Relaxing getaway

Great location! Close to anything you would want to do. Cabin is absolutely perfect! From just sitting on the porch to sitting by the fireplace! Couldn’t ask for a better setup.

Awesome Escape

We had a great stay at the settlers cabin! Great location in the woods and the bed was very comfortable. It had everything we needed including firewood. We watched a movie at the theatre and it was like being in an AMC. Host was a great communicator. Highly recommend!

Amazing cabin!!

I recently visited the property and found it to be exactly as described, and honestly, even better than I expected. My time there was brief due to some business commitments in the area, but I wanted to share a quick overview of my experience.One feature that stood out was the spiral staircase. It is a bit tight, but as someone who is 6'1" and weighs 300 pounds, I was able to navigate it without any issues. Overall, even with my limited time there, I was impressed by the property. It not only met my expectations but also provided a more enjoyable experience than I anticipated. If you're considering a visit, don't let the staircase intimidate you.

Adorable cabin, but....

The cabin is adorable and clean, but the layout is not conducive with the oversized furnishings (and no room to get around them) and the very narrow spiral staircase that really poses a hazard. I'm 5'5", 170lbs, and I barely fit. We left just hours after we checked in because I was afraid that our dog (47lb and med.-sized) would injure herself trying to get to us upstairs. It is really not suitable for dogs or people with small children.

Samaritans purse assistance trip

The spiral staircase is dangerous for our young dog. The parking area was limited to 1 vehicle area---we had 2 large trucks; extra care must be taken to park at the paved parking pad. Nice washer and dryer provided. Cabin was warm and showers were hot. TV selection was nice. Seasonal decor was festive. When driving in it took a few minutes to locate, which was at dusk in the woods.

Amazing Host and place

This review is a little delayed due to internet issues in the wake of Hurricane Helene. We Planned this trip for our 40th Anniversary as we love the area. When we arrived and turned on the drive leading up to the cabin, it was as if we had driven into a painting passing loaded Apple trees and a beautifully decorated gate dressed for fall. We had a lovely evening relaxing in front of the fire. The cabin was spotless and so cozy. Little did we know that very night the area would be completely devastated by winds and rain from Helene. We woke to trees falling all around and blocking the drive. Our hosts, Jeff and Jennifer called to check on us and came down to try to clear the way out. However the fallen trees were huge and needed larger equipment. They had a generator so immediately invited us Into their home providing us meals, showers and whatever we needed until someone got there to clear the drive. They even took us riding with them once clear to try to find a clear path for us to return home where the hurricane had been also. Over those few tense days, we developed a very unlikely but special friendship we will Never forget. Jeff and Jennifer went over and beyond to make the best of a difficult situation for all. And it was obvious they were sincerely concerned for us though they suffered much loss through the storm. We hope that someday we will be able to go again when things are better. Thank you Jeff and Jennifer for everything. You’ll always be in our hearts❤️

A Cozy Mountain Retreat

We couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable place to stay! The cabin is small but cozy and had more than enough room to accommodate the three of us. When it was cold and rainy outside, there was nothing better than sitting inside, listening to the rain, and watching the fire. The hosts were also delightful and more than happy to give us advice about where to go in town. As for location, the cabin is well situated. It’s not too far from Hendersonville and close to most of the major orchards, which made it a nice apple-picking home base. We’re definitely planning on going back!

Quiet Cabin

We had a quiet stay at this cabin. The owner responded quickly to inquiries. We couldn’t find the dishwasher. The cleaning of the place could use some improvement, especially in the tub and bathroom. We found some hair when we turned on the whirlpool tub. So we couldn’t use it.

Cabin

We had an amazing time! The cabin was cozy, clean and allowed for us to gather with our family or find space to take time alone. The outdoor space is AMAZING and the location is convenient to get to many shops, restaurants, and activities. The cabin also has great activities for kids and a beautiful neighborhood for walks and scenic views. We highly recommend this property for a restful getaway.

The cabin had everything we needed and the location was great! Full kitchen, laundry, comfortable bed, fire pit, rocking chairs, and towels. Would stay here again.

Rustic WNC Cabin w/updates

A very perfect and unique spot for a family weekend vacation of mountain biking and exploring the Hendersonville area. Unique & secluded, the setting offers a true getaway feel. Would recommend and in fact we will be back!

Perfect getaway

Great setting and amenities. Just right for 2 people. Watch for oncoming traffic at blind hill spots on the long concrete driveway and make sure you're able to climb a small circular staircase to the loft. Say hi to the friendly cows in the neighborhood! It's a bit of a ride to Hendersonville but there are some good food trucks nearby. Wonderful place.

Cabin vibes

This was a beautiful property that was super cozy. The best sleep I've had on vacation in a very long long time. Its was a super cold weekend and building a fire helped keep us warm. You won't regret staying here.

Peaceful Retreat

We truly loved the authentic cabin experience with a touch of modern amenities. While the cabin offered WiFi and cable access, we loved sitting in the recliners in front of a wood burning fireplace. It was truly a wonderful place to relax in the mountains.
