Coppertop Mountain House is a unique and very charming mountain house with inspiring views, warmth and character. Nestled among the aspen & pine trees it offers everything you need for an unforgettable summer or winter vacation in Steamboat Springs, Colorado for stays of a minimum of 30 days.

This traditional mountain home is located in the Tree Haus subdivision, only a mile across the valley from the Steamboat ski area. It has 4 bedrooms; 4 bathrooms and will sleep 11 people if family room futons are used. In summer enjoy lazing the day away with a beverage in a lounge chair on one of the expansive decks while the steaks are grilling. In summer and winter relax in the hot tub among the aspen trees, marveling at all the beauty Colorado has to offer.

The Master bedroom has a Queen bed, walk in closet, and is open to the living room’s fantastic views. There is a 2 person sauna in the adjoining bathroom, and dual ceiling fans.

The second bedroom has 3 extra long twin beds for the kiddos or young adults.

The third bedroom has a Queen bed and opens to the hot tub and quiet solitude sitting among the aspen and evergreens.

The fourth bedroom has a Queen bed, a separate kitchenette, and a separate entrance if desired.

Upstairs there is a galley style kitchen with dual electric ovens. The upstairs living room provides inviting seating in front of the copper accented wood fireplace, and dramatic views of the Steamboat ski mountain. The dining room has seating for 8 adults. The downstairs family room has a 75" DVD TV, bar with seating for 4, a dining table with seating for 6, a commercial grade Espresso machine, and a kitchenette with countertop grill perfect for cooking up hearty mountain breakfasts for your gang while they prep for an active day in the great outdoors. There is also a full-sized foosball table and mini pool table for the young at heart. Throughout the house there are 5 TVs with DirecTV and several DVD players.

The Coppertop Mountain House is equipped with complimentary high speed Internet, 2 wood fireplaces, a gas BBQ grill, large private hot tub, and 3 large decks. The yard is huge and has swings and a play platform for the kids in the summer, and great open space to make a snow man, a sled run, or have a friendly snowball fight in the winter - let them enjoy play time, while you are enjoying a soak in the hot tub. The yard also has great views of the valley and ski mountain.

Charming, wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at this house! We stayed for three weeks with our 3 & 4 year old. We also had friends join us in the house for “2” days that turned into 7, because they loved it so much and there was enough space that we didn’t get sick of each other. The house itself is laid out so that you can have a large family here and everyone has enough space. It is a great place to have a couple of different generations in the same home, complete with books, games and Legos. Everything we possibly could have wanted was provided and I thoroughly appreciated the fact that this is actually someone’s vacation home and they use it as a second family home. So many of the rentals now are without character and we loved that THIS home was full of heart and history. We saw moose several different days in the backyard, and saw bears a few times as well! Deer were always around and staying at this house enhanced our stay in Steamboat so much! I will never forget my kids saying that “we see animals every day at ‘our Steamboat house’!” We found the owners to be absolutely welcoming, and could not have appreciated them more. It is such unique space; as we were packing our car to leave, some people biking by were saying “Look at that house, it’s so cool” and we confirmed to them that yes, it really is! We enjoyed the hot tub every single day, the views of hot air balloons, and riding bikes to the grocery store, downtown, and to the base area on the mountain. Book it!
