Very clean property with a good amount of household needs available in case you’ve forget something. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back if we are in the area. Kids loved all the area to run around!

It was a lovely stay. We truly enjoyed it! Cabin was well stocked...thank you for that, for some things that were forgotten. We have left with heavy hearts. Trees and birdlife were so peaceful. And the spoils and fresh flowers were fantastic. Thank you so much. Overall awesome experience!

We really enjoyed ourselves at this cabin. We were looking for a quiet cabin getaway during the 4th of July weekend and this place was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all of the essentials. It is close enough to the small towns in the area for easy day drives, but far away enough to feel secluded and we heard zero fireworks! I could see staying here again. Both our dog and 4yo loved it.

The cabin was cute and well appointed, had everything we needed for a fun stay. The 2.5 miles of gravel was not ideal for our travel with convertibles. Great central location in the north woods! Kevin was very responsive! Even had s’more makings in fridge for us! Looking for an adventure…stop at the Moquah Bar and say hi to Steve!

The directions provided by the owner were accurate. The cabin is deep in the woods — arriving at dusk was a little spooky. Buy when you open the door you find it’s all worth it. There were fresh flowers and a kit for making s’mores on the firepit. The washer and dryer are an extra convenience. It’s a great cabin, about 1 mile off the highway. There are so many things to do in the area. Our group spent an afternoon in Bayfield followed by a cold swim in Lake Superior from the beach in Cornucopia.

Weekend getaway

Good location to explore Ashland, Bayfield and Cornucopia. Enjoyed hiking, viewing waterfalls and picking berries! The cabin was cozy and really enjoyed the fire pit!
