Goose Island is known for its industrial history and is home to a number of manufacturing and distribution companies. However, in recent years, the area has also seen a growth in residential and commercial development, including loft-style apartments, trendy restaurants, and breweries.

Despite being an industrial area, Goose Island is still close to many of the attractions of the Near North Side, including the Magnificent Mile and River North's dining and nightlife scene. It's also conveniently located near public transportation options, making it easy to get around the city.

North Branch Chicago Riverwalk: A beautiful riverfront park with walking and biking paths, green spaces, and stunning views of the Chicago River.

Goose Island is a neighborhood located on the Near North Side of Chicago, and there are several transportation options to get there from the airport and downtown:

From O'Hare International Airport:

- Taxi/rideshare: Taxis and rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are readily available from O'Hare, but the ride can be expensive due to the distance.
- CTA train: The Blue Line train runs from O'Hare to downtown Chicago, where you can transfer to the Brown Line train or bus routes that will take you to Goose Island. The total cost is $5, and the trip takes about 60-90 minutes.

From Midway International Airport:

- Taxi/rideshare: Taxis and rideshare services are available from Midway, but the ride can be expensive.
- CTA train: Take the Orange Line train from Midway to downtown Chicago, then transfer to the Brown Line train or bus routes that will take you to Goose Island. The total cost is $2.50, and the trip takes about 45-60 minutes.

From downtown Chicago:

- CTA train/bus: Several CTA bus routes run through Goose Island, and you can also take the Brown Line train. A one-way fare on the CTA is $2.50.
