Great Place to Stay Great Views

This was a perfect stay for my Family and I as we were so close to the beach and not far from Destin. I liked the pool and it was near everything we wanted to do. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Very nice property

I absolutely loved the location of the property! It was near EVERYTHING! And I especially enjoyed access to the pier. The apartment was neat and well stocked with everything needed. The only negative is the bed in the master bedroom (or adult) bed room squeaks really loud with even the slightest movement. Other than that no complaints. The hosts were wonderful and responsive no matter the time! I I’ll definitely travel beee again in the future !

Cozy Beach Condo-Just Live Music Next Door

Had a lovely stay, this home had updated kitchen appliances and fans and quaint beach decor! Did have some slight odor of old furniture and perhaps smoke, but having the AC on helped. It was fairly clean, but could use a good mopping (some dirt and sand on floor, and corners and under furniture did not look attended to). Fridge and kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. There was also an older ottoman that had stains on it, and stains on the walls. Could use some updated glossy (instead of matte) paint. There was also a bar with live music next door that was VERY LOUD, so just be mindful if you like to go to bed early. You will hear it. Love the view of the bay and the pool and distance to all other recreational activities in the area.

Will never stay here again

We drove 9 hours to get here to stay for a week, we get in and there's roaches (dead and alive) all in the kitchen along with roach bait houses on the kitchen counter tops and in the corner of rooms. We called and they said that the pest guy had just sprayed that's why we were seeing them... we called Tuesday about the washing machine not working they said it would be fixed Friday which was no help to us because we left Saturday morning so we had to take all our dirty clothes and towels all the way down the road to a friends condo to wash. We could not use the appliances or silverware due to roaches, I had to throw away my crockpot that I brought due to roaches. We were keeping a weeks worth of groceries in cupboards and suitcases due to roaches. The living room tv remote didn't work along with the ceiling fan/light. Outside the front door ceiling/roof is crumbling and falling apart. The people above us were SO loud! The bed was comfy just very loud, the couch was nice. All in all the amount of time it took for us to save up for this trip and the time we took off work and for this to be my children's first beach trip is just disappointing and upsetting for what we got. This was our first "nice beach" trip and the condo was a huge let down.

Functional stay

We arrived early in Florida but waited until after 1pm to reach out for a possible early check in before 4pm. There was no response with the number provided to text. We called and when we reached someone, I strained a little to understand clearly through the accent. They said we weren’t down for early check-in so there wouldn’t be any. There were several things that we didn’t want blame for. Hole in screen, dirty smelly pan in oven, first bedroom lights didn’t work, shower door broken, one smoke alarm missing, and not response when I texted them. With pictures. Their responses were, we are sorry , this is not how your stay should be, our local team will check in this. We want to make this right. No one came. No word on how they were going to “Make it right”. After we got home I got msg to submit a review. Much similar to my responses here. They only posted the star rating image and none of my comments. We only stayed 2 out of the 3 nights

Cons and Pros: Good but some items need attention

Vacasa is and was great to work with as the management company, but the Condo needs some attention. Several outlets appeared burned up giving the appearance of a safety concern even if they were operable. Old outdated shower head in one bathroom, shower doors broken and dont close in other bathroom, trash cans are tiny, and light switches are inconviently placed to name the primary cons. For some pros, Vacasa does a great job with communication, are very responsive, and truly care about customers. The condo includes a lot of nice dishes, silverware, garbage disposal, dishwasher, Air Fryer, microwave, and other cooking things. The pool onsite is nice, the beach is right across the road with lots of good restaurants. The view is nice.

Good value.

Small, but comfortable, and better than a hotel. Had everything we needed. Overlooks the pool. 5-10 minute drive from a lot of fun things to do.
