Convenient and Comfortable Stay in Hyde Park

Our stay in Hyde Park was very convenient for our family's travels. The home was well-located, making it easy to explore the area. We had a minor issue with check-in, but the host communicated well and resolved it quickly. There was a brief visit from the police due to a noise complaint, but it turned out to be the wrong building, so no further issues there. Overall, it was a decent experience, and we would stay again.

Not recommend .

We booked 3 nights stay with my family and friends family. Our stay was disappointing for several reasons. The check-in took longer than expected because we had to try multiple locks to get the key and then had another issue opening the door. We also had no Wi-Fi throughout our stay which was an inconvenience and when we contacted the host nothing was done. Additionally, the dining room was too small for our group of 11 with a table that couldn’t accommodate everyone. Additionally, the floors throughout the property were sticky which made the place feel dirty and the host provided a partially used roll of paper towel and about a third of another.

Certainly not the best

The check-in process was straightforward, and the host was quite responsive to our inquiries. The location of the property is excellent, providing easy access to nearly everything you might need. Unfortunately, the condition of the property was disappointing. The floors were in poor shape, with noticeable caving in certain areas, and the radiators were leaking, which added to the overall neglect. The beds were unacceptable, completely marred by unsightly stains, and the walls were grimy. The couch was heavily stained, making it uncomfortable to use. To make our stay somewhat tolerable, we brought our own cleaning supplies to address these issues.I strongly recommend that the owner do a thorough deep cleaning of the mattresses and invest in mattress protectors to cover them before putting sheets on. The couch would greatly benefit from a steam cleaning, and the walls should be wiped down to improve the overall cleanliness. Given the price I paid, I expected at least a clean environment. Another drawback was the lack of amenities; there was only one television in the entire property and just a loveseat for seating. This forced us to move chairs from the dining room. The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, so we resorted to using our phone's hotspot for internet access. The property was sparsely furnished, which contributed to a less-than-ideal experience. I would not consider booking this property again. However, if cleanliness is not a major concern for you the location may work.
