Family College Weekend Visit

The property was great. The host communicated well throughout the entire visit. Everything we needed and few extras we wouldn’t have thought of were at the house upon arrival. The house was spacious enough for six adults. The back deck was wonderful for grilling on a beautiful sunny day. The house was close enough to everything anyone would want to do in Tiger Town!

Very enjoyable stay.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable experience while staying the house. We also appreciated the location in the sense of reserved and relaxed location as well as the nearby conveniences like groceries and restaurants etc. Very nice area.

Great property

The house was ideal! Perfect for our party of 3. We each had our own comfortable bedroom. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Very nice touch when we walked in - music playing, soft lighting and a bottle of wine welcomed us. Short distance from campus.

Great location for a week fishing three lakes!

Jim met us and showed us around the house. He was very accommodating and worked with our situation. The house was as clean as we have seen, as we use VRBO a lot. The location put us less than thirty minutes from all three big lakes in the area. We will return and hope to stay here again. Highly recommend this property.

Great house in Clemson

The House was great. Very nicely renovated and convenient for daughters Clemson move in day. Tookie was a great host and was kind enough to have left us a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio. The deck was huge and we were able to have a home cooked meal using the outdoor gas grill. All and all I would highly recommend this lovely home. We hope to return often during the next four years.

Absolutely perfect!!

Don’t miss out on this hidden gem. It’s close enough to everything, but also far enough away to be perfectly private. It’s in a nice, quiet neighborhood, beautifully decorated, very clean, and well stocked. All I needed that wasn’t there was a dish rag or sponge and I would have loved a mirror in the bedrooms (preferably full-length). Check-in and checkout were a breeze. We arrived 20 minutes early and it was no problem to check in early.

Comfortable beds and pillows!

Nice neighborhood and home. Very close to Clemson Univ. It is next to the airport but we were there a whole week and only saw about 4 planes take off. It did not bother us at all. It is kind of a nice treat. We love nature so we enjoyed hiking to the waterfalls - 1hr 30 min drive. We also drove to Helen, GA and to Stone Mountain - about 2hr drive each. Town of 96 is interesting for the History buffs. The owners are very nice and the home was very comfortable.

Great getaway house but inconsiderate Owner.

The property owner agreed to a one hour delay in check out time then changed their mind one day before checkin. The guest is not their priority.

Full Circle

We rented this lovely house for my daughter’s freshman move into Clemson back in August of 2018. Rented it again for graduation this weekend. Once again greeted with jazz music playing from the smart TV and a bottle of vine. The place was immaculate. We were able to have a small graduation party for 10 on the huge back deck. The gas grill was great and the kitchen had all the bowls, pots, and utensils for me to make a big graduation dinner. Thanks again Tookie for your hospitality and sharing your lovely Clemson Basecamp I highly recommend this property.

Perfect house for Family of 4

The house was very clean and the owners were great to deal with. The home had everything we needed including a supply of coffee, bottle of wine, and all the necessary essentials. The owners were very accommodating and we would definitely stay there again.

Convenient and Comfortable

Stayed here for several days and found the house comfortable. We were in town for my son's graduation and found this house conveniently located for all of our activities. There were 6 of us staying at the house and we had plenty of linens and other supplies. There was coffee and even a bottle of wine for our first night. All communication with the owners was answered in a timely manner. Wanted to stay here for our next visit in November but the house is already booked. This rental is definitely on our list of places to rent again.

Short family getaway

We moved here from Colorado to escape the harsh winters. Jim is from Ohio originally and Tookie is from... well everywhere! She grew up as a military dependent. Clemson Basecamp is a home that neighbors our own house.

Newly remodeled, this bright home features ample room for 6 adults. The huge deck is fabulous and includes a grill for your entertaining. With high speed internet and satellite TV, you can get some work done, or just relax. Washer and dryer included for your longer stays.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The home is close to the sleepy little regional airport. There is virtually no traffic except on game days. You may even see Dabo getting into his private plane from your living room window.
