chairs on deck were very comfortable.

Relaxing stay

Well maintained property that is kept up. The only thing this house is missing is a pool but it does have easy beach access. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

There was one tee towel in kitchen, two pot holders, No spices other than salt or pepper. House said it fit 10. It felt crowded with my family of 6. We are used to renting the big houses on bay though. It was a great walk to beach. Gorrie does not go through this area so the street is sand. It's safe for kids to cross. The house is directly across the street from beach. We had some AC issues but April had it fixed within the hour. It got hot and I couldn't turn it off. Her hubby had to from an app. Everything is done by app now lol. We had fun it's a cute house, nice easy walk to beach. There is a regular coffee pot, and a kurig.

Great Island Getaway!

For the price per night this is a great property. The house is roomy and perfect for two couples or one family. Short walk and you are on the beach. The owners are really nice, too and their communication from booking to check out is really helpful. Happy Beaching(:

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at Sandy Bucket! Communication with property owners was great! It was a perfect distance to the beach, easy walk. We loved the outdoor shower as it was the best! We all had enough space. The open floor plan was nice for our large group.

Location was good. Although it wasn’t beachfront but nice views from the porch, no street to cross and a good walking path to the beach. You could tell the owners have remodeled and put some cute decor in it. However, we did have a few roaches, the dishes were dirty and there was a water leak under French doors on second bedroom.

Perfect place

The house was perfect for my husband, me, and our little dog. It was an easy walk to the beach. Neighbors were quiet. We love the East End of the Island. Loved the screened porch and the big open wood deck. We will rent this one again.

We are a family of five that love St. George Island! We started going to this area over 10 yrs ago and settled on St George 6 years ago. We love how quiet, laid back and dog-friendly the island is! Our Golden Retriever loves the beach as much as we do! We have made lots of great memories so far here, whether it's looking for shells at the State Park, playing in the ocean, taking bike rides to get ice cream or eating oysters! We all love oysters!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This property sits back from the beach just enough to get those panoramic views of the ocean!! The house is 1.5 miles to the State Park entrance, and 2.5 miles to the lighthouse so the perfect distance to bike or run either direction. The East End is much quieter and each of the property lots are 1 acre so the houses aren't on top of each other. We have private beach access for our house and a screened porch for those times of year when it's very hot but you want to sit outside.
