Great space and location

This home is fabulous! It is very clean, beautifully decorated and has everything one could need on vacation. The site has spectacular views and amenities including a lovely dock to watch sunsets on.

We enjoyed our visit. The house was very nice and clean and in a beautiful, quiet location. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate, but we still had a relaxing trip.

Great Home in a Great Location

There were 7 adult family members in our party and we all loved this place. The open kitchen/dining/great room area was perfect for hanging out as a family, but one could always find a secluded place as well. The kitchen was well stocked and the home was immaculate. We arrived in the dark and were really wowed the next morning when we saw the view of the lake from the windows.

Immaculate getaway

This property is a gem! The house is beautiful and spacious, well supplied with the necessities, and in a wonderful location. The lake access is down a hill so a little challenging for the older members of our group, but the lake is lovely and the private dock is SPECTACULAR. We spent hours and hours out there and would go back in a heartbeat! I definitely recommend this property if you're looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway

Perfect peaceful place

The property was perfect. We had plenty of room for 5 adults. It was clean comfortable and close to anything that we needed. Stayed here for a long weekend to attend a nearby wedding. Would definitely come back if we had another opportunity

Family Christmas

The home was lovely with its mountaion theme, spaciousness and plentiful amenities. All guest felt comfortable in their respectful rooms. The neighborhood is gorgeous with trails and lakeviews. Great Weekend

We were in town for a soccer tournament and this home was perfect for two families. It allowed each family to have their own room and bathroom plus additional rooms/beds for the kids to have their space. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings. Everything you need is in the home and the views can’t be beat! Joe was quick to answer questions. Would absolutely return.

Family birthday celebration

This is a wonderful property. The setting with lake views is gorgeous. The house is beautifully furnished and everything looks brand new. We rented a pontoon boat from Rad’s Rentals (great people and well-maintained boat) and enjoyed the boat dock as a place to hang out as well as rotate folks riding in the boat. We were fortunate to have perfect fall weather for our weekend, but this house with its two fireplaces, large great room, and sun room, would be comfortable and cozy even if it was cold and rainy. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a place near Valdese!

What a beautiful home! Everything about our stay at your home was perfect! Very clean, well stocked, very comfortable and plenty of room for our family, and a spectacular view of the lake and pretty sunsets! I’m sure we will be back!

Great 4th of July Weekend!

We loved the home and the location. This home is newer and clean, with a great lake house feel. It is located on Lake Roadhiss with a beautiful dock. We were able to rent a boat for the day and dock right up to the private dock. We would definitely recommend it!

Incredible property!

Hard to put into words how thrilled we were with this property! The house was absolutely beautiful. Very clean. Everything was high end. Stocked with everything we needed for the week. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space, and the common areas were big enough for everyone to be together, too. The boat dock and swim deck were awesome! Deep enough to fish off of (caught mostly catfish) and jump into and calm enough to float around. We rented a pontoon from Castle Bridge Marina minutes away and pulled up to the dock to pick up the kids. (Larry at the Marina is the nicest person ever! And the boats are in great condition). Hickory is less than 30 minutes away with a lot of really good restaurants. We didn’t have any problems with the property, but when I asked Joe for some suggestions, he answered promptly. Such a quiet area, too. Not constant lake traffic like you find on more well known lakes. The only possible negative for some people with significant mobility issues is that the walk to and from the lake is a little steep. We are already talking about returning next year!

What a gem!

Property is new to the market so everything is in great condition. Owners have thoughtfully decorated and stocked the home with extra touches that make the stay even more comfortable. New addition of the boat dock is great! Will likely stay here again when we are back in NC.

Amazing Property

Beautiful home. Fully stocked with everything needed for a relaxing visit. Owner communication was excellent and house was in exceptional condition. I believe we were one of the first groups to rent. We will definitely be back!
