En vacker, charmig, året runt stuga vid södra spetsen av sjön Simcoe (Cook's Bay) på Balfour Beach Road. Ta dig bort från det livliga stadslivet och slappna av i vår bekväma, familjedrivna stuga.

Balfour Beach är ett privat samhälle bara 45 minuter norr om Toronto med många gemensamma bekvämligheter, inklusive privat strand, lekplats, beachvolleyboll och bryggor på sommaren.

Det finns oändliga möjligheter att njuta av utomhus och sjö. Gå vandring, fiske och simning. Vi är också i närheten av golfbanor och mini-put, Sibbald's Point Provincial Park, en retro biograf och barer och restauranger.

På vintern kan du njuta av en populär isfiskeplats med enkel tillgång till sjön. Cooks Bay, ett gruntare område av sjön, är känt för abborrefiske.

Lake Simcoe get away

Wonderful stay, as advertised and exceptionally clean. Definitely a retro feel, and very roomy. Exactly what we were looking for, to share a cottage experience like we had when we were children with our kids. Will definitely book again.

Cute cottage

Spacious and well equipped with comfy beds and pillows Close to a nice beach and playground with some play equipment in the yard as well. We had a couple of very active children with us and the cottage was roomy enough for us to relax while they played. The kids loved the 2 sets of bunk beds! We would definitely rent again if we are in the area

Fishing weekend

We enjoyed our stay it met our expectations, we were there for a fishing weekend and everything worked out good. We are interested in staying again next year at the same time.

Perfect…just perfect

They thought of everything, things I didn’t even think we would need were there for our use. The place is so very comfortable and spacious. We felt like we were at home here. Highly recommend for families or small groups looking to stay together but still have their own rooms.

Great little cottage

We came to lake Simcoe to ice fish and this cottage was just perfect for that. The host was wonderful, the place was very clean and the neighborhood was very peaceful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this cottage.

Perfect private getaway

I went with some friends and my 3 year old. There was a park by the beach and right outside. The place had very vintage vibes. Over all our stay was lovely.

A nice place away from home

Amazing little place away from the hustle and bustle of life it self. Its exactly what a cottage should be. So much space for everyone to stay. Just with my stay, the people who were coming with me couldnt make it and i had the whole place to myself! Not to far away from the water as well.

The property, location to the lake, and the cottage to stay in was wonderful. Everything you need and the property owners are very nice people. Rustic and Cozy

I loved this place. Overall cleanliness was good. Bathrooms and kitchen are old but clean. The cottage contained everything necessary for cooking. We did try the BBQ however it seemed to be out of propane (maybe we were supposed to bring some). The space was enormous for looking deceptively small. 2 bathrooms is definitely a plus. Large kitchen table that fit all 6 of us. The yard was great for the kids after a long ride. They definitely needed to run. Parking for two cars. I only had two issues: 1. The GPS took a very weird route to get here when you can go directly off the highway(road) to the cottage. 2. The place was a bit dusty. (Specifically the front room where an old cassette boombox was located). This is only a problem as I have a dust allergy and got wheezy/sneezy because of it. I also might have made it worse as I opened up the boombox (eject button) as the kids did not know what it was. Overall would definitely stay again if I was going to be in the area.

The Kurtz family owns and manages the property together. We have been enjoying Lake Simcoe for many years; the adjoining cottage has been in our family for over 30 years. We hope that our guests get as much joy, rest and relaxation as we get when we visit.
