Friends getaway

We enjoyed our weekend away here as friends. The beds were comfy and the house was clean. The outdoor seating and fire pit are were great. Things that could have improved our stay: a better stock kitchen, and the domes were to dirty to see out of at night.

Disappointing Stay: Issues with Cleanliness, Lighting, and Amenities" Disappointing Stay

The property didn’t meet our expectations. Some areas that could use improvement include: -The domes were not as clean as expected, and visibility at night was limited. -The location, being close to the intersection of Baldwin Road and Highway 48, meant traffic noise throughout the day and night. -The water body on the property seemed stagnant and attracted mosquitoes, making it difficult to enjoy water activities. -The canoes on-site appeared more for display, as the water didn't seem suitable. -Outdoor lighting was minimal, with only motion-sensor lights attached to the cottage walls, making it difficult to relax outside after dark. -The grill area lacked lighting, and we had to use a camping light to cook. -The $1500 deposit and extensive house rules made the experience feel a bit more stressful than relaxing. -Although the host was attentive to house rules, communication regarding issues like the cleanliness of the domes was handled through automated responses. -We also noticed the chopping board splinters, which could potentially cause injury. While the property has potential, these details impacted our stay.
