Nice place! Close to the lake and Chimney Rock. Would love to visit in the fall when the leaves are off the trees so the view of the lake is better!

We had the BEST time staying at this cabin. The location is absolutely perfect and is just down the street from Chimney Rock State Park and Lake Lure. The cabin is so comfortable and well taken care of. The views from the back porch are gorgeous! Communication with the host was seamless, we cannot wait to visit again!

The cabin was cozy & had everything we needed. Beautiful views & very close to everything. Host was responsive & helpful. The moon & stars were stunning - we had a beautiful view of them from the balcony! Was a great place for a quiet getaway in the mountains!

The cabin was exactly as described and expected. We enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend for a nice little get away at Lake Lure. It is close to all the shops and activities. Right around the corner from the axe throwing and escape game room and our favorite restaurants. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the deck at night. The host was amazing with responding to all of my questions. If you're looking for a nice get-away, I highly recommend booking this cabin.

We have been staying in Bob's cabin every year for about 10 years. As always, we had a wonderful time. We also noticed a number of improvements that have been made in the cabin. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Cabin was cute and close to restaurants, Lake Lure town and Chimney Rock. We enjoyed eating at River View Restaurant and LaStrada. No mountain view from the cabin though.

Hi Debbie, thanks for your review. It was very nice. I'm fortunate to be able to offer a cabin for rent that IS so close to town with its shops and restaurants. The term "mountains" around here is somewhat subjective. I used to live in Santa Fe and the view was of a 12,000 foot mountain on the horizon. It's different here. I think the highest point on the east coast is 6,600 feet. But ground level is about 700 to 1000 feet above sea level. Santa Fe sits at 7,000. So the vertical rise of around 5,000 feet is the same at both locations. In saying that, when you're at the cabin, in the living room, looking out of the windows across the deck towards the horizon...those are mountains. Lol. Thanks again for staying. You were a great guest and I hope you'll come back.

Bring your own soap and shampoo. Several light bulbs burned out. Broken railing. Washed out entry way gravel so was pretty muddy. Location was good.

Perfect cabin, location and so close to everything! The views from the living area were amazing. The cabin was so close to all amenities in the area and grocery too. Took daily walks right from the cabin and enjoyed the beautiful lake views all around. Perfectly stocked with all you need and our dogs were welcome too! The best!! We will definitely be back!

The only thing that was not as nice as we would have liked was the deck and deck furniture. Both need to be upgraded. The host was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. House was clean and comfortable!!

This was a great cabin! Clean, simply laid out and had all the amenities you would expect. The cabin is well positioned allowing for easy access from the road way with a gentle incline to the cabin. The host was very responsive - we would stay here again.
