Dancing Firs - Vitality365 Wellness Retreat har fått sitt namn efter 18 granträd som dansar med havsbrisen i Semiahmoo Bay. Denna enastående egendom med många trädgårdar och skogsstigar som leder till en mycket lugn strand med utsikt över Birtch Bay och USA Gulf Islands.
Vår Bay View-svit (1350 kvadratmeter) är ett parhus med privata däck och uteplatser med en spektakulär 180 graders utsikt över havet.
Detta hem ligger på två nivåer - den övre nivån har vardagsrum / matsal, med en eldstad och bäddsoffa för drottning, fullt utrustat kök och badrum med jacuzzi.
Den lägre nivån har 2 sovrum: ett privat sovrum med king size-säng med egen privat uteplats på gården och en semi-privat, med ett badrum med dusch.
Högkvalitativ sängkläder i egyptisk bomull, lyxiga handdukar av ekologisk bomull; biblioteksböcker, videor och tidskrifter erbjuder oändlig underhållning. A beautiful natural setting

We loved our stay! Many hours were spent gazing at the eagles soar and play in the sky, walking down the winding pathway to the beautiful natural beach below, and seeing/hearing the train pass by like days of old.. The mature garden areas were gorgeous with a variety of flowers blooming and the tiered grass areas were so enjoyable and welcoming . The bottom patio was fabulous for outdoor yoga, and gazing up through the grape arbour to the sky was magical. Mary was a very gracious host! She was warm, welcoming and extremely thoughtful. She made sure we were comfortable and our needs were met at all times. We left feeling sad that the vacation had gone by so quickly, but at the same time were totally rejuvenated and relaxed. Beautiful sanctuary close to White Rock beach, pier and restaurants

Everything about our stay with Mary and Amanda was top notch. The property is located just up the hill from the White Rock promenade (an easy refreshing 20 minute walk or 2 minute car ride), where you'll find many great restaurants and cute, boutique shops. Crescent Beach, another local gem, is an 8 minute drive in the other direction, with a larger mall (Save on Foods, Shoppers Drugstore, etc,) a 5 minute drive to the north east. The property setting is absolutely stunning; the pictures on the website do not convey the beauty and serenity that you feel when looking out over Semiahmoo Bay towards the Gulf Islands and Birch Point, or walk the trail towards the ravine/ocean in amongst the many fir trees that perform their dance when the wind picks up. If you love nature, you'll see many eagles soaring above the trees and over the ocean, humming birds flitting amongst the bushes, robins, chickadees, towhees, woodpeckers.....an absolute delight to watch and listen to. On more than a few clear, windy days, we counted upwards of 14 eagles. They kept us entertained for hours as they performed their aerial show, soaring high and low above and around us, catching the updraughts, hanging motionless, or diving down towards the ocean and some unknown target. We had our 2 sons and their partners stay with us for a few days over the Christmas holidays, and found the space was comfortable and suitable for the 6 of us, plus a dog and small baby. The kitchen had everything we needed to put on our big Christmas dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 month winter stay with Mary and Amanda. They made us feel so welcome. If we needed anything at anytime, they were prompt and quick to respond. We look forward to returning to this sanctuary soon. My wife and I will miss having our morning coffee in the main room, looking out over the luscious greenery, watching the birds play, backdropped by the Pacific Ocean. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Lovely property, delightful host

My husband and I stayed for six weeks in this beautiful home with spectacular views. Mary keeps the property in immaculate shape. She was extremely helpful, and dealt with a few minor issues very quickly. There is a good BBQ outside the front door. The TV upstairs and downstairs have a good selection of cable as well as Netflix. It was nice to have a large washer and dryer just outside and around the corner in a separate room, but very easy to access and the machines do a good job. The only downside is the fact there isn't a dishwasher. And one must walk through one bedroom to get to the other which wasn't a problem for us (only two people) but it may not work for everyone. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely home in the White Rock/South Surrey/Ocean Park area.

Marvellous Mary and Dancing Firs

Dancing Firs is without a doubt, a true home away from home! Spectacular ocean view and garden, mini library, local artwork, fireplaces, fine bedding and bath linens, well supplied kitchen with top of the line water filter, superior natural grooming products, and the list goes on. But the thing that sets it apart from every other bnb is Mary Robson the host. Kind, caring, thoughtful, always available, giving of herself, and having the ability to make you feel as if you were the only guest that ever mattered. Dancing Firs gets 5 stars from the whole family!

Wonderful, peaceful stay.

What an amazing place to stay. First, Mary, the property owner. She is caring, thoughtful, and ensured our stay was wonderful. Second, the backyard. It felt like a private park and our kids and dogs loved playing and hiking there. The home is comfortable, clean and it made it easy to stay for an extended period of time. Highly recommend this location and am looking to return as soon as we can.

A little piece of heaven !

I had the privilege of staying at “Dancing Firs” in White Rock for an entire month this summer. Everything from the wellness products provided in the home to the spectacular view and beautiful garden was a treat beyond my expectations. My host, Mary, was particularly kind and helpful in every way possible. My dog often wandered over to find her as she was made to feel welcome as well. My stay was perfect in every way ......... thank you so much!

Awesome experience

We stayed for almost two months and really enjoyed it. The best part was meeting and becoming friends with Mary. The property is maintained with a lot of love. There is a peaceful vibe and the view is stunning. The plants and trees are constantly being taken care of. We loved seeing the hummingbirds and the eagles. White Rock is a great little town with friendly people and wonderful places to walk and explore. And Mary's is a great place to feel right at home. - Wendy and Colin

Sad t have to say goodbye

My wife and I stayed with our small yorkie at Mary's suite for a month from beginning of September to beginning of October. We had an incredible stay at Mary's home, it is peaceful, excellently appointed, and central to White Rock as well as surrounding communities and Vancouver. We had everything we needed for a month or more, and Mary saw to our every need and comfort. Mary's home is a million $ property among many multi-million $ homes, with luxury in the suite as well as the grounds. Mary is a friendly and cheerful person, who shared many conversations with us, advised us on local sites and attractions, and invited us into cultural events at her home; we feel we are leaving a dear friend. We had the larger, 2 bed suite and can recommend this suite for couples or families with one or two children (there is also a pullout sofa for larger families, as we recall). The kitchen is well appointed for making meals at home, even though White Rock offers many culinary options within a mile to two (also the communities of Ocean Park and Crescent Beach, only minutes away). Walking distance to the White Rock pier and promenade is about 2KM from the house, and a bit further to Ocean Park - both involve some uphill segments back to the house, so be prepared for a bit of exercise along the way :-) Access to Hwy 99 into Vancouver is just 5Km or so up 140th St, and to the US border slightly more via Marine Blvd to 8th Ave. US travellers with Global Entry can use Nexus lanes into the US (but not into Canada, unless you have also Nexus). If there were 10 stars to rate Mary's suite, we would give them all.

Amazing from A to Z!!!

Extraordinary experience! Mary cares deeply about our happiness, with attention to every detail.

The location is exclusive, with a serene setting among lush gardens. The view of the ocean from every window is quite something. 5 star touches everywhere...luxury bed linens, high end coffee maker, wide assortment of teas. Ultra clean. Wish we didn’t have to leave. Ever.

Enjoyable property with great views, owner very hospitable.

The lower level was different with adjoining bedrooms. To access the lower washroom from the walkout bedroom you walk through the adjacent bedroom. The lower exterior lights did not work. The light above the tub did not work. The barbeque igniter needed repair and the gas valves need adjustment. It was nice to be able to do laundry on site. A dishwasher would be a benefit. Overall very enjoyable stay, thank you Mary.

Home Away From Home

Jand and David Osborne - We stayed at "Dancing Firs" for four months in the summer of 2016. The accommodation was perfect, exactly as described and the location is in a quiet neighbourhood of White Rock. The views from the lawn over the ocean and Mary's gardens and landscaping are spectacular. Mary is so friendly, helpful and accommodationg that we felt very welcome and at home. This is a perfect place for a short or long stay. Janet

Outstanding Property and Amazing Host

The property is outstanding in many ways. It is a quiet retreat from the busy White Rock strip yet close enough to to stroll down and enjoy the many restaurants and boisterous nightlife. A 2 bed suite with the most comfortable fold out sofa in the living room upstairs. Great for family dinners in front of the picture window or Al fresco on the patio it was a great place to entertain. A fabulous trail from the house to the rocky beach below with plenty of rest stops on the way back up. Mary was an amazing host going above and beyond all of my expectations, from laundry to providing games for my grandchildren. It was always a pleasure to see and talk with her. We'll be back for sure!
