Good quiet stay.

We stayed 2 nights and had a great time relaxing together. Water pressure was low but it was still a good stay.

Hemlock

It was a wonderful experience for our first time being at Hocking hills! Cabin was isolated from other cabins to enjoy piece and quit. Nice family get away. Definitely will be coming back

Clean, quiet getaway

The cabin was as expected. Steep driveway but not a problem. Cabin was clean it had everything you would need for a weekend trip. All and all my family had a great time.

Disappointment

Great area with great views, but the disappointment starts as soon as you open the door. I'm not overly picky but the FLOOR is slanted so bad on the main floor and in the loft that it is hard to keep your balance. It doesn't feel safe as well when you are walking through the loft. Other than that it was clean.

All amenities not provided.

Location was beautiful, cabin was clean and inviting. The hot tub would not get warmer than 85 degrees, so unable to use. I emailed and got little or no response, no assistance,we did not get to enjoy this perk. Also stated there was Direct TV, however there was no Direct TV remote. We did however get to watch a couple of dvd movies. movies

Hot tub didn't work

Nice cabin, great location, definitely need 4 wheel drive like the owner said. Quiet place. The hot tub wasn't working when we got there. We called the owner and they said to check the breaker box. We did and got it to work but then it stopped working and we couldn't get it to work the rest of our stay. I reached out and asked for a partial refund and have gotten no response.

It was a cute cabin but needs a lot of maintenance

We arrived Friday and the check in was very easy but once we entered the cabin we realized very fast how old the cabin was WHICH IS NOT A PROBLEM! We loved how unique it was. But the slope in the floors could use a little check LOL the floors were dirty as if nobody swept. The water pressure in the cabin made it difficult for anyone to shower or do dishes because it is so low. When we went to use the hot tub we realized it was horribly dirty to the point stuff was floating around in the water. We called the next morning and they never sent anyone until 5pm to drain and refill to the point we couldn’t even use it during our stay. We hope the next person isn’t so unlucky.

Two cabins are being built and lane is narrow to the Hemlock cabin. No where to go when an upcoming work truck is making its way up the road. Road in my opinion is dangerous and website should say take a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

The Hemlock at Tuttle Hill Cabin

Turtle Hill cabinI just wanted to say thank you for our stay at the Tuttle Hill cabin, the Hemlock, however we are very disappointed for false advertising. The first night we got there, the cabin was very cold, the hot tub was at 45. I kept in touch with the main office and informed them about the issues we are having at the cabin. The fireplace did not work out, the pilot light was out and nobody came to fix it during our stay at the cabin. The heating in the cabin got better the 2nd day and hot tub was good for one day then it would not go up 84 that’s not a hot tub temperature should be higher but the thermostat is broken and when we tried the get the temperature up was actually going down so I definitely suggested that you get that fixed. Out of four nights, we did enjoy one , not even my dog enjoyed it so I had to send her back to the city with my in-laws. That can tell you something. This cabin needs some love and attention, everything is outdated . We rented this cabin mostly to enjoy the hot tub, but did not happen as much as we wanted to. Next time I will prefer to pay more money for a place that offer a true listing.
