Great Lake Retreat!

My wife and I were in town with my teen twins, visiting Clemson University as a potential college. This getaway on the lake was a perfect stop to relax. The property is in an ideal location for privacy, and the dock view is perfect. Kids loved the lake and the kayaks. Hoping they commit to Clemson! We would love to rent again.

Great time at the lake

Kids had so much fun at the lake, we loved the pathway walks to the lake through the wooded area, and having our meals on the screened porch. The house is clean, and furnished with everything you need. Jane provided all the details and we didn’t have to contact her with any questions or concerns, we just enjoyed our stay. Will definitely go back again.

Great Relaxing View

Directions were easy and simple-no complications. The home was so clean and comfortable. We loved the view of the lake from the house, and the short walk to the dock was easy on the concrete path. We felt very safe-loved the privacy. Jane called back immediately when I had a question. Thanks, we hope to be back again! This has been my favorite place to stay.

So Relaxing

This lake home is very welcoming and comfortable. We felt right at home when we walked in and knew we had chosen the right place as soon as we walked onto the back deck and saw the lake. The host is very accommodating and answers any question within minutes. The area is safe, the neighbors in the cove are quiet, and it's just beautiful. We'll definitely be back!

everything you need for a family vacation

Jane was prompt to reply and easy to work with in all communications. The house is spacious and well equipped although a bit dated. Great updates are the wood (or laminate?) floors. This place is CLEAN. They have tons of towels at the ready! The screened in porch is great! Four exposures, 2 ceiling fans, plenty of tables and chairs. We played games and ate out there all the time we were not on the dock. The dock is truly deep water, and we enjoyed being in and near the lake all day. You have a lovely wide view of the water. The pedal boat is a fun activity although the canvas sun bonnet was inoperable because of missing clips. It will be nice to have that operational. Also there are some rusted chairs with crumbled, missing foam, that we were cautioned to sit on carefully. They need to go to the dump... They are completely unusable, yet chained in place so they taking up valuable shade space. One of the reasons I chose the house was their no pets policy. We have one allergic family member. She was allergic on this trip. Maybe the owners have a pet. You can always check this. I'm sure she'll give you a straight answer. All in all a great place to escape for the weekend. We brought food and never left the house in 3 days.

Very peaceful and beautiful

Sitting on the back deck, you could hear nothing but nature. We loved being away from the everyday life of traffic and noise. Our 7 year old great grandson had a blast. My only somewhat negative would be that the beds were too soft as we liked firm mattress. But I still give it an A plus. We would definitely recommend this to others and would definitely come back!!

Great Place on the Lake

Enjoyed the lakefront location with all the amenities and boat dock. Very close to Clemson and Seneca. House was clean with nice deck, screened in porch, and grill. Even kayaks are supplied. Perfect for a vacation on the water!

Wonderful Lake House

We really enjoyed our stay here. The lake house was spacious and clean. The house had everything we needed for the stay. It’s a large property for the kids to play on and a big deck to fish off of. I would look forward to returning here in the summer to truly get the experience on the water.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient to Clemson and the lake front property was beautiful. We enjoyed spending time in the water and the dock. The house is a bit dated but had everything that we needed for our family. There was a nice grill and plenty of water toys for us to use

Great Lake House

House was stocked with all amenities in kitchen n refrigerator. The refrigerator ice machine was able to keep up 10 people in 100 degree weather but you do need to bring ice for coolers. Docker are convenient for all types of activities. A great time for all!!
