Beach Oasis - Completely Renovated! Half Duplex, WIFI/TV, 1 mile to the Beach!

This home makes a great vacation rental due to its location West of the Trail and only 0.9 miles to the beach. Many great restaurants and shops are close enough to walk. It is centrally located on the Gulf Coast only 10 minutes south of Sarasota and very close to Osprey, Venice and Englewood and about half hour to Pt Charlotte and 50 min to Cape Coral / Ft Myers. This area and home did not get damage from hurricane Ian and the home is all newly renovated and updated with all new furnishings and electronics.
Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and coolers are on site and the home is well stocked for a comfortable stay. Laundry is on site also.

Vacation in Nokomis FL

The property was clean , comfortable, & convenient. It is very close to 2 & really 3 beaches ! It is close to many great Florida restaurants! It is decorated VERY NICELY. Often rentals have very poor lighting but this one has great lights & lamps & windows ! So good for reading !One issue : I asked VRBO if this unit provided beach chairs, they said YES , but there was only 1 very small , very close to the ground beach chair which did not fit our needs at all !!

PROPERTY OK, streaming tv ! The big issue told host ken brand will be leaving a day early, he said fine, will write me a check !!!! By the way, this was about 45 days, before check in date. Tried to reach him, a couple of times, Thursday 3/27 and Friday 3/28, called him, NO RETURN CALL Its one night he owes me, if hosts like that ??? Is VRBO gonna be responsible ????

A Non-Precocious Gem.

My wife and I went down for a week to get away from a horrible Virginia winter at least for a while. This condo is somewhat deceiving from the outside, but the interior and accommodations are all first rate. LVT flooring, solid surface counters in kitchen and bath, new stainless steel appliances, soft closing doors and drawers on kitchen cabinets and vanity, and a full tiled shower.. Add to that a lot of amenities, including toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, body wash, soap, dishwasher tablets, it really was quite impressive..

Cozy

Overall the condo was cozy, there were a few issues but nothing crazy. One issue is the shower panel… there isn’t a shower door just 24” panel and water gets all over the floor when showering. Another issue was one of the white towels had a few brown stains which was off putting. The closet doors kept coming off the tracks and were difficult to get to work properly. The bed as great! We absolutely loved that mattress! We would consider staying here again.

Owner isn't a nice human

We arrived to know hot water had to wait 3 days, constant trouble with the unit batteries and locks garbage disposal not working it went on and on. We left three nights early without refund from the terrible human that hung up on my husband.

Great Location, great place

The home was great. Had all we needed. Loved having beach items, chairs, umbrella and cooler. Convenient to everything. Walking and bike trails. Restaurants and even horse shows!! Will definitely rent in future!!

Beautiful Duplex - Close to Everything

This duplex was extremely clean and beautifully decorated with upscale furnishings. The bed was so comfortable! The host has supplied this unit with everything you need and then some! We were just a bike ride away from the beach and a short drive to Venice or Sarasota. Perfect location and the host was quick to respond.

My wife and I really liked the "beachy" decor. The unit was very well stocked with incidentals and was very clean upon arrival. Located in a quiet neighborhood and a little more than 1 mile to Nokomis Beach. Several other beachs to visit within a 20 minute drive.

Brand new with all the amenities

The house is well appointed and had the perfect Florida vibe! The house is centrally located and within a mile of the North Jetty and Nokomis Beach. Be sure to visit the South Jetty, downtown Venice and Detwiler's Farm Market. Ken and Rocky were great hosts! We hope to stay again! Thanks for the memories!

Beachy duplex

This little duplex was perfect for 2 people. The decor had a great beach cottage vibe. The air cooling unit was a little loud in the bedroom overnight and woke us every time it kicked on. My only suggestion is to extend the glass in the shower. We had to turn water pressure up on shower head in order to wash our long hair and the small glass wall could not contain the water. Otherwise, great location and was very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Super noisy AC/airflow thing in bedroom closet going off throughout the night, uncomfortable bed, lukewarm shower water. Very disappointed. Left for home a day early.

Cute and Comfortable

The apartment is modern and very nicely decorated. I liked that it was pet friendly and a very short drive to downtown Venice. The only negative for the location is the lot on the left side which is used by a large container company. One day they were unloading the giant containers and it was literally shaking the house and scaring my dog. I think they were just getting setup so maybe this was a one time issue. That may not look great, but the house is actually in a very nice and walkable neighborhood. I met a wonderful, friendly neighbor while walking my dog and just about everybody driving by waved to me. The bed was super comfy, as was the sofa and chairs and the kitchen had everything I needed. Thanks Ken!

“CHECKS ALL THE BOXES”

My wife and I recently purchased E-Bikes and have been researching bike trails in Florida. We saw that The Legacy Trail was located in Venice and since we also have family that recently purchased a condo in the same area, we thought we would give Venice a try. Looking into places to stay that might be close to the trail, we found this property with the dates we were looking for available. We booked the property and almost instantly got a response back from the owner, Ken who thanked us for booking with him. Not only was Ken super responsive in answering any of our questions, the whole process was perfect. This house was super clean (a HUGE deal for us), newly renovated with all new appliances and furniture just as the listing states and very close to the bike trail and many great restaurants right on the water. Thank you Ken for opening up your home to us and being so kind…we will definitely look into your property again when we return the area. VRBO is lucky to have you, Laura

Great choice

The property met the expectations from the pictures and was a great spot to stay if you need to be in this area. The interior was nicely decorated in a beach theme. The kitchen has appropriate appliances and supplies. The property is a typical "Old Florida" type of place. It's not huge and the bathroom is small. This is how houses were built and people lived before everything was supersized. That being said, it was perfect for the wife and I. I wouldn't bring 4+ people as it would be too cramped. There is a two-bedroom next door that would be great for that. It is too far to walk to the nearest beach with your beach gear. I did a jog there and that was fine. Easy to get to by car though. There are beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a small cooler. No beach wagon but easy enough to carry your stuff in the car and down to the beach. There are a number of restaurants close by. There were a couple of small minor issues (slow drain, need of a power strip) that Ken said were being taken care of when we left. We appreciated him getting back to us quickly on a couple of questions. We would stay again on another trip.

Central to everything in southwest Florida we are five minutes to beaches, close to the popular Legacy Trail, shopping, dining, golf, fishing, jet ski rentals and kayaking. The home is newly renovated, quiet with hurricane windows, newly furnished and extremely clean. The home is well stocked for your convenience so you can relax and enjoy your time in the sun. Coffee and tea, all the cooking basics are there. Comfortable beds, wifi and cable, office space, usb ports, we want our guests to be comfortable. We also do not have ring cameras for your privacy.

This is a duplex so if you want to book w a friend or family or have additional guests the other side can be booked as well. Unit A is listing number 3153877 for booking inquiries and it sleeps up to 7 but most comfortable for 4 to 6 guests. Please note that the units do not join anywhere inside so if children are staying, each side would require an adult since the sides are quite private from one another.
