Upon your arrival at 31 Sunshine, Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546 you'll walk up one exterior step to the front door landing. Once you enter the front door you'll find the entire property on the ground level.

PLEASE NOTE:
* Properties are prepared for arrival with professionally laundered and sanitized linen, bedding and towels:
- Beds are made with a mattress cover, fitted sheet, a down free comforter in between two flat sheets and pillowcases on the pillows. For the Queen size sofa pull out sleeper; all will be found on its sofa.
- Towels provided for your stay will be found in each full bathroom with a bathmat.
* Hand soap, body wash, lotion, toilet tissue, facial tissue, paper towel, trash can liners, dish towel, kitchen sponge, liquid dish soap, dishwasher pods and laundry detergent pods will be found throughout the property
* There is no air conditioning.
* Pets are not allowed.
* Images shown were taken prior to COVID-19 preparation done in June 2020

Adequate Accommodations If You Don’t Mind

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very dated and rundown. Appliances are ancient and barely work. The local hot tubs and gym facilities are pretty gross. Sorry for the bad review. The property was surely in its heyday in the circa 1970’s and we had a good time skiing Mammoth. But I would pay a few extra bucks next time for a nicer place.

Reviewer Comments: Generally 5 stars, but property at 31 Sunshine was hard to find; unit numbers are not on the building (only at the door); access to the front door via a sidewalk is closer to Gold Hill than from Sunshine.

Sunshine 31 is a bit run down

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Appliances and furnishings in this particular unit are decades old. Stove only had one working burner. I’ve stayed in other Snowcreek units that are much nicer. Overall Snowcreek is a great place to stay.

Welcome to 1975

Wow….we absolutely love Snowcreek and visit 4-5 times annually. This was our first visit to 31 Sunshine. I believe it is owned by Snowcreek Properties. Totally disappointing! It was like being airdropped into 1975. Oven, stove, dishwasher, and washer/dryer were literally original appliances. Totally overpriced for Snowcreek. Do better Snowcreek Properties.

Unclean and Very Dated

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was unclean. Furniture and appliances are very old. The Screen door and Sliding Door to the outdoor porch was broken. Neither one would lock. We called property management and she told me that they would either insert a stick to keep someone from entering the condo, or leave it outside our front door. This never happened. The surrounding property at Snow Creek Rentals is beautiful and is what attracted us to the property. Drapes and Couches were dirty and everything in the condo was very dated! Would not recommend. We stayed in the Sunshine #31 unit.

The pics say it all (old) but can't beat the proximity to Spa

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Oddly, the rental only gives one towel per guest. We had to buy towels to use in the spa (there may have been a missed warning about this). The "Owner" closet in the master bedroom has some alarm inside set to go off at 6AM every morning. Comfortable, but with ancient and barely hanging in there appliances/fixtures. Very rudimentary kitchen utensils. In other words, not great if you plan to cook. Could use a variety of pillows instead of all being very dense (bring your own)

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was fine, except this: the shower hot water was set extremely high, and the shower control faucet needs replacement. It slips in and out of engagement in controlling temperature & flow. Both of us [adults in our 60s] had brief encounters with scalding water. We reacted quickly. Others, including children, might not act so quickly. This needs immediate attention. Otherwise, everything was fine. We hope to return [to fish Hot Creek] next fall. The email prior to arrival was very helpful along with the closing email. We like the location off Old Mammoth Rd., near Vons.

GREAT! Better than the photos!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were pleasantly surprised! The place was amazing, nicer than the photos and sparkling clean! The photos are nice but the unit was more than expected. We rent places in Mammoth often and this management company thought of everything down to the fire starter and matches. The kitchen is stocked with all utensils/pots/etc for cooking. The bedroom is big with a very comfortable king bed. Everything was great. Thank you for allowing us to use your home. It is nice to go back to a comfortable place after two perfect days of skiing!

Comfortable but outdated

Property review

Extremely Disapointing!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Price was ok. Everything else was subpar. Starting with the management office who sent us "instructions" containing a location link that was not working, to wrong mapping in google maps, to delayed texting with management ( they do not use phone communication), to complete darkness making impossible to find our location ( one out of 500), to the realization that our lodging was changed by the management without notifying us: a 2 hour nightmare in subfreezing temperatures in the dark!!! Unpacking brought to screeching halt by realizing that out of the 2 closets available, one was locked with a "owners usage only" and the other one was full with plastic bags full of ?????? And that was day 1. Day 2: -Microwave broken, replaced by one that was defective (tray not rotating). -Toilette immediately clogged by normal use. -Shower from ****, giving 2 settings: scorching or freezing, spritzing uncontrollably while literally drenching the whole bathroom in water. I guess because being part of the 60s appliances combo.... -Everything inside old, scuffed, outdated. If you can scratch another 20-30$/night, do yourself a favor, book somewhere else...
