This dreamy waterfront home is the perfect place for a solo escape or treasured gathering for family and friends. This 3-story, three bedroom, two full bath home provides plenty of water-view windows, and room for multiple guests. Enjoy the outdoors on our 1/2 acre waterfront lot with Adirondack chairs and fire pits. Stunning beautiful views of the river from every angle and the most memorable sunsets. Cook and relax on the open, large outdoor deck which is perfect any time of the year. You can also enjoy views from the 700 square foot boathouse with a fish cleaning station. Our house is just a short boat ride to Lake Livingston or a short drive to downtown Huntsville.

awesome House

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is well stocked and so comfortable. The view is beautiful. We enjoyed the rope swing down by the lake and the fire pit at night!

Gorgeous…Must Stay!

The Sunset House is an absolute must! I almost hate writing this as once you go here you will want to go back again and again. The communication with the host was terrific. Kim was available from prebooking questions all the way through our stay and departure. The design of the home is exquisite and there are several thoughtful touches throughout. There are 180 views of the water that immediately put you at ease. Everything you need for entertaining from barware to cookware is provided. Plenty of cozy beds and linens throughout the house. Large boat house for fishing as well. Fun games and cards for inside along with TVs. A nice feature were the Bluetooth speakers both in the house and at the boathouse which we really enjoyed for listening to our music. The evening sunsets are breathtaking and perfect on the deck for cocktail hour and grilling with family and friends. This place is truly charming, we had such a lovely time here and are already looking at the calendar to make another trip. We stayed for a week and felt like we were home. Do not hesitate to book this house. You will not be disappointed. We stay at a lot of Vrbo’s and this one is definitely one of our favorites now.

I knew the minute I saw Sunset House that I wanted to buy it. I absolutely love the house, the property, and the views of the water and sunsets. It's truly my favorite place!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

I love that you can see water from every window in the house. I also love the boathouse. Just sitting out there listening to the birds and watching wildlife. The inlet that Sunset House sits on is relatively quiet, but you can drive a short drive 15-20 minute drive by boat into Lake Livingston for more action. The house is a quick drive from Houston and is located between Livingston and Huntsville. There's so much to do!
