Cabin in the Mountains

This place was secluded up a mountain hill. Be prepared for some steep climbs, 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel. Cabin had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and building fires in the evening.The place was great and I highly recommend it!

Weekend Getaway

Cabin was very clean and everything in working order inside. Could use some landscape trimming/update outside and a new cover for the hot tub. Overall a good stay. We liked the seclusion. Will stay again in the future.

Cabin in the woods

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I rent cabins frequently in Sevierville. This time we wanted a few days for a fall getaway weekend and had planned to attend a concert on Saturday night. The road to the cabin is treacherous with many large holes and very narrow which caused a lot of anxiety during the stay. I didn’t know that when booking. It was definitely not safe to drive at night so we didn’t leave or go to the concert and just stayed until checkout. The fireplace and living room area were wonderful and we enjoyed having a fire throughout the weekend. Unfortunately the carpet really smells in the bedroom and there were limited pans for cooking. Would recommend removing the carpet and having more for cooking.(There wasn’t a baking sheet or cooking utensils) the microwave is filthy and should be replaced. So while we enjoyed the fire and fall weekend, we will not stay there again.

Great Anniversary Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed staying at Moose Tracks. It was very nice and clean. The only thing that I would suggest is having hand soap in the bathrooms and maybe the kitchen too. Besides that very minor thing, our stay was great. No complaints.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good experience, cabin was dated but comfortable. As stated there is no wi-fi and the road coming in requires a truck or SUV with good ground clearance. Enjoyed private hot-tub on back deck. Bed was good but not great. Pool table was good condition but there is not enough room to play. We experienced a bear that had obviously been fed. It laid in the back yard and watched us for about 20 minutes, and when we didn't give it any food, it snorted and charged at us, but we were u[p out of harms way. then it meandered off through the woods. We later discovered it had been in our visitors truck that had the windows down. Roll up our windows, take anything that smells edible out of our vehicle and lock the doors. DO NOT FEED THE BEARS!!!! May go back again.

WOW!!! AMAZING wildlife!!

what an amazing stay!!! we were visited daily by wildlife. from turkey chicks to multiple bear! This is an amazing place to stay for a true "get a way!!!!" the home was beyond perfect for us with our dogs!! we are looking forward to an additional stay in the fall to see the view that is hidden by trees with the leaves gone. THIS home has a TRILLION DOLLAR VIEW behind all the trees on the property. That was a big reason we chose this home to stay at, for the VIEW... but truly were mot let down become the view was a ZERO! we walked around to see the AMAZING view behind their trees, the wildlife made up for everything neglect!! 100%

It was just okay

It was just okay. We enjoyed the pool table even though there wasn't enough room for it and the pool cues need new tips. We enjoyed two bear sightings at the cabin. No Mountain View’s however. The cleanliness could've been better. It is pet friendly yes but the bedroom carpet had numerous stains and needed replaced with some type of waterproof hard flooring. Two main reasons we will not return: 1) The road leading to the cabin was extremely rough and difficult to navigate. 2) There was a literal infestation of brown milipedes. A few may be understandable, but we battled them constantly and they even crawled on the bed which he made sleeping in the bed stressful. Overall disappointed.

More negative than positives

Positive-nice layout, high ceilings, hot hot tub, good water pressure, pet friendly, hot water, private, private jetted tub. Negative-NO WI-FI . far away from main attractions, took at least half hour to get anywhere. Road is horrible with deep ruts and steep inclines. Cob webs. Thick layer of dust on all wall slats. Granted this is an older cabin but toilet seat is missing a piece so you sit crooked and it’s very scratched up. Furniture and some blinds are chewed up but that is due to animals in cabin, didnt effect us. I did like the cabin overall. Did complain to management about some issues but they said they would pass it along to owner.

The place wasn’t what it says it was the picture are deceiving

Reviewer Comments: The windows need to be cleaned you can tell it isn’t individually owned it’s owned by a real estate company coming in at 3 o’clock in the afternoon is crazy I mean I can take that but I have to be out by 10 o’clock is ridiculous. Noon should be the time.. if you are a family of four do not stay there it’s really tight places unless you’re going to be gone all day. I will not rent from this company again. The roads are so rough to drive up the the cabin

Happiness is time spent in the Smokies

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time to stay at Moose Tracks. It was easy to find even though we arrived well after dark. It felt secluded even though there were cabins nearby. The front yard area was fairly level, so it was easy to take the dog out on a leash. Although we enjoy riding around seeing all the sights, we also like spending time at our cabin just relaxing. Moose Tracks had everything we needed to keep us happy and relaxed.

Up The Mountain!

Reviewer Comments: Not a bad little cabin,was clean except for a bit dusty,bedroom ceiling fan broke with lots of dust,fixtures quite dusty as well,only used master tube shower, newer hot tube really nice and clean, older carpet in the bed room but no Oder. Road to cabin 4x4 or Truck road needs work. We would visit again 25-30min from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Great food near by and Coffee.

Amazing cabin

This is the second time we have rented in the area, loved this particular cabin, close enough to town to get to anything easily but far enough away to feel like you are in the middle of no where, had no issues, anytime I had had a question for the host, I got a response within 30 minutes. We will stay again. Thanks again

July 2023 Stay

really enjoyable. people were friendly and polite. cabin was as in ad except the view. trees were grown up, where you couldn't see the smokies on the back deck. hot tubs PH was way off and couldn't use. we did have seen 2 mother black bears with their babies, one down the road and one that came right to the cabin.
