The cabin was very hot when we checked in and it took awhile for the window air conditioners to cool it so they brought us a couple of fans to help out ( we had a pet with us) within 5 min. of calling them. Staff is very nice. Cabins are comfy and cute but could use an extra blanket and pillow or two so bring some if you think you might need them. We had some spiders in the cabin but that’s what happens in the woods. VERY convenient location, within 20 -30 min. of all the trails and Lancaster, Athens. The lake with a clean beach and restrooms is only 1 mile away and we would cool off in there after our hikes. The grill and firepit were both very conveniently on our deck. Some pits are not though.

Can't wait to come back.

We really enjoyed the stay. The cabin was well equipped, very spacious and a lot of fun! Our only issue would be that it needed more seating than just a futon. It forces you outside but the weather disnt fully cooperate for us on that. We look forward to coming back!!
