Northland lake retreat

Second year at this wonderful lake retreat. Large home on easy to access lake property. Plenty of room for the whole family (6 of us). Clean and well appointed. Two bathrooms are a definite plus. Hot tub, two kayaks, a paddle board and a canoe available for use. Swimming raft too. Pontoon for additional rent. Very scenic area with access to several lakes. Town of Iron River is close for grocery runs and there are several good restaurants. (The Spot, Delta Diner, The Other Place). We ordered pizza delivered one night also. A winery in town (White Winter) and nearby Oulu Glass are favorites. Owners were very responsive. Loved it!

Excellent!

My partner and I stayed here for a week and couldn’t have had a better stay. The photos don’t do it justice— the lake is beautiful and peaceful, the home is cozy, and the view from the deck can’t be beat. Would highly recommend!!

Teepee Trail Cabin

Great location on Twin Bear Lake of the Pike Chain of Lakes! Comfy and cozy with just the right number of modern necessities. Owners are great and easy to get a hold off when we had questions. I would recommend that if you take the pontoon out, make sure the gas tank is full and if want to your all the lakes it can get to, you take the extra tank of gas with you. We would consider staying again if we get back to that part of the state.

Northwoods Retreat

Very nice. Spacious and clean with enough amenities to keep everybody happy (kayaks, a canoe, pontoon, fishing, swimming , hot tub, walking). Great level access to the lake. Many lakes to explore in the boats. House sleeps a larger family. Plenty of rooms even when raining. Wi-fi and two TVs for our modern lifestyle. Very clean and well kept. Kitchen was adequately stocked and there is a dishwasher and a washer and dryer. Perfect. Plan to return. Five stars.

Loved the lake

Lots to love here. Lake is actually a chain of lakes so it is wonderful boating fun. We kayacked every day...even took out the paddleboat one day. Hot tub in the evening couldn't be better. House is comfortable and clean except for a few stains on the carpet (pet friendly), that had obviously been cleaned and no odors. Lovely views

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

We had THE BEST week at this well-appointed cabin!. The property lot is very level/zero elevation, just steps away from the beautiful sandy bottomed beach. Whole family (ages 9 to 75) swam in the lake and used the hot tub day and night! Beds were very comfy. The cabin doesn’t have central air, but a very large portable unit sits in the living room. Plus, all the ceiling fans and standing fans kept things plenty cool (and we had some hot days!). Kitchen could use some additional pans, specifically metal or Pyrex baking dishes 9x13, 9x9 etc. as there are none. Also a set of measuring cups, both dry and liquid, plus measuring spoons, please? :) We have already rebooked for next year!!

Great Lake get away

This property is on a lovely lake and includes kayaks, paddle boat, canoe, paddleboard, etc. Plenty of room for a large family or even two families. Views were gorgeous, hot tub is wonderful. Beds are not great but acceptable. WiFi Worked well. Kitchen could use a few items to make cooking and serving easier, especially because the home accommodates at least 8. ( more dishes, baking pans, measuring utensils, sharp knives) the gas grill is great! We loved our experience and have already booked a week for next summer!

Great family vacation!

Great property with everything you need. Sandy swim area, kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, pontoon option, lots of lakeshore. The lake is not very busy and we had a great time on the water. Caught a few northerns, smallmouth, and one huge musky! Cabin is clean and really nice. It's better than the photos show. We had 4 adults and 3 kids. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms and a bed in lower level. Doug (owner) was great, very responsive and friendly. We had a small issue gettign the gas grill going and he came out immedialty to get it working. It was user error. We had a great family vacation! Thanks Doug!

Simply Amazing!

This was our second year coming to this property and hopefully not our last! You cannot beat the peacefulness and beauty of the Wisconsin north woods. The cabin is clean and in great shape. The property sits right on Twin Bear Lake and provides a great view along with an amazing beach front! We spent a majority of our week in the water playing games and enjoying the weather. There is a hot tub and camp fire pit where you can watch the sunset and enjoy the sounds of loons. We also made use of the pontoon and some of the other water sport options. This is an absolutely amazing property! Doug was great to work with throughout the process and we defiantly hope to be there next year!

Better than your own Cabin

We've often thought about purchasing a cabin. However quickly realized that when there are properties like this one that can be rented, why would we want to. This property has everything you would want for the quintessential summer trip to the cabin. The things I liked the most include: 1) the amazing raft and all the fish that live beneath it, 2) the basement get-away for the teenager, 3) the long accessible shoreline that makes handling the plethora of available floating vessels very easy, and 4) air conditioning during what might have been the hottest week of the year. We loved it and I have a feeling we might be back next year! Thanks so much for sharing your cabin with those of us who don't own one. It was really a wonderful experience.

Home away from home

We visited in June 2020 and would highly recommend this property for your family vacation! The home is very spacious with plenty of room to sleep a family of 8. The property owner was extremely responsive and reached out to us multiple times to make sure everything met our needs. The kayaks, paddleboard, paddle boat and the rental pontoon were all in great shape! The lakes are all gorgeous in this area and there was lots of great fishing. We will be sure to book again in the future!

Great place for family vacation

Hello, we had a great time at the property and it was mostly as described. The fishing boat didn't have a motor so that was a little disappointing but great spot on the lake and quiet. The owner was hard to get a hold of for check in information but once we got that confirmed everything was smooth sailing. Would still recommend and stay again!

Lake House on Twin Bear

We had a wonderful time enjoying the stunning view and relaxing at your comfortable lakefront property. We enjoyed boating, swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing and hot-tubbing. It was so nice to un-plug and enjoy family time together! And at night we'd play cards or board games and have a campfire w/smores. What a great trip! I would highly recommend this relaxing get-away!

Amazing Location for a Relaxing Weekend

We stayed for a weekend in September. The cabin is perfectly located - the chain of small lakes, beautiful trees, nice paths for hiking and biking. We took so many pictures of the foliage, the colors are breathtaking. The cabin is large, plenty of room for adults and children. Well decorated and comfy. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals or just warming up already made food. We used an outdoor grill for dinners, cooked the rest inside. There are kayaks, pontoon, and a hot tub that we enjoyed as well. The property manager easily accessible to answer any questions and give an advice. We had a great time and made a lot of good memories!!! Strongly recommend this place! You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful lake, lots of great amenities.
