Cozy with great location and gracious host

The house was beautiful, cozy, and clean with lots of natural light. There were lots of extras such as a "welcome" bottle of wine and chocolates. The owner was gracious and responsive and made the reservation process easy - she even accommodated our scheduling adjustments. We will definitely book this house again when needed. I highly recommend this property.

Great Rental in Downtown Berkeley neighborhood

We enjoyed this roomy upstairs flat with all the conveniences of home. Lovely out door patio and large kitchen and dining room made it a perfect spot for visiting SF Bay Area for a family wedding.

The perfect spot!

We enjoyed feeling like a local in this uber quaint apartment. The outside gardens offered a sweet respite after a long day of workshops. We would definitely return.

Great location, generous owners

This was a wonderful vrbo experience. Berkeley is a nice town and close to all sorts of activities. There is a BART station nearby, which we used to get into San Fran. The beach and Muir forest are only 1 hr away (we went to Stinson). The property was well-stocked with basic necessities, which was really helpful. I hope to return and read More of the guest book!

Wonderful Home

We really enjoyed staying in Lynn’s beautiful, clean, welcoming home. The place was in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of a number of restaurants and stores. It was perfect for our family of five adults. We loved the cheery, eclectic style of the interior. It was filled with books, beautiful art and rugs and happy family pictures. The kitchen was well stocked and Lynn had generously let us use her selection of organic tea, herbs and condiments. The bedrooms were cozy and the beds comfortable. We appreciated the thoughtful details, such as a bowl of fruits, a bottle of wine, some nuts and bars of organic chocolate set out on the large dining table when we arrived. We also appreciated being able to have some friends and family over for a visit. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the lovely backyard.

A wonderfully located and well planned place for a large group to stay. The owners are super aswell.

We were a group of people from four different countries that spent one week in this property and it suited us very well. Lots of space and a wonderful garden that we enjoyed the warm February Californian sun and ate lemons and clementines off the trees! A very quiet neighbourhood with very little traffic outside and an easy walk into Berkeley and Trader Joes well stock local supermarket. The kitchen was very well stocked with utencils and cooking equipment with everything one needs to make food at home and the beds were super comfy too. The owners were easy to communicate with and very very friendly too. Nice welcome wine and chocolate too.

Apartment worked perfectly

My husband and I rented Lynn's apartment to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and it worked perfectly. The kitchen had every pan, bowl and utensil we needed. The table comfortably accommodate six people. The location is close to many restaurants and coffee shops. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet. All in all it was it great stay. We are in the Berkeley area often and will rent Lynn's apartment again. The organic coffee, chocolate and a nice bottle of wine just made it more pleasant. The off-street parking was a real plus.

Convenient location and gorgeous property.

Lynn was very easy to communicate with and always responded quickly! The rooms are spacious, has a great kitchen. Super convenient location, near a few BART stations, so it's easy to get into the city. Very close to downtown Berkeley as well! Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful experience!

The rental was true to the advertisement and the owner was very gracious! Beautiful home and yard, great location and very comfortable. I needed a place to entertain for my daughter’s wedding and it was spacious and accommodating. The owner was understanding and helpful, and allowed me to walk through the property a good month out to make sure it would work for me. I had reserved it several months out, so I was pleased with my experience!

Large lovely duplex

Surrounded by greenery, the second floor duplex was a pleasure for our sisters vacation. We came not only to sightsee, but to cook together. The kitchen was large and stocked with every pot/pan or gadget that was required for our gourmet recipes. We had a wonderful time.

Charming, comfortable and clean home, a short drive from San Francisco.

Or family loved our stay at Lynn's home. We love older homes, so the look and feel of the home was perfect. The decor is also lovely. Despite its age, it contains modern appliances in the kitchen and updated bathrooms (The master bathroom has become the standard by which we will measure all bathrooms!). Plenty of space for our family of four. All in all, a great stay! Thanks, Lynn!

Great !!

Very beautiful house, clean and large, nice garden and lynn was very kind with us. Very nice atmosphere in this house. The cleaning expense at 150 usd is expensive. Out of date Food from the fridge should be removed before our arrival.

Wonderful!!

Lynn is a very thoughtful host. Everything we needed was available. Very clean, comfortable and a beautiful backyard to boot. One of the better rentals I have stayed in, and I have stayed in a lot. She and her home were both fantastic!!

Peaceful and luxurious oasis, centrally located

Family gathered in Berkeley for our daughter's graduation. We were lucky to find this beautiful place with lots of room and comfort. Lovely backyard for breakfasts on the deck and afternoon sun down in the garden. Very kind hosts who were available whenever needed. Spacious, quiet and relaxing. Enormous well-equipped kitchen and dining room that made family meals so pleasant. Feeling lots of gratitude for this place and would love to stay here again. Washer/dryer very convenient. Lots of light and beautiful wood floors. Thanks!

The best.

This place was the best in every way. Lovely and responsive host. Lovely furnishings. Quality sheets. Fresh fruit and nuts on the dining room table to greet us. Excellent kitchen equipment. Lovely back yard. First class everything.

It was a very nice upstairs house. Extremely clean and well maintained

We had a great time staying here. Lynn was very friendly and gracious. The house has every thing you would need for your time here. The location is great also for the short drive to San Francisco or anywhere in Oakland. Can’t wait to come back and hopefully stay here again.

Great place, super location, very polite owner, I would certainly stay here again.

Lynn has a lovely home, 3 bedrooms, lovely sitting area, spacious dining room, fantastic kitchen. The wi fi works great. Home is on 2nd floor and she had painted the steps with a special paint so the stairs are not slippery on wet, chilly mornings. Highly recommend.

Charming

My family visited the San Francisco area and stayed in Berkley. The house was very clean and had all the amenities of home. It is located close to just about anything you need. The owner, Lynn, was gracious and very willing to accommodate our needs. She even checked in with us during our stay to make sure all was going ok. I would definetely recommend this property.

Beautiful home in great location

Great location and very nicely maintained and decorated apartment and had everything we needed in the kitchen (plus washer/dryer). Off street parking was a huge benefit. Unbelievably quiet - never before been able to sleep with windows open in an urban area. Would have liked to know beforehand that we'd have downstairs neighbors - with the wooden floor it's hard to keep young kids quiet so as not to disturb. Could have also used a small hand vac for tidying up after the kids.
