Get that siding fixed! You will sustain more damage!
I hated to give harsh reviews, and I used to own a vacation rental. I will start off with the positives. The home was clean and adequately stocked. Room sizes ample and laundry easily accessible. The neighborhood is an older with many 1950’s era block ranches. We all felt safe.The negatives: the home must had had hurricane damage from the outside. I wish I could post pictures to detail the differences between the exterior online pictures. In fact, I’m wondering if the owners are even aware! There was no mention of this in the listing. We had difficulty sleeping as the siding was bowing in the wind all night creating a constant sound. The photos show amazing views that insinuate amazing views. Which would be accurate, except you would need to go up another 100 feet. Lastly, the handrail inside needs to be anchored better, way too wobbly. We ventured to the hot tub on the second day to find it had not been treated and had a greenish color. We contacted the management and they sent someone the next day. The person who doesn’t normally service the hot tub said it had it been treated and we asked him to check the pool as well. He said the pool chemicals were off. My advice is to check up on your current pool guy.We had no issues with access, but the lack of communication and followup was less than desired. To me management is letting it run itself, unless a major problem arises.
