Reunion weekend

Warm and comfortable. well appointed, great kitchen, awesome showers, comfortable beds. No iron or we couldn't find it, very steep access, mobility issues. Didn't use the downstairs but looked equally good. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing

It was a fabulous house to host a family Christmas, House was amazing every thing you needed, The view from the balconies was breathtaking, Very close to the supermarket and the local restaurant, 10 out of 10

What a GEM!

We stayed at Magical Harbour Views for a total of 16 nights. What a magnificent place with views galore! We had our daughters come one week and friends come another week. Such a comfortable set up with basically 2 separate living areas - 2 bedrooms/2 bath upstairs and 2 bedrooms/1 bath downstairs - all have a GREAT views of Lyttelton across the water. It was a wonderful location being outside of the hustle and bustle of Christchurch but an easy 35 minute drive to the city. The ferry from Diamond Harbour to Lyttelton was a quick 12 minute ride back and forth. Gabby was delightful to work with on any questions we had about the property. Wine on the top deck is a must after a day out sightseeing. Highly recommend this place - a view we will always cherish and remember!

Lovely Oasis

Enjoyed connecting with our friends! The “Hot Tubs” are amazing! Highly recommend! Beautiful location and views. Trails off the garden were perfect! The port is a bit bright and takes from the experience in the evenings but has its own attraction and really did not take away from our experience. Thank you for the hub to connect with our friends!

Beautiful location!

We had the loveliest time staying at this property. Gabby was super helpful and always quick with any communication. We rented both of the houses and found them both awesome. Comfy beds, plenty of extra linen and of course the showers were awesome... the kids also really loved the bathtubs on the deck. They had a great time checking out the stars and the view over the harbour at night. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Away from it all

So close but yet so far from city life. We loved the stunning views and frequent visits from our native bird friends. It was so peaceful and just a quick ferry ride over to lyttleton to the market or our for dinner. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was warm, comfortable and modern. Underfloor heating in the bathrooms was amazing on those chilly mornings. Communication was great and the experience was effortless, we Would definitely go back.

Magic Moments

We used the house as a base for my daughters wedding and it was perfect. The upstairs downstairs configuration allowed the bride and bridesmaids space to get ready without men, this was good for us all. Gabbie is a fabulous host checking up to make sure all was good, I appreciated her consideration. If I stay in Diamond Harbour again, I would use this home, I'd recommend it to others happily Thank you Gabbie.

Another beautiful winter weekend in Diamond Harbour. Gabby is a fabulous host, and her property is such a joy to relax in. Stunning views across the harbour, a newly renovated interior, beautiful linen, and handy to the jetty. We love it - thank you Gabby!

Girls weekend in tranquil location

Great harbour views and spotless accommodation

Great setup of 2 units that can be used together for larger groups; one big outdoor deck with great views of Lyttleton harbour and beyond. Excellent host and spotlessly clean property.

Awesome view house

We had a great time. The view of Lyttelton harbour from the house is awesome. We stayed on a wet day not felt bored watching the spectacular view. Both upstairs and downstairs rooms were well maintained and was beautifully renovated. Only one issue was that the downstairs master bed room bed rails were not fixed properly, so the mattress kept falling off when we slept on it. Highly recommend if you want to enjoy the holidays and experience a wonderful view .

Perfect place for a group

This place was perfect in every way for our group of 10. Eight people stayed at the property and two slept in their self contained motor home nearby. Living areas a good size, kitchen well equipped with plenty of cooking, serving and eating utensils and areas to cater the food. Bedrooms large and good hanging spaces. Three bathrooms with great showers etc. all areas of the property were very clean. Wonderful view of Lyttelton and the harbour. We had a wonderful weekend and will be recommending this property as a must stay at.

Awesome place to stay with a bigger group

Awesome place to stay with a bigger group. Lots of space and loved the fully fenced deck! New bathrooms and kitchens really nicely done. A relaxing place to spend a few days, would love to do it again.
