Tranquility on the Lake

Spacious one story 3 bedroom, 2 bath with fully equipped kitchen, dining room and plenty of room to spread out within the living room, lanai, family room, and reading nook, plus outdoor dining space & fishing dock. Kayaks, canoes, fishing poles and corn hole await your arrival as well as the ducks and other water fowl. The Hard Rock is located across the lake. This location is convenient to major hwys, crossroads and Ybor city. We came for Baseball Spring training and visited 5 ball parks in and around this West Florida coast area, but there is so much more to see and do. If back in Tampa again, we would definitely stay here again.

Great property - highly recommend

We were showing animals at the Florida State Fair - easy access, lakefront was beautiful and peaceful. For being close to every thing neighborhood is very quiet. Owner was very helpful and we left item in house and made sure that we recovered. We will look to stay here again.

Nice time away

Had a great time with family. Property was nice and comfortable. Loved sitting on the swing overlooking the water. Beds were comfortable. The property was centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit.

Peaceful

Nice neighborhood. It was just my husband, dog and I, but house would be comfortable for at least 4 more. Backyard is shared with the neighbor, so we did not let our dog run loose. Less than 10 min. to Hard Rock and Amphitheater. I would stay here again.

Perfect Location for a Vacation!

So much to do in the area! Several major local attractions are just a stone's throw away (Busch Gardens, Hard Rock Cafe Casino...) The house is clean, quite, and comfortable; the rental was also furnished nicely, with plenty of room for everyone. Too much good to say... Trying to properly describe everything we liked about this property, would have me typing forever :)

Just OK

My two weeks there were just ok. The two living room TV's were Roku, which I've never used, so a booklet or instruction sheet would have been helpful. No lamps in the two living rooms, only the bright ceiling fan lights. Having a side or floor lamp would have helped to see the remote when using it. The photos showed the lounge chair in the backyard with a thick cushion but when I arrived there was an old, ratty one on it. I eventually saw the nice one on the porch thrown over things in the corner. The photos showed the porch with the grill, table and chairs, and two adirondak chairs but that wasn't the case when I was there. No idea where the adirondak chairs were. The windows on the porch wouldn't open so sitting out there wasn't possible because of the heat. The photos also showed a foot rest for the white lounge chair but that didn't exist either. The refrigerator kept my food barely cold. If you come with a dog check out the Al Lopez park. It's about 7 miles from the house, 132 acres, with a 1.2 mile walking path. Many benches, shelters, two large play areas, big fenced in dog park, etc. A perfect place to spend the day. I don't mean to sound so negative about this rental, but I do believe there are improvements that could be made. I wouldn't stay there again.

Our travel agent found us this place and it was amazing. It was clean, easy to access, and the views were spectacular. The sunrise and sunset from the backyard was beautiful. Thank you Eric for sharing this place.

Terrific House

Lovely, peaceful, quiet, private lake front! Covered patio, surrounding bamboo trees and lake breeze made sitting outside enjoyable throughout the day. Comfortably furnished. Also, well situated in the Tampa area. Owner responds quickly to texts. Will definitely stay again when visiting Tampa!

Home away from home

This house is a cute little Florida home with a beautiful lake in the back yard. We saw some of the most beautiful sunsets. Everything was clean and amply stocked, Eric was easy to contact for questions and knowledgeable about the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Senior girl scout trip

found it very peaceful and comfortable. I enjoyed having my morning coffee and yoga on the dock with the ducks, cranes, and turtles. Everything was easy to find and there was plenty of room for 5 grown adults. There was plenty of sitting room, for when we wanted to have down time and watch T.V.. It was very clean and organized

Great Lakeview.

Went for my son’s birthday. We barbecued the first night and ate by the water. There was a smoker too. Close to Busch Gardens. Loved the quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed the backyard. Definitely needs some dark window shades and the house smelled musky when we entered,but we took care of it with some candles and air freshener.

Awesome backyard

This house was a great place to stay for our family Tampa trip. The backyard on the lake is beautiful. Two out of three beds were comfy. The house smelled a little musty when we arrived, but was fixed with some air fresheners and plugins. Definitely needs room-darkening curtains in the bedrooms though. We were up at 6am! Had a great time here.

Heart of the City!

If you like to take vacations that have adventure and fun, and not just be a beach bum, this is the place for you. We were able to get to all of our planned activities within an hour. If we would have stayed on the beach it would have added 40+ minutes to Orlando and the swamp tour we did. On the days we were beach bums, we were at the beach in 40 minutes. Neighborhood is quiet and full of animal life.

Waterfront property; Quiet Neighborhood

We visited Tampa for Busch Gardens. My husband chose the house because it was on the water and he wanted to fish. We enjoyed our stay. It's close to Busch Gardens, but no so close that you get caught up in tourist traffic.
