Rockport Breeze | Walk to Pier, Hot Tub + Pool!

Rockport Breeze is a nicely decorated studio ground floor unit of the newly remodeled Laguna Reef Condominiums. Relax in the hot tub overlooking Aransas Bay or cool off in the Laguna Reef swimming pool. Spend your evenings fishing from the 1000-foot lighted fishing pier and grill up your best catch at one of the outdoor grilling areas. This unit is on the parking lot side of the building. This cute condo has two queen sized beds to comfortably sleep four people. There is a flat screen cable TV across from the bed and a small table that has seating for two. A mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave are provided as well. This unit also has Wi-Fi! All linens and towels will be provided to you for your convenience. Guests will also have access to a quarter washer and dryer. Amenities at the Laguna Reef facility include a swimming pool, hot tub, 1000 ft. fishing pier with fishing lights, several shared charcoal grills, beautiful lagoon area at the water, and a large parking lot with plenty of space. Rockport Breeze is located near the Rockport Heritage District and Rockport Beach. Spend a day in the sun at the Rockport Beach where you can rent jet skis, swim with the kids, or grill up some food at one of the picnic areas. The Rockport Beach also allows fishing and gives you the option to purchase a day pass or an annual pass. There are two piers at Rockport Beach, the south pier is free, and the north pier has a beach admission fee. There is also a boat ramp. We have a list of fishing guides on our site as well. Downtown Rockport is filled with shops and restaurants if you feel like a night out and some fresh seafood on the water. Check out a list of restaurants in Rockport on our site under activities and attractions. If you feel like shopping then you can grab a cup of coffee at the Daily Grind and walk along Austin Street and visit the shell shops and cute clothing boutiques. This is also a prime location for birding! Little Bay has many protected areas for birds that you can enjoy while walking along the water. Rockport is home to many historical sights and parks as well, including the Fulton Mansion, Goose Island State Park, and The Texas Maritime Museum. The condo itself was wonderful. I didn’t know it was on the third floor though. The overflow parking directions weren’t very clear when given at licensing office—just park on grass. I parked on grass and almost got towed. The condo boasted gulf view but the balcony was off limits. The parking area was muddy.

Very Disappointed with our stay.

Very Disappointed with our stay. When we checked in on 6/15 we had a hard time unlocking the door on 115. The receptionist said to pull and put the code in. Tried for about 10 min and it finally opened this was 4pm. We told the receptionist that it opened but we could not lock it again. She said she would send maint. A little while later we asked and were told that maint would be there the next morning. Maint came by at noon and we told him we would let them know when we are up and dressed which we did on our way on our way to the peir. We returned to the room and the lock was not fixed. Later at 4:40 we asked the receptionist is the maint guy was coming back, and she said he fixed it.... I asked her to come and see if she can get it locked. She came to the room and was unable to lock it either. After the first night of not sleeping we decided to just go home because we could not sleep with the door unlocked all night. So we left Tuesday 6/16/16 around 6pm. Was very disappointed with the communication

Short get-away

My husband and I enjoyed our vacation. Our favorite part was the fishing pier. My only complaint would be that we had a room facing the parking lot, and the blinds do not provide total privacy. There were spaces that anyone walking by could see in. I don’t think I would have cared as much if we were bay side. It was perfect for a short get-away, but would have to consider a different room on the property to stay longer. The rooms were pretty clean for the price, but it definitely had that motel feel though. The lobby is very nice and the front desk was polite and helpful. It is really close to the shops, but had to drive 10 min to our favorite local eateries. Overall it was a good stay, and we will definitely consider coming back.
