Located at 18 Riverview Terrace, just 2 min walk to the beach & boardwalk , this cozy recently renovated 3-bedroom rental has a private covered porch w/ beautiful views, plenty of outdoor seating, lighting, private propane grill, private gas fire pit. The house includes a full kitchen with all amenities, brand-new granite countertops, dishwasher, brand-new appliances, washer/dryer in unit, two full bathrooms w/bathtubs & and heated tile floors, two living rooms, a dining area, cable TV & high speed internet. One bedroom has a queen sized bed, one bedroom has 1 twin and 1 full, another bedroom had 1 full bed. There are also 2 pull out futons that sleeps 2 in the living room area. Outdoor Shower, private propane grill & picnic area. Propane tank for grill provided, propane itself not provided, if gas remains from previous tenant, you can use it.

One parking space for any sized vehicle is included & additional parking may be available for economy rate, you can inquire at anytime after booking to what can be arranged. All mattresses will have protectors on them, a few starter rolls of toilet paper are always provided as well as a bath mat however blankets and towels are NOT provided. Great vacation house for larger families, reunions or friends.

We allow pets for a one time pet fee of $150 for the first pet, $75 for any additional pet. We can host a maximum of 3 pets.

Early check-in and late checkout could be added based on availability & an additional fee.

Reservations under seven nights may be subject to additional fee.

Summer beach house

Location was great but the impression from the photos was different from actually seeing the property. It was smaller than it looked and not so cleanly.

Bait and switch

When I saw true location of property I was shocked it was advertised as being right off the beach but in reality it was not even close to the beach, it was on a dead end st called river view terrace. The street flooded every time night tide came in! The cottage was filthy and loaded with mold it was hard to sleep 8 even though it was advertised as sleeping 10 . A huge disappointment for us but what were we going to do at that point I’ll never rent without seeing the place beforehand o

Easy to contact and check in. Loud neighbors in the middle of the night, otherwise a good location to walk to the beach. Nice outdoor seating and grill. Great internet. This unit is behind other units which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. All 3 parking spots in the driveway really should be free considering the rental is for multiple families.

Tiny Property with Excellent Location

Positives: The location of the beach house was perfect! Only two blocks from the beach! It was perfect for our group as we had two little ones with us and it minimized the need for us to drive. The property manager was also very responsive to our communications. Negatives: the house is TINY. My 6'3 husband had some adjusting to do throughout the course of the week. The bathroom was tiny and there was really no walking space in the bedrooms. Plus, only 1 bedroom had an AC. Also, the kitchen seemed dirty. All of the cookware seemed like it hadnt been cleaned in ages which was disheartening. The refrigerator seemed a bit dirty as well. We also discovered that the stove did not work. The shower curtain was pretty gross at the bottom as well. All in all, the house served its purpose though i think its probably better suited for college aged individuals who will eat out for most of their meals and only use the home as a place to rest and change outfits while spending time at the beach.

Needs a lot of cleaning and TLC

I use VRBO a lot and I have never been so happy to leave a home. The place is small but is a beach house so most time was spent outside. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The toilet was leaking from the bottom and spraying at our ankles when you flush it. We stayed there 4 nights and each day the bathroom would smell more and more. By the last full day....it felt no cleaner than a porta potty. I actually left the beach early to clean as much as I could because it was unbearable. I inboxed the owner and got no response. On top of that....the washer has standing water in it. The drain and spin cycle wont work. I put clothes in to wash before I noticed it so had to wring them all out. I had no idea where to put trash aside feom the tiny barrell outside. I left the trash outside once but the bag got ripped open by an animal. I of course picked it up and started using the front house barrell. I tried to message the host about the toilet and the washer not expecting anything to be done immediately but to get no response is wrong. I of course left the house as clean if not cleaner.

i NEVER write reviews but this is absolutely necessary. i’m shocked only one review mentions anything about the cleanliness… upon arrival at 6pm during an extreme heat wave- one air conditioner wasn’t working & the temperature inside the cottage was hotter than the outside temp. the fridge was completely covered w/ mold inside, wasn’t holding temperature and the door struggled to stay shut. bugs, cobwebs & dust everywhere. they let us move into their other property because they couldn’t fix these things. great. we repacked our stuff after completely unpacking and moved into the other property thinking we could finally enjoy our time. at 9am the next day, they contacted me saying they “didn’t realize we were staying 2 nights and unfortunately we have to move back into the other property by 10am”. they offered me a discount on my next stay that i politely declined because… after moving our stuff from property to property, being denied an extra night stay and a late check out.. they ended up giving me a minor refund. needless to say, i will not be returning here. the neighbors were great and the location was perfect but our experience was less than enjoyable. it’s unfortunate that people own properties and allow them to be so disgusting and charge people to stay in them. if you don’t like to clean, hire someone who does. it’s disrespectful to the people who are giving you hard earned money and asking for the bare minimum, a clean establishment.

A Great Stay

Some friends & I went to Hampton for the day and needed a place to stay for one night. Selina was very accommodating & the house was great for an evening. It is smaller than the pictures show, a classic tiny beach cottage. The location is great, just a few minute walk from the beach, boardwalk, and bars! Parking is tight but it was perfect to have the cars so close by. Check-in was very easy and the folks in the neighboring houses were great! I would stay here again if ever in need, the house was clean with plenty of room for my friends and I.
