Midcentury 3-bedroom Beachy bungalow in Midtown Ventura- Walk to beach

Midtown Ventura home walking distance both to the beach, lovely parks, coffee shops/local restaurants and shops. Our neighborhood is quiet, charming, peaceful with wonderful, friendly neighbors. The historical vintage home has been thoughtfully appointed for guests in a cozy, midcentury, coastal themed style. It has three bedrooms, 2 full baths, fully outfitted chef's kitchen and large private outdoor spaces.

The space
Our street is all residential, with midcentury homes set back from the street and situated between midtown and downtown. I t’s a 10 minute walk to the beach, 15 minute walk to downtown Ventura. You can enjoy the lovely outdoor spaces where you can smell the ocean, check out the fruit trees and listen to the birds chirp. The house is outfitted with a new nest mesh wifi system so you have the fastest available internet connection throughout the house.

The largest bedroom looks out to the private, quiet backyard and has a ceiling fan, King bed, a dresser, and ensuite bathroom. One of the bedrooms has 2 single beds; a trundle bed that stores under the other. The third bedroom has a queen size bed and standing fan. All beds are brand new with high quality Allswell mattresses, ample pillows and organic cotton sheets.
The home also features two full baths, one with a separate claw foot tub. Both are outfitted with all new organic cotton towels. Separate beach towels are also provided.

The kitchen was recently remodeled and is easy to use, whether you are pulling together dinner for your family or a quiet breakfast for 1 or 2.

The living room has a large sofa, two comfy chairs, wood burning fireplace and a smart TV with Netflix, Spectrum Cable, or connect to your own preferred apps. There is also a bookshelf with boardgames and other activities. Perfect for enjoying a cozy night at home or family game night.
We have a shaded seating area outside the kitchen, making dining al fresco under the cafe lights also a nice way to end the day.

The house is located less than one mile from the beach and the coastal breeze keeps us cool. Please be aware that like most homes in the neighborhood, there is no air conditioning. Temperatures are usually mild and pleasant and the house usually cools down by opening the windows and turning on fans.

There’s also a laundry room with washer/dryer available for your use

The house is located in a quiet residential area. Maintaining trust and good relations with our neighbors, as well as respecting the local community is important. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 7am, per Ventura municipal code. SVTR permit No 2375.

No events, parties or loud music. Indoor smoking of any kind is not allowed. We also ask, out of consideration for our neighbors and public health concerns during the pandemic, that you follow social distancing guidelines to reduce the spread of the corona virus.

Please note, the house is only one level but is several steps up from street level whether you come in by the front door.

Not only will you find the bungalow SPARKLING clean, comfy, with beautiful decor and organic linens, ample pillows and down bedding but EVERY detail has been carefully considered. That means the house is appointed with everything you will need day-to-day. This includes not only paper products and a fully appointed kitchen, but also spa-quality bath products (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion), organic cleaning supplies and detergent, iron/ironing board and hair dryer. You will find the beautiful, remodeled chef's kitchen equipped not only with stainless steel appliances (36 inch range, blender, toaster, coffee maker and electric kettle) and everything you need to cook and serve up delicious meals, but also fully supplied with cooking oils, spices, and sugar. I also provide freshly roasted, organic coffee from the nearly locally owned coffee shop, Singing Sun, and creamer. The house is also equipped with a water softener (much better for your skin) and you will have unlimited filtered drinking water and ice from the fridge as there is a reverse osmosis filtration system.
