The perfect getaway

House very clean and convenient for my husband and me. The kitchen well equipped and very nice appliances even down to nice silverware.The solar heated pool averaged 84 degrees and very clean. In summary, owners attention to detail and we would definitely stay again.Sharon from Michigan

Centrally Located, mature landscaping

We stayed January & February 2025. The property was centrally located, close to all shopping and restaurants. The property has beautiful flowering trees. The pool is solar heat and not electric. Which meant it was too cold to swim during most of our stay.The property owner was quick to answer any question or concerns I had.

Superb Home

We stayed a week and would love to return. Highly recommend this home as it is exceptionally clean, well stocked and decorated. Basket of goodies on the coffee table is a nice touch. Nice heated pool under lanai is great for relaxing and enjoying the day. A+ accommodations!

This was an excellent experience!

The property is beautiful, clean, and quiet. The Robinsons have stocked the house with anything a guest might need, and they are super responsive and friendly when a guest has questions. We would definitely go back again.

Easter Trip

Had a great time. The property was really nice and clean. We really enjoyed the pool, landscaping is beautiful. It was close to everything. The owners were very good at getting back to us when we had a question.

Great place with easy access to multiple things to do

We stayed here over our Christmas holiday week. The house is great with a ton of amenities to make your stay comfortable. Our only issue was the pool was chilly so no swimming for us. Overall, it is a fabulous place in a nice neighbourhood and close to a ton of places to see and things to do. We would go back to this house if we ever choose Port Charlotte again for a vacation.

Very comfortable and well stocked. Nice hosts!

Very nice and we would definitely rent again except we ended up buying a house in Rotonda West on this visit! The location is about 5 minutes from big box stores and Publix. the beds are very comfortable. The couches and are very comfortable. Towels and bedding are all nice and comfortable . Beach , pool towels available along with chairs and rafts, corn hole etc. The kitchen is exceptionally stocked for cooking just about anything. There was a nice array of basic spices and coffees when we arrived, also plenty of toilet paper and paper towels so that was very helpful. The music/sound system and the TV are very confusing. We never figured either one out. There are lots of games, books and puzzles. Be aware that the pool is solar heated therefore the temperature cannot really be controlled so in colder months it's really not usable

Enjoyed our stay

Our stay at Serenity Palm was very nice. The house was clean and comfortable. While we couldn’t use the pool because the weather didn’t cooperate it looked very clean and the grounds and plants around the pool were pretty. The house is well stocked with the essentials. We’ll be back! Now back to the snow!

Winter Getaway

We had a great month at Serenity Palms. Our group of 4 enjoyed the outdoor area by the pool most of all. The home was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Donna and John are great hosts. Quick responses to our questions. We had one issue with the pool filter and they took care of it right away. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone going to the Port Charlotte area.

Extremely clean

Very well maintained home. They have a weakly pool service, very nice mature gardening. There was a gift basket of goodies, as well as a nice assortment of coffees to try with their Kureig. We would definitely book again! Sandy Stutes

Perfect

Everything about this property is exactly as it is stated on the website. John and Donna were very receptive to any questions we had. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need for your stay, if you feel like eating in. There are plenty of places to eat near there and shopping is very convenient also. It's a very quiet area. The beds were excellent and everyone slept well. We enjoyed the heated pool especially with this cold as it was. There's lots of games to play, bikes to use, even fishing gear if you feel up to it. Just a great experience.

Thoughtful Hosts, Beautiful Home

The care that John and Donna put into hosting made this trip feel like staying with old friends. The house itself is tucked away into a quiet neighborhood and one evening we took out the bikes provided by the hosts and explored the secluded streets. John and Donna thought of everything; the amenities, from everything you’d need for the perfect beach day (umbrella, cooler, towels, etc.) to a peaceful day in the backyard pool was provided. Speaking of, the pool was a little slice of heaven. We spend several hours each morning eating and reading poolside. Back inside, you’d find small touches like a locally-made salt scrub in the bathroom and a cozy blanket basket in the living room. Each of these meaningful details eased us into vacation mode and made the trip smooth and enjoyable. Additionally, the guest guide provided in-depth information on all of the attractions in the area. We checked out three of their recommended beaches and loved all of them, finding them to be more private than the beaches recommended by Google. We also tried one of their recommended restaurants, Laischley’s Crab House, which made for a lovely night out. We also enjoyed walking around Fisherman’s Village, a cute waterfront area across the harbor. Clearly, these two know the best local spots. Overall, our stay added to the feeling of restfulness, like someone had thought of everything needed to enhance your peace of mind. We would absolutely recommend staying if you’re looking to visit SW Florida.

Our family recently moved to SW Florida, and just love all that it has to offer! We are hoping that our home in Port Charlotte will become your favorite vacation retreat! We fell in love with this home the minute we walked in, and we knew it would afford others to share in our experience of the SWFL lifestyle. I have been in the Real Estate business for 14 years, and my husband is a self employed handyman. We have 5 children and we are about to have our 5th grandchild. We are very excited to begin the journey of renting our vacation home, and will strive to accommodate each guest to have the perfect stay.

This house just feels like home. The yard is simply beautiful, with palm trees and landscaping that give you the feel of Florida. Outdoor living is one of the best perks of where we live, and this house offers the best of that. The screened in lanai with dining area, lounge chairs and heated pool will offer hours of enjoyment. You can also stroll to the backyard to another seating area under the palm trees. The split bedroom floor plan allows for guests to have their own space. All of the other amenities you would expect in a home are spot on. We have a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, sitting/family room looking out to the lanai, garage and very large governors driveway for parking convenience.

Our house is situated in a neighborhood that is perfect for bike rides, walks or just a relaxing stay. It is a 3 mile drive to groceries, shopping and restaurants. Just across the bridge to one of our favorite towns, Punta Gorda. This charming town is on the water with so much to do and see, definitely one of the best attractions. I also love that it is located so close to your choice of several beaches. Englewood beach, Boca Grande or Venice beach are all about a 35-40 minute drive. Beautiful Siesta Key is just about an hour away, as well as Ft. Myers beach. This central location to so many lovely beaches gives our guests the option to really explore the best spots around. We will be offering both in season and off season pricing, so there will be options for every traveler. We hope you will give us a try, and give us the opportunity to make us your go to vacation home.
