A 4 Bedroom home to fit your vacation needs in Beautiful Lake Geneva. The house has everything you could imagine for your families needs for a relaxing stay. Two beautiful firepits, with one in the woods where you can sit on actual wood seats. It is almost guaranteed you will see a deer or two in the backyard. Comes fully stocked with all linens, utensils, etc. Just bring the family and some food and you are set! We provide a house that fill fit your vacation needs. You will always remember the Retreat in the Woods as one of your best vacation stays.

Thanksgiving weekend

We had a lovely time at this property. It was set up perfectly for our family to enjoy the holiday. The house was great with lots of amenities and beautiful backyard.

A diamond in the rough!!!

I couldn't believe how awesome this property was, especially considering what the Property Owners are charging per night! Incredible value! The pictures on VRBO look nice, but in my opinion, don't do the property justice. The house is in a great location, on an amazing lot, with plenty of space to entertain. They've got 2 fire-pits in the backyard, a patio, a screened-in porch, an open floor plan on the main level (with nice finishes), a huge finished basement and just about everything you could possibly need for your stay (grill, toothbrushes, laundry detergent, pack n play, high chair, games, Netflix, popcorn, coffee, etc)...you need it, they've got it! If you're reading my review and considering a stay...I'm extremely confident that it will exceed your expectations. If you've already booked, get ready for a special weekend!

Awesome property for boys trip

The property was absolutely gorgeous. I was particularly stunned by the backyard, with its towering flush trees. The space was huge, enough for ten 30-year-old guys. Everything was supplied--towels, shampoo, conditioner, and more. The only things I would note are: 1) You should bring your own bottled water (the place gets well water, which we were advised against drinking) 2) Bring ice if you need it 3) There are only two BRs 4) It isn't right on the water Otherwise, a great stay and very friendly and helpful hosts.

Spectacular stay!

Sparkling clean and completely renovated home. We enjoyed every square inch of the house!! Shuffle board and air hockey games kept everyone entertained for hours. 2 fire pits, every room is wired for sound, every channel you can possibly think of, fully stocked coffee Bar and kitchen and enough towels for an army. 10 mins to downtown. Great carry out place up the street. Dont think twice.... just book it!!

This house in the woods was beautiful. We stayed a week and wish it had been a month. The lake is 10 minute walk. Great experience. Thank you!

Great Stay

Our family loves to be at the lake. We were unable to find a property that was available with a lake view because we booked so late but we felt we weren't missing out on anything with this house. It was perfect for our family of 9! We loved sitting by the fire each day and had many highly contested games of shuffleboard and air hockey in the basement. The owners of this property have thought of every amenity you may need for your stay. You can't go wrong renting this beautiful home!

Great house for family gatherings

Wife and I stayed at the house with our 3 adult children and their spouses. Plenty of gathering space inside and outside and bedrooms were comfortable, with 2 full bathrooms. Easy drive to downtown Lake Geneva. House is well appointed and very comfortable. Thanks for a great stay.

Fourth of July weekend

It was everything we expected and more!! Loved the location and the backyard and patio area. The home was stocked with whatever you needed and beautifully decorated and extremely clean and comfortable. Extremely happy to say the least!! Already referred to a friend !!

Perfect getaway spot

Had a fantastic stay here with our 2 toddlers. House was beautiful and pristine and best of all there were tons of toddler amenities that were not listed! (high chair, pack n play, popcorn maker, games, art supplies). The backyard/deck had a grill that was lovely for every meal. The only downside is beach passes to Fontana beach are NOT included, and there is also limited access to the lakefront path as everything is private property. Still, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this gem of a getaway spot!

Fantastic Family Place

This place was more than expected! The owners thought of everything we could have possibly needed during our stay. Our kids loved the fire pits and old fashion popcorn maker. We have been to Lake Geneva several times, but this was the first time that we enjoyed it with peace and quiet. The house is nestled on an acre lot with many mature trees. It was only a short drive to town, if you wanted to shop, eat, or go to the beach. If you want to use the lake access, we would recommend wearing water shoes. There were lots of rocks. Public beach might be a better place if you like swim, but with COVID-19, we decided to go the less crowded swim access.

Great Chicago Getaway!

We loved the home and it had everything we could have wanted when it came to a few days at the lake. The owners took care to outfit the home with great features both in and outside and we really enjoyed the grill (which wasn't listed!) Would stay again and recommend!
