Welcome to Gem of the Desert, a beautifully renovated ground-floor condo that offers resort-style amenities within the sought-after Ventana Vista Condominium gated community. Located less than a mile from the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, you’ll find an abundance of shopping, dining, and entertainment options nearby. This area is perfect for those who enjoy hiking, biking, golfing, and birdwatching.

With the convenience of a ground-floor setting, you'll have easy access to a year-round heated pool, two hot tubs, pickleball and tennis courts, a fitness center, and a clubhouse featuring a pool table, ping pong table, game room, and library.

This updated condo includes two oversized bedrooms with king beds and two bathrooms, along with a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. You can unwind on your private shaded patio, ideal for enjoying coffee or cocktails off the dining room, and there's a small patio off the main bedroom that offers a lovely view. Inside, the well-equipped kitchen comes with a full set of major appliances for effortless home cooking. While relaxing in the living room, you can enjoy the ambiance of an electric fireplace and a 65” TV with free Netflix access. Each bedroom is also equipped with its own TV. Additional features include central air-conditioning, complimentary WiFi, and a full-sized washer and dryer. In the primary bedroom closet is also an ergonomic desk chair, monitor and printer for your use as needed for the business traveler, speeds ordered are 800mbps and expect about 50% wirelessly.

Initial point of entry into the unit must be the front door. There is a security door that will be unlocked at all times unless you are in the home. The smart lock is located behind the security door. It will light when touched. Enter code and turn knob to the left to open. Enter code and turn door to the right to close.

There are a bunch of restaurants in the area closest walking is Three Canyon Beer and Wine Garden. They have live music and great food!

For activities out of the community you will need a vehicle to travel to. I recommend renting a car or possibly taking a ride share for transit to nearby events. There is one designated covered spot (#28) and you can use any other open uncovered parking as well as free and open. Do not park in any other numbered spaces. Please notify your guests of any house/parking rules.

Please note that due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years old to make a reservation. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout their stay.

There is a temporary hold of $500 for each reservation. It will be held beginning 2 days prior to checkout, and then automatically released within 10 days. Please note this is not a charge unless damages are incurred.
Leave beds un-made and place all towels in the laundry room.

Pool towels are the colorful towels at the property. Do not take white bath towels to the pool.

House must be broom swept/vacuumed at checkout, dishes placed in sink.

Empty all food and drink's even un-opened items along with all trash. Please have all trash in large dumpsters to the right when you exit the front door across the street. Blue is recycle and tan is trash. ALL BOXES MUST BE BROKEN DOWN!! FINE WILL BE ASSESSED FROM HOA.

Parking spot 28 designated. All uncovered parking with no numbers is open parking. Please communicate this with any guests that may visit during the day.

Pool Keycard and Key are left in entry table in bowl at checkout. Loss will result in a $125 fee assessed for replacement.

Follow all pool and clubhouse rules. No wet bathing suits are permitted to walk through the clubhouse must exit exterior gate. Use key to enter again if you are wet.

Pickleball is currently open play, first come first serve, there are paddles and ball provided in clubhouse please put them back when you are done.

Loud noise should be limited after the hours of 8pm and before 8am.

Air conditioning should be turned to 85 degrees at checkout (summer bookings).

Heat to be set to 55 at checkout (winter bookings).

Ensure all lights are off and windows and doors are locked at checkout and all television and fan remotes are placed back in each room.

Do not move furniture.

Be sure to collect all belongings, any personal items left behind will be discarded after check-out.

Please mind the Arizona Wildlife as it may be beautiful, just not always friendly. If you see a snake in the property call 911 and let them know, the fire department will come and remove it.

No Commercial vehicles or RVs.

No Pets.

No Smoking on or around the premises of any kind.

No illegal activity will be tolerated and will be dealt with accordingly.

Sometimes accidents happen if something does break or needs replacing please reach out immediately.
