Wonderful 5 star stay

Our family (including our dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, well-appointed home! It had everything we needed - plus a hot tub! The dog friendly beach was a short walk away - and Caps (a very nice restaurant) was even closer. We would definitely book this place in the future if our travels bring us to St Augustine again!

Awesome, Relaxing Stay

This house was amazing for a family beach vacation, it is the perfect walk to the beach, a short walk to a restaurants. The beach was not over crowded at all so it was very relaxing and you didn’t have to worry about where you are gonna set up your towels and chairs. This house also came with a lot of cooking utensils, pots and pans, etc for making dinner at home as well . I would totally recommend this house and plan on coming to it again! 10/10!

Beautiful property just a short walk to Vilano Beach!

We are frequent visitors to St. Augustine and have rented quite a few VRBOs throughout the area over the years. As I was searching for a place to stay over spring break, Key Lime Cottage popped up. It looked super cute but I was very hesitant to book it since it only had 3 reviews at the time. I’m SO happy that I gave it a chance! The house was immaculately clean, well-decorated, and had everything we needed. At one point my son cut his finger fishing and needed a bandaid, and lo and behold there was even a stocked first aid kit in one of the bathrooms. Beds were comfy, towels were plushy, and hot tub was so relaxing at the end of the day! House is just a short walk to the beach. Bikes, beach chairs, body boards were all there for us to use as well. St. Augustine town is about a 10 minute drive south, and we went there a few times during our stay. If you don’t feel like driving into town for dinner, Caps Restaurant is a short walk from Key Lime Cottage. I recommend getting there a bit before sunset so that you can watch the sun go down while you’re enjoying your dinner. The food is awesome and it’s one of our favorite restaurants in the area. Raintree restaurant is another favorite of ours, it is a short drive over the bridge from the house. Very easy drive from the house. Anyway, you really can’t go wrong with this house and I highly recommend Key Lime Cottage!

Absolutely Amazing Property

I give this home a solid 10!! It was absolutely beautiful. The host (Holly) was simply amazing. She texted us on everything we asked and even kept us aware of things happening to keep us informed. You will not need to bring ANYTHING but yourselves and your clothes. This beautiful house had absolutely everything you would ever need and more. If I could live here all the time, this is what I would envision for my own home. The backyard was fenced in for the dogs and they absolutely loved it. You are only a few blocks from beach with easy access and there are carts for you to use to stroll over with your items. I Absolutely Most Definitely Recommend this home for anyone who is looking. The open floor plan makes it feel large and the décor is just beautiful. I hope to stay again...the beaches are beautiful and if you walk through the woods, you are at Caps Restaurant and can enjoy a great meal. I’d love to see a golf cart to use, that is the only thing I would change...but you don’t need it (we just had older parents with us), but other than that, this home and host absolutely made our vacation. Thanks for making us feel at home and having us!

Keylime Cottage offers the comforts of home and a place to unwind and enjoy down time with family and friends. This home is located in beautiful North Vilano beach between the white sand beaches on the Atlantic and intracoastal waterway. Walk or bike to the beach (0.3 mi or 7 minute walk). The home is just steps away from waterfront dining at the famous Caps on the Water. A short walk or drive from oceanfront dining at The Reef. The home is located in a safe and quite residential area. North Vilano Beach is perfectly located for exploring historic downtown St Augustine at just a 7-10 minute drive.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The exterior of this coastal cottage welcomes you to Florida with Key West colors of turquois and lime green and palm trees in the front yard. Only two steps bring you up to the front porch with a comfy bench. When you enter the home, you are welcomed into a spacious open concept living area with tons of natural light connected to the modern kitchen and dining area. The living area provides ample space and seating to relax, chat, watch TV, play games and enjoy the company of family or friends who have joined you on the trip.
Prepare a meal in your well stocked kitchen to share with others. The pantry contains some staples including spices, cooking oil and individual condiment packets (Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo, Tabasco Sauce and Soy Sauce). Publix grocery is a short 8-minute drive to the Vilano Town Center where you can purchase anything else you might need. The dining table seats 6 comfortably and there are four additional seats at the kitchen island bar. Don't feel like cooking? Take a short 5-minute walk through the wooded path at the end of the cul de sac and enjoy waterfront dining at Cap's on the Water.
At the end of a long day, relax in the hot tub and then rest easy in the comfy beds provided.
For a pick-me up in the morning, both Keurig and drip coffee makers, coffee, sugar and creamer provided. Various teas are also available in the pantry. (Please be advised that approximately a one week supply of coffee is provided. Guests with extended stays may need to purchase additional coffee and creamer).
This home also includes everything you might need for the perfect day at the beach. Bicycles with an optional beach cart, a beach wagon, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, a beach tent and small coolers.
