Winter snow trip

This cabin was not available because of the roads and the water due to the weather, but very grateful the Cove Mountain realty was able to accommodate us with a very lovely cabin! We had a good trip

Smells of wet dog

Overall it was just fine, but not worth the price we paid. We did not notify property manager as our intent was not to stay in the home for the entire trips duration, but just have a home to relax in at the end of the day. The location is great and halfway between the Smokey national park and pigeon forge. However the home itself was not very clean. There were droppings in the laundry room, stink bugs inside the home and the worst was the wet dog smell throughout the house. The carpets were damp when we arrived, so my assumption is the cleaners tried to wet vac the home to try and help with the smell. On the bright side, there were bears that came right up to the front door. though they ones

House was Perfect!!!!

We enjoyed our trip so much! We will be back. It was 2 couples that came 55-63 in age. The house was roomy, comfortable, clean! The bears came to visit (mom and 5 babies!) a hot tub would have been nice…. But we managed without it! A couple of little things need seen to the coffee maker leaks. You only end up with a half a pot and it takes forever

Close to GSMNP

The roads were a bit narrow, and the furnishings a bit dated. But the wildlife was amazing! We saw a yearling bear and a momma bear with 5 cubs through the back windows! The home was clean overall, just a few small items that needed updating. New toilet seats, as the ones that were there had areas worn through the paint on the seats. The location was close to everything and we had a great time whi.e we were there.

Nice Place

This was a really nice place to stay. The road getting up there was a little scary. It was much easier coming down. It was well worth it. My daughter loved the jacuzzi tub. Also was a little pricey but not terrible.

The property was clean and everything we needed was provided for 's in a great location about half way between Pigeon Forge and was very peaceful and relaxing and we wish we could have stayed longer. The weather was great and there is lots to do.The owners have even provided maps and guides so you always have a head start to the attractions. If you want a good mountain view and a peaceful, relaxing place to stay in Wears Valley, this would be the place!

August 2023 Stay

Cabin was fine but needs to be updated. The floor underneath the master bath shower feels mushy and needs to be replaced. I was traveling with my elderly mother and the one level floor plan was perfect for the two of us. There was definitely an odor when walking in. Location is very convenient to Metcalf Bottoms entrance to the park.

This cabin is perfect to get away from everything!!! Clean, spacious, and beautiful!! The hill up is steep but my car handled it just fine. We had zero problems/issues while we were here and hope to come back soon!!

the cabin was comfy, it had plenty of living space for the 4 of us . to our surprise the ice maker worked in the refrigerator. we loved the covered porch but we would recommend cutting some climbs so guests could see the view of the mountains under the sink there was rat poop all in the cabinets and it had a leak under the sink and duct tape wrapped around the pipes. I don't think the pillow shames and comforter are changed between guests the pillow shames smelled awful , they need to shampoo the carpets in the bedrooms or put down new flooring they are covered in stains /spots were dogs have peed on the floor. when you leave for the day and come back you got hit in the face with the smell of dog pee when you entered the cabin. we had a pine tree blown almost over on power lines I sent a message telling property manager and they completely ignored me . Overall our vacation was great and the cabin was comfy it just needs some cleaning and a few repairs.

awesome stay we had a visitor the first morning. while we were sitting on the back porch. the cabin was awesome everything went well. only thing made us nervous was the steep hill up to the cabin. we will probably choose something lower down the mountain when we visit again.
