Located in Mark Twain's boyhood hometown, and Major League Hall of Famer Jake Beckley's hometown, this property is nestled in the town's western edge in a peaceful, mature neighborhood, just 5 minutes to the hospital, 7 minutes to downtown, and less than 5 minutes to Walmart. This is really the ideal and optimal short term rental for the traveling nurse, doctor, other medical professionals. First priority will be given to medical professionals, as they have the opportunity for month-to-month lease agreements, at a significant discount from the nightly rate. Corporate Executives wanting a piece of home life and not the hotel life will also greatly appreciate this space. The pool has been removed and converted to an outdoor gathering area with fire pit. The basketball court allows the occupant to get outdoor recreation time without having to go to the gym. This is my childhood home, so please respect it as you would your own. The home is fully furnished, with kitchenware to prepare any meals (food not provided). Pets of any kind are not allowed indoors due to family member allergies. Thanks for looking!

I'm originally born and raised in Hannibal, now living in the South. My family does travel up to the house and uses the downstairs "apartment" - as well as the outdoor areas. I'm a Workplace Safety Professional (Safety Man) by trade, so if a legitimate hazard is discovered by the renter, the concern will be addressed promptly. This is my childhood home, so I ask that you please respect the property, as if it were your own. Enjoy your stay, and help yourself to the tomato garden!

You might see deer 🦌 walking behind the basketball 🏀 court, you should see an abundance of birds 🐦, chipmunks 🐿️, squirrels 🐿️, rabbits 🐇...the ducks 🦆 from the neighborhood pond might even walk across the yard during the summer (feel free to feed them bread, they are definitely not scared of humans).

Located in a mature, well-manicured part of town, with a nicely kept neighborhood pond. It's 5 minutes from the hospital, 4 minutes to Walmart, and 3 minutes from the pizza joint Cassanos. Less than 10 minutes from the riverfront, where large river boats with passengers dock during the summer. Easy access to Highway 61 and Interstate 72 (2 minutes to either one).
