Half an hour's drive away, there are several of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, Gordes, Roussillon, Ménerbes, Bonnieux, Lacoste and the castle of the Marquis de Sade, and Cavaillon with its Hôtel d'Agar museum and its paintings by Caravaggio. Near Gordes the magnificent Sénanque Abbey which dates from the 12th century.
For races, about 1,500 m. the village offers two bakeries, a butcher, a pharmacy. a supermarket, various shops including a boutique selling fine food products, a medical center, the Post Office, several hotels, restaurants and tobacco bar.
8 km away, the town of Apt, sub-prefecture, offers 3 supermarkets and a hospital. Every Saturday morning the most famous market in Provence is held.
