Not what we expected…..
The master bathroom shower was scalding with no way to cool it down. We called Pajaro Dunes Resort, and a plumber said he would need to replace something, but it would require turning off the water. We were told this on Tuesday morning. We finally heard back from another different plumber who came out and changed a screw, fixing the problem on Thursday afternoon. There were six of us using the smaller bathroom shower until the final day of our stay on Friday. This was inconvenient and unacceptable. We were charged as if our condo had two full functioning bathrooms.
Additionally, the carpet leading to the guest room was ripped to shreds and tacs were trying to hold it together, making the entry uncomfortable on tender feet. We expected the place to be in good repair. It was not.
Also, the bathroom floors were not clean when we arrived. It is disgusting to find pubic hairs and dirt along the edges of the floors. There was no place to hang bath towels, so we ran them through the laundry every day. Not something we planned on our vacation.
The master bed was so high off the ground, that I found it hazardous due to my 5ft. 7in. Height, so I slept on the sofa all four nights. My husband was able to use the tall bed since he is over 6 feet tall. Advance warning would have had us choose another rental. The bed was actually a couple inches higher than the dining room table….we measured it.
I must say we will look elsewhere for our next trip to the beach.
