The Sunrise Room is located at the completely remodeled Laguna Reef Condominiums is the perfect place to spend some quality time away from home. Whether you're fishing off the new 1000 ft lighted fishing pier or soaking up the sun and relaxing by the pool you are certain to enjoy your stay here! This ground floor room has two queen size beds and will sleep four people and is dog friendly with a two dog maximum. Sunrise Room also offers free internet and cable television. Along with a mini fridge/freezer and a coffee maker. Enjoy the relaxing coastal colors throughout the room and the spacious bathroom with a tub/shower combo as well. The Sunrise Room has a spectacular view of the water and is just a few steps from the hot tub and swimming pool. Amenities at the Laguna Reef facility include a swimming pool, hot tub, 1000 ft. fishing pier with fishing lights, several shared charcoal grills, beautiful grounds on the water, and a large parking lot with plenty of space. Laguna Reef is located near the Rockport Heritage District and Rockport Beach. Rockport is a charming coastal town with plenty of fun things to do including amazing restaurants and many local shops. Rockport Art Center, Maritime Museum, Boat Cruise to San Jose island, and Kayaking are just a few of the activities you can enjoy during your stay. You are sure to have an unforgettable stay at the Sunrise Room!

Great Place

Right on the water so waking up and having coffee outside and watching ships and boats go by was wonderful. Great private fishing pier as well! Will stay there again.

Great get away place.

We loved the Sunshine Room. It was perfect for us and our 2 Corgi's. It was so nice being on the bottom floor, with access to the outside yard. The property was wonderful, we did take advantage of the hot tub. The dock was great to take our dogs out on, and the street in from of the property was wonderful to walk them on. We will definitely be comiing back. The check-in process was very easy, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Love the cookie jar with dog treats in it. Perfect place to celebrate my birthday.

Perfect location

This was our first time to stay in this unit...for the most part it was perfect. The sheets were a little rough but the beds were extremely comfortable. My only problem was... i accidentally left my fitbit charger in the room. Housekeeping found it and turned it in. I was told it could be mailed back to me for a "small" fee. Four days later i was contacted and told it would be $25 to send it to me. Number 1 i couldn't wait my watch was dead. Number 2 I was able to buy TWO fitbit chargers for $9.99 on Amazon.

Short Summer Getaway

We stayed in #122. It was like a clean motel room with 2 queen beds, mini fridge, microwave, TV with cable, mini table for two, and on the porch there were two comfortable plastic rockers. We took our dog and the grassy area offered poop bags and a poop trash can. It also had some picnic tables that were nice but it doubled as the smoking area. Not bad because the area was fairly large. The easy to get to pier was really good for fishing. Pool area was clean. Only complaint…they need new mattresses. It was overly soft and lumpy. All else was good for a quick getaway.

Worst trip ever!

I will never return to this property. A pit bull killed another renters dog while there. The property management had no remorse as well as the family with the pit bull. Certain breeds should not be welcomed to a place like this where there is children and other pets. I know not all pit bulls fit in this category. Thie dog did not provoke this to happen. This was just a aggressive dog in the wrong place. Something that will be in my mind forever. Such a traumatic vision. So sad.

Great for a a couple with a doggy or two! Most friendly, professional, efficient staff I have seen! From front desk to grounds people to house keeping! Awesome! We decided to extend our stay for a couple of days and moved to a different room. I spoke to 3 different people at the front desk on 3 different shifts and it was very clear that the communication was very thorough! Everyone knew we were switching rooms and made it a very easy and quick but efficient move for us! I was very impressed!

Thanksgiving at Laguna Reef

My overall rating is good, and I have stayed here before just in other rooms and usually there are no issues. My problem with this stay had to do with the facilities. One of the main reasons I stay here is for the lighted fishing pier, pool, and hot tub. All of these were having issues during our stay. The pier lights were having issues and every night we were there, they had to call an electrician to get the lights turned on later than they should have and the pool and hot tub were not able to be used the first 2 days. This is a great property, but I do believe that if your main attractions are going to be closed or are having issues, you should let the people know ahead of time, or possible give a discount or something.

Nice weekend getaway

The room was nice as described. Fishing pier is great, pool was nice and we liked the room being pet friendly as we have a yellow lab that goes with us everywhere we travel. Would stay here again.

Relaxing Stay

Our accommodations were clean and inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and spa helped us refresh and relax in the evening. The location was perfect. I’d definitely stay again!

Wonderful room.

Wonderful room. May request same room when we return. Had what we needed and view was spectacular. The grounds look fantastic. The two grounds maintenance guys. (I believe thier names are Daniel and Rob) went above and beyond to keep the area clean and tidy. This made my overall experience at Laguna Reef much more pleasant. Will definitely come back as long as those two guys are still working there!! Great staff! The front desk staff was friendly and be very knowledgeable. Housekeepers were on top of thier game.
