Welcome to our newly built (2021) Lake Hickory house & dock! Experience breathtaking waterfront views from our spacious deck, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the serene surroundings. This modern retreat offers a tranquil escape with its contemporary design and luxurious amenities. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee or unwinding with a glass of wine, the deck provides a stunning backdrop for your getaway. Our Lake Hickory home promises an unforgettable stay in a picturesque setting!
The space
Nobody deserves to sleep in a twin bed! :) So we have provided every person with a King or Queen bed! Finally, a rental home that feels like home.

The full house is available to guest, plus the luxurious dock.
Other things to note
The house is on the same plane as the lake, so no steps to access the water or the dock! Kayaks are provided, two kids and two adults. In addition, there are also a couple of inflatable tubes to enjoy while relaxing in the lake!

Boat Rentals are available at Lakeside Marina which is about 1 mile from the house on the water!

Beautiful Lake Property

A beautiful property that was perfect for our pre-Christmas family get together. Sparkling clean with everything you need in the kitchen and baths. Lots of toys that the littles loved. A very family friendly property. We loved being outside on the large deck when the weather permitted and are planning to come back in the months that we can enjoy all the lake has to offer.

Excellent Stay

This is the best property we've ever rented. From cleanliness, to comfort, and best of all just EVERYTHING was so thoughtful. (Kayaks, coffee, games, toddler toys,completely stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Just bring food, drinks, and clothes! There were even fishing poles in the boathouse. Excellent hosts!

Wonderful trip

This property is beautiful! We had such a great time- right on the lake. Tiffany and her husband were wonderful hosts. All amenities are there no need to go anywhere. Just sit and relax at the lake. It was clean and well kept. Great communication. Have a great first time in Hickory. Can't wait to go back!

Lovely house and stay

Beautiful home on Lake Hickory! Great views and dock. Well stocked home and kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Great place for a family get together.

Amazing Hangout!

We had a fantastic time staying at the Hangout! The location right on the lake was ideal with more than ample areas to hangout and enjoy the scenery. The whole house was well thought out and very inviting. Cooking in the kitchen was a delight and our one meal cooked outside on the Blackstone griddle was a first for us and very tasty! The weather was amazing for our stay, but even for the few hours we were forced indoors due to a late summer storm, we enjoyed watching the Olympics and playing games. Thank you so much for hosting us for a much needed relaxing and reconnecting weekend! Should we return to Lake Hickory we will definitely return!

Gem on Lake Hickory

Cozy new home right on lake with a 10-plus view. Featuring a huge deck with plenty of seating to relax. Beautifully decorated and a kitchen that is outfitted with everything you need. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds. W were able to rent a pontoon and tie up without any problem. Kayaks for use were enjoyed as well as swimming off the property. The Blackstone grill on the deck was a big plus due to the large cooking surface. No doubt we’ll plan to stay at The Hangout again.

Girls weekend

The house was perfect for our girls trip long weekend. The house has everything you need. The view is perfect. It rained most of the weekend but that did not spoil the fun.
